The Mysterious Affair at Agatha Christie’s first novel featuring one her most famous and long-running characters, Hercule Poirot, Belgian detective extraordinaire. 2- Using this to keep track of these 3 Hercule Poirot books as I read them in Spanish (while listening to the audiobooks)
So far I have read
1) Asesinato en el campo de golf (The Murder on the Links) - 5-3-25 to 5-15-25
Love the narrator of the Spanish audiobook - Nathanael Echegaray
2) El Asesinato de Roger Ackroyd (The Murder of Roger Ackroyd) 5-15-25 to 5-25-25
Nathanael Echegaray does a great job narrating this book in Spanish as well
Christie's writing in English is a bit old fashioned (as part of the time & place setting of the stories), so I’m wondering if the Spanish translation captures that & maybe I’m learning some out of date Spanish expressions, but I found the Spanish versions very enjoyable. I plan to continue with additional Christie Spanish translations
