I love Valentina and Sebastian's story just like I knew I would. It's sexy, funny, and intriguing. The pranks, banter, and sexual tension are perfection!
I was extremely excited to see the CiB series character's kids all grown up! It was definitely a major highlight for me. The relationship they all have is just like I hoped it would be.
Subscriber Wars is an enemies to lovers, new adult romance told in a unique style that kept me invested the whole way through. I enjoyed watching Valentina and Sebastian's story unfold, and I look forward to reading more second gen character's stories in the future.

Kristy Marie wowed me with her Commander series with her swoon-worthy heroes and now she has swept me off of my feet with these next generation alphaholes. Subscriber Wars was a veritable treasure trove of fun!
What do we get?

It took me some time to really get into this story. In fact, I didn't even really connect with Valentina and Sebastian until I hit around the halfway mark. I think it's because I'm not a big fan of new adult romance so some of the silliness and immaturity threw me off. However, the further I went, the better it got, and by the end, I was in love with these two. They were utterly ridiculous, their antics were entertaining, and I had a blast getting to know them. Oh and I loved seeing my beloved Timaeus Lambros once again!

1 idk what happened star
I’m sorry but I just failed to connect with the main characters.
I failed to understand the plot of the book.
I was confused 95% of the time with what was happening.
And then when the big revelation happened about what went down between the two main characters, I was like please someone tell me this is a joke.
It was so cringy that I couldn’t even complete the chapter. It was really bad.

“Don’t you lie to me!” I yell, balling my fists like I’m getting ready to swing at the fool. Clearly, I’m not, but that’s what dudes do. They fight for no damn reason other than to show who has the bigger dick. Well, here I am, boys. See how big my peen is. Not really, because I don’t have a peen, but that’s the vibe I’m trying to pull off here.
“Why I am here?” I spit and grab at my non-existent balls, which sends Sebastian’s ticking jaw into overdrive.
“Because no matter how sneaky you thought you were, you will never be able to play with the big dogs.” And with those parting words and nausea in my throat, I rip off the wig and let my long hair drop, ripping off the eyebrows and sideburns and tossing them at Brick’s feet. “You,” I say in my own voice through the gasps and OMGs, “will never replace me.”
And also another thing that didn’t sit really well with me.
The term “bro” that was being used between them.
This man was my bro, my bestie, and my asshole amigo, whether it be when I’m wearing a bra or pretending I have a dick. This is my human.
This is it. I’m doing it. I’m doing this insane stunt so my asshole amigo, the bro to my bromance, and my own personal neighborhood demon can win this competition.
I mean I call my brother “bro”, so every time in the book one of the MC’s used that term for the other and the next minute they would kiss I cringed. Maybe this was a me problem? Idk

A funny and clever enemies to lovers romance that all began with a prank war. Sebastian and Valentina have a complicated relationship. You’ll enjoy this modern tale about a couple and their quest for online notoriety.
I adored sassy Valentina. This girl could give as good as she got. She was a formidable opponent and pushed Bash as far as she could.
A few months prior they had a prank war and it made their social media status soar. That war ended in Sebastian's defeat and they parted ways. They had been friends, but then something broke them apart. Their relationship suffered and so did their online careers. Valentina has moved on, but Bash wants that life in the spotlight.
Sebastian has a new idea to get back what they lost. He wants them to pretend to be together romantically so that they can enter a contest for social media. He thinks they can win and re-establish their top dog status online. Sounds like a great plan but he forgot how much he misses his friend and he underestimated his ability to control his attraction. Things are about to get HOTTTT!
I love the way this story was told between the flashbacks and rehashing of their relationship to a third party. As always the author gave us witty banter with some laugh out loud moments. Bash is more than I expected and was easy to love. Valentina was so much fun and a really sweet girl. And her grand gesture in the end will reveal a plot twist you never saw coming. Another great read by the author to brighten your world.

