When a man wanders off deep inside the salt mine, he finds a young lady to help him find his way out or does he? A chilling tale that I Highly Recommend!
Not much is known about this author, which peaked my interest.
Final Verdict A lot in common with other tales of this time. I listened to a Youtube retelling of this story. Narrated by Simon Stanhope.
"No flare of torches, but the steady gleam of a lamp." A young man relates his story of getting lost in a salt mine, when he comes across a spectre- who I find bizarre- referring to her as a damsel, when she's rescuing you. Just take the help that's been accepted (he eventually does, but referring to your rescuer as a damsel, is ridiculous.