Subscriber Wars is a standalone enemies to lovers book! Kristy Marie is an amazing writer, her work never fails to disappoint me. This book was again amazing, it made me laughs much at the fights and comebacks Valentina and Sebastian had.
From the moment I open this book, I knew I was going to fall deeply in love with it. Bash and Vee (their nicknames) were very famous for their war pranks on an app called MyView, they constantly posted all the pranks they did on each other. Later, we see both going into a contest as a pretend couple to win a million dollars, this was where we see the undeniable chemistry just building up and the sexual tension.
The book shows their interviews whilst competing in this contest back and forth, the questions were really something else! Both bash and Vee were going all in, trying to make one another feel uncomfortable or embarrassed.
Their chemistry was fire!!! Kristy really made me feel jealous, I want someone like Sebastian. Sebastian was a cocky yet charming man who would swoon any girl with his perfect dimples *including his mortal enemies*
Valentina was the girl of every guy's dream! She was never afraid to back away from any challenge even if that challenge had Sebastian the playboy and heartbreaker written all over it. She really went all in and gave Sebastian an actual competition in subscriber wars. Also within this book, we got to see glimpses of my all-time favourite Maverick in this book!
A perfectly imperfect love romantic comedy that has originality written all over the book. Between the small bickering and flirtatious love story, we see the softness that the playboy Sebastian has towards Valentina. They had each other’s back no matter how much they tried to make themselves believed that they were enemies. The book had an unexpected ending that really left my mouth hanging! I literally screamed..... they say keep your friends close but enemies closer!
Without spoiling this book, everyone go and grab yourselves a ✨lime popsicle✨ to cool your body down whilst reading the extremely hot scenes between the two! I was actually so sad when the book was coming to an end as I just wanted to keep reading! Kristy’s writing style really has this effect.

This book is a fun, hilarious, sexy and original story that will surprise you in the best of ways! Kristy Marie has yet again created a unique and laugh out loud story with characters who you will fall in love with. The story of Sebastian "Bash" and Valentina "Vee" will pull you in from the first pages and you will be addicted. It is a unique story-telling that leaves you turning the pages faster and faster to find out "the secret" and wondering how this push and pull relationship between them will end up. Needless to say, there are a lot of fun pranks, some anticipated side characters who you will not get enough of and leave you wanting more, cameos from our beloved CiB crew, and sweet, sexy and angsty scenes between Bash & Vee.
I loved every side of Bash-hole...his cocky and confident charming ways to his boyish grin and dimples to his jerky pranks. He is so lovable and deserved his HEA!!! I loved that we saw a deeper side to Bash's insecurities that he tries to hide, and his story reflected the true meaning of family, unconditional love, and chasing after your dreams. Vee is just as feisty as her mom and as compassionate as her dad. I loved every scene she was in...her witty banter, her friendship with Aspen and the guys, and her genuine love and nurturing nature with Bash. She was made to love this guy!!
This book will have you laughing out loud, wanting to play poker with the guys, swooning over Bash and wanting more of every single character in this book!! Vee & Bash were a refreshing read - fun-loving, passionate and oh so real! Bravo Kristy Marie for yet another fabulous and brilliant read! Can't wait for more to come from these characters!

This was a unique enemies to lovers with lots of banter, steam and fun! Or was it a fake relationship read? Well, we got some of both and some pranks thrown in to sweeten the deal. We got a great glimpse into the lives of Sebastian and Valentina.. better known as Bash-hole and Vee. The back and forth between these two was great! These nosy neighbors only thought they hated each other. Perfect story of how hate can turn into lust and evolve into love.
The pranks they pulled on each other were fun, but the ultimate prank was the cherry on top! I loved the build up to the reveal of what it was! I'm not sure if the story would have had the same punch if had been spilled too early. I had NO idea what it was while I was reading.
It was a refreshing and comical take on a couple of college kids just trying to be the best at what they do. So glad I picked this up. It was exactly what I had hoped it would be!

Entertaining. Refreshing. Hilarious. Fun. Subscriber Wars checked off so many boxes. Right off the bat I was sucked into the hilarity that came from all the antics courtesy of Valentina and Sebastian. Can’t stop, won’t stop, that’s exactly how I felt when reading and I didn’t intend to until I reached the end.
Valentina and Sebastian have a complicated relationship. For a long time these two played pranks on each other which brought them a slice of fame on the MyView app. But after one of them took a certain prank too far they’ve since then stopped talking to one another. A once in a lifetime opportunity arises in which they’ll both need the other for help when entering a MyView competition. They must try to put the past behind them and work together even if they can’t stand the sight of each other. And the real kicker is that Sebastian proposes that he and Valentina be in a fake relationship which will up their chances in winning. The real question is how long can these two “fake” it for so long.
Vee and Bash brought it all. I was gobsmacked by these two. I loved their witty banter and their push and pull was just finger licking good. And dear lord their sexual tension had me jonesing, I couldn’t wait until they finally gave into the undeniable chemistry they had. There was so much more to both Valentina and Sebastian though and the way they connected to one another emotionally meant so much and brought more to their relationship. I loved these two so so much.
Subscriber Wars had an enemies-to-lovers vibe wrapped in the biggest romantic comedy bow. A sweet and sexy read filled with so many swoony moments. A touch emotional with a whole lot of tenderness. I fell deeply for Valentina and Sebastian’s exciting, adventurous, and fun loving romance.

5 Clickbait Crowns
Do you ever go into a book and instinctively know you are going to love it? From the moment you open it you feel like you have come home, and these characters are apart of you? Well, this book was that for me. I fell into the story with an ease that doesn’t happen often and devoured it cover to cover in one sitting. Kristy has conceived absolute magic with these characters and this world that she has so meticulously crafted.
Bash and Vee will have you laughing out loud with their sarcastic banter and their undeniable chemistry that pours from the pages at every turn. You never know what’s going to happen between these two and the unique way that Kristy has created this story will have you dying to know the big secret that holds you captive as you blow through page after page of this hilarious read. I could not get enough of Bash and Vee, it seemed like every moment with them was better than the last and seeing it all play out was utterly addictive.
Since IOU I wondered what Bash was truly going to be like, you only got to see as the perpetually happy prankster that didn’t seem to let anything get him down. But seeing him in this book showed him in a different light and I’m here to say I love Every. Single. Thing about him! This pain that he hides will tug at your heart strings and when you find out one of his secrets it will leave you in a puddle on the floor because of the sweetness of it. I think I may like him more than Maverick, sush don’t tell. But what I loved the most was his dynamic with Vee, I absolutely fell in love with these two.
I loved Vee she is smart, funny, sassy and she does not let anyone tell her what to do. Her strength is evident in the fact that she has The Bennett brothers as personal bodyguards, yet she is still her own person. She could have just done the easy thing and listened to their overbearingness, but she doesn’t. She has her own mind and she isn’t afraid to use it. I loved that she never backed down from Bash when they were at war, she was right there attempting to out do him at every turn. And I think that’s why they are so good together; they are so similar in so many ways and it shows in the ease that they have with each other.
This book is without a doubt a top 2020 read for me. Kristy has outdone herself with this next generation and I cannot get enough of it! The way she filters old CIB characters throughout will have you wanting to do rereads of all the OG’s. And the pure joy she elicits from her stories will leave you with a huge smile on your face. I can’t tell you how many times I laughed out loud or nearly melted under the steam that poured from the pages. But either way this story will without a doubt entertain you and leave you happier than when you started. I can’t wait to see where she takes us next, but I am here for the ride!!

This pain that he hides will tug at your heart strings and when you find out one of his secrets it will leave you in a puddle on the floor because of the sweetness of it. I think I may like him more than Maverick, sush don’t tell. But what I loved the most was his dynamic with Vee, I absolutely fell in love with these two.
I loved Vee she is smart, funny, sassy and she does not let anyone tell her what to do. Her strength is evident in the fact that she has The Bennett brothers as personal bodyguards, yet she is still her own person. She could have just done the easy thing and listened to their overbearingness, but she doesn’t. She has her own mind and she isn’t afraid to use it. I loved that she never backed down from Bash when they were at war, she was right there attempting to out do him at every turn. And I think that’s why they are so good together; they are so similar in so many ways and it shows in the ease that they have with each other.
This book is without a doubt a top 2020 read for me. Kristy has outdone herself with this next generation and I cannot get enough of it! The way she filters old CIB characters throughout will have you wanting to do rereads of all the OG’s. And the pure joy she elicits from her stories will leave you with a huge smile on your face. I can’t tell you how many times I laughed out loud or nearly melted under the steam that poured from the pages. But either way this story will without a doubt entertain you and leave you happier than when you started. I can’t wait to see where she takes us next, but I am here for the ride!!

Wow! This is another original story from this author. Her talent for storytelling is incredible. You can’t help but to fall helplessly in love with her characters.

Her writing style is crafty, witty, engaging and down-right exceptional. I am 100% in love with her books. Each book is better than the one before. Each book has depth, complexity and originality. ALL her characters are amazing and you will love them all.
So, Subscriber Wars is a standalone and part of a series. They are next generation to her Commander in Briefs series. You don't have to read those books prior but I promise you will have an even better reading experience if you do. Subscriber Wars is Valentina and Sebastian's story. This book has a myriad of emotions throughout. Angst being first and foremost. Wit, snark, humor, and sexiness is in abundance as well. This book is thorough and entertaining and for me, it will be hard to knock it off the pedestal I have placed it on.
Unfortunately, I cannot tell you anything about the book other than it's fantastic. The story/drama unfolds with each chapter and culminates with a fantastic and unpredictable ending. Those two epilogues? Priceless!
Vee and Sebastian have incredible chemistry. One of my favorite aspects of this book is having both H/h perspectives. So happy I could be inside both their heads. Vee is a unique heroine; I adored her personality and the way she owned up to her mistakes. Sebastian was another amazing character. His persona is willful, arrogant, and sexiness oozes from him. And yet he is not perfect. Sebastian also doesn't run from his mistakes. But there are things he does want to run away from. That aspect gives the book depth. Kristy has left me once again mesmerized with her witty and brilliant masterpiece. I am so hooked.
Kristy Marie is known for her witty beautiful addictive tales and this is book is no exception. In true Kristy style she wows her readers and makes them remember why they love reading in the first place. This book was so addictive. I lived for the humor and the sexual tension which made for a book that was unputdownable.
Sebastian and Valentina dislike each other with great passion. They constantly bicker and fight in the form of pranking each other. It's an in going battle between them which made them famous. They upload their pranks and different videos on MyView but lately they have been losing followers because their haven't been much videos of them together. But a recent video has sparked an insane idea on how they can give their followers what they want and in the process they will win a large amount of money. That's how they become a couple ruling MyView with their sweet and not real romance. But the more time they spend together, the harder it is to keep their hands off of each other. The sexual tension becomes unbearable and causes them to snap. But theirs still something keeping them from truly being together and Sebastian has plans that he has no intention of changing.
Sebastian and Valentina were so adorable and extremely hot together. They were so blind to the feelings they had towards each other. This couple made me addicted to their awkwardly adorable romance and the way they desperately tried to fight their feelings yet still craving each other. She outsmarted me, and I hate that it turns me on.
Subscriber Wars was an anticipated release for me and Kristy Marie didn’t let me down. I inhaled this book from start to finish, with tears in my eyes and my stomach hurting from laughing so much.
I absolutely loved the plot of this story. It’s nice to read something that is original and you can’t guess what is the big twist is. The pranks were hilarious and I felt myself being immersed into a world where I wished I was a part of it.
Why did she have to come into my life and make me see myself differently?

I absolutely love Kristy Marie books so it was no surprise that I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!
Subscriber Wars is light, fun and had me constantly giggling out loud. If you have read the Commander in Briefs series, then you will see a few familiar names. In my opinion, It feels a little like Commander in Brief's next gen!!!

Reading Subscriber Wars reminded me why I love reading enemies to lovers!!!! Kristy Marie totally nailed this one! I literally couldn’t keep the smile off my face! Sebastian and Valentina had smoking hot chemistry from the very first chapter and I loved the two of them and their prank wars with each other. Filled with witty banter, quirky characters, and steamy scenes - Subscriber Wars is easily a top read for me this year! 2020 has been super crazy and this book definitely helped take my mind off all of that and just enjoy an amazing book!

I don’t know how Kristy Marie does it, but she continually outdoes herself with each new book. Subscriber Wars has officially taken its rightful place as my favorite book yet. The chemistry and banter between Sebastian and Valentina is off the charts. It drew me in and kept me there until the final words. In the crap show that is 2020, Subscriber Wars was the exact thing I needed to lift my spirits and help me escape to a better world. I can’t WAIT to see what she has in store for us next!

After saying that, I did NOT feel like I was missing anything or was lost or confused by anything in Subscriber Wars.

Valentina and Sebastian are neighbors and when were introduced to them they are have a history. They used to have a plank war between them that was taken a step too far which ruined any kind of friendship they had. Now they have to work together in order to win a big web competition that will help Vee make a name for herself and Sebastian the funds to move to Cali and start over. They decide to film themselves in a fake relationship to give the viewers what they want. Like most fake relationship the feelings between them are real and in the end will winning be all they expected it to be.
"Why does this girl make everything around me so damn complicated? Even breathing seems hard when she's near."
Kritsy Marie never disappoints with her female characters. They are always rough around the edges and relatable. I could see myself being friends with Vee, sign me up for popcorn and cheesy horror flicks. While I didn't love Sebastian at first, he was a d*ck, he won me over with his cinnamon roll center. Together though they were endlessly entertaining. There was a perfect combination of sarcasm, pranks, sweet moments and sexual tension. The sexual tension also led up to a very satisfying climax that completely fit the characters.
"You drive me mad," he growls out between nips as I leave a trail of marks from my grip on his shoulders. "Ditto."
I think what's keeping me from giving this a higher rating is the fact that we aren't started at the beginning of their relationship. We seem to be dropped in the middle. We don't learn about what happened to cause their initial fall out until the end. And when the way its revealed seemed to be a bit muddled and I took a moment to figure out what the hell was happening.
Overall, Subscriber Wars is another successful book by Kristy Marie that will no doubt entertain any romance reader.

I loved the Commander in Briefs series so much and loved how this new generation is linked to that series.
This book was fun and gave me a good few giggles as well as made me almost scream in frustration wanting Sebastian and Valentina to get together!
This was a great, modern read and is cleverly written and played out.

Kristy Marie delivered a sweet, spicy, swoony, sexy and 200% entertaining enemies to lovers romance in Subscriber Wars. My face is hurting and stomach is aching from laughing and smiling too much. My heart is full with every kind of warm glowing emotions! This was just so dreamy and hard core feel good romantic.
Sebastian and Valentina have been at the great war of pranks for months now and they have become really famous in MyView app with their funny videos. But Valentina took it a bit too far with her last prank and their war came to an abrupt end without anyone knowing the reason. Now the same service is hosting a competition with one million dollar prize money and Sebastian proposes to Valentina to join forces together to win it. Fake relationship while they hate each other. But we all know hate and love has a fine line.
First, this story is HILARIOUS. Like I couldn't control snort laughters and LOL moments kind of funny. I always feel rom coms are actually hardest as making readers spontaneously laugh through words cannot be easy. But Kristy Marie does it so easy. Second, the freaking chemistry between Sebastian and Valentina was pure gold. No, pure platinum. Sebastian is actually a very nice and kind guy but I love his cocky, sexy, smirking, charming, witty and gorgeous as sin self too! Inside this colourful guy lives an unsure and complex guy who never came out. Except with Valentina. Now this girl is the epitome of cool. Like I cannot imagine being any more smartass, fierce, sassy, talented and all out loving. Their connection swings from one extreme to another. And their bond sit on a delicate line drawn by them. They are so badly in love but too stubborn to admit that they have fallen for their enemies. And to mess up things, they end up doing more complicated things. Kristy Marie teased me with almost kiss moments. She put me through slow burn hell. And damn I loved it! They bickered and fought like mortal enemies yet always supported each other and had other's back in moments of crisis. They went to extremes to one up but also shared an intimate bond that pulled them through some darkest times. It was the ultimate partnership.

This book was soo good!! I loved Bash and Vee, especially their banter and video wars.
Sebastian and Valentina were amazing, I just wanted them to be together. From the beginning I wanted to read what went down between those 2 and I really enjoyed the story and their hate/love relationship. Vee was a badass and I loved how she always had something to say or do to Bash.
I loved Sebastian too, he seemed like a tough guy but he only wanted his family to be proud of him.
That ending was amazing too, I loved reading about all the families together and how everyone supported each other.
Kristy did an incredible job with this book and I can’t wait to read more of her in the future.

To say that I love this phenomenal book is such an understatement.
I was so immersed in this witty, romantic, and entertaining story that I found myself watching the sunrise to postpone having to put it down.
This was one of those magical books where every page turn was both a blessing, as the story unfolds and a heartbreak, being one page closer to the end.
As always, Kristy managed to hook me from the first page (or actually from the dedication) with her exception writing, fresh and original story and well developed characters, completely captivating me.
I am waiting with bated breath for Aspen and Bennet's book, and it really can't get here fast enough.

Every time I read a Kristy Marie book, I don’t think I can possibly like it more than the last one and claim it’s because it was my favorite! Well folks, it happened again! New favorite book! Hilarious, surprising, sweet and so much MORE! She definitely did it again and I couldn’t be happier with how this one turned out!!!! Cannot wait for her next creation!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is a clever take on a new adult, fake relationship and enemies to lovers story. Valentina and Sebastian college students and neighbors who were once friends. They pranked each other for their MyView subscribers and Vee took it too far. Coming back from that is proving to be difficult for Sebastian who has an inferiority complex from his family. To win a film competition at their university, Vee and Sebastian, the 2 biggest MyView stars, decide to team up for the prize, split the money, and go their separate ways....But at what point are they not faking it anymore? This was a funny, sweet, hea that I thoroughly enjoyed! I received and ARC in exchange for an honest review.
