My angel, my rabbit, and my troublemaker.

The right thing to do is to send them packing. But I’ve never been a good man or a selfless one.

They are my boys and I will end anyone who dares to take them away.

What the heck was this? In any case, it wasn’t good.
This was nowhere near the mafia romance quality we got when Brea co-wrote the Vitale brothers.

I have to admit, despite my complaints (getting to that in a second) I still kinda ate it up.

BUT, and this is a big but. Brea def took on too much with this story. First, there was no depth—neither to the story nor to the characters. Which is a shame because this had A LOT of potential. She couldn’t pull off really getting to know all the main characters. And there are FOUR! It was all surface level. And don’t even get me started on the storyline itself. In the end it felt like half of the story was missing. Not only for the part of that whole mafia-family-drama, that felt just super fucking rushed but also the boys' background was missing completely even though it was hinted that there def was a story to tell. Beginning with who tf these three really are and why they ran away from home at fifteen.

I feel like giving three stars is too generous for how I feel about it but two just seem too harsh. But (yes, another one). It’s the holidays. So generous it is.

Why did I not read the blurb of this before jumping in? I was trying to figure out why the hell there were so many POVs until I started reading and realized that duh, it's a poly situation😭

This was my first book by this author and I'm not disappointed. It was a hottt, crazy, sweet read and just what I needed as a palate cleanser between heavier books!!

Besides some editing issues, I had fun with these guys. Elio was everything I love in mafia men (sexy, dominant, possessive but caring and very unhinged). The boys were all unique and individualized so they did not blur together!

I definitely think that this book, like some others in the series so far, could have been deeper and more fleshed out but I'm taking them for what they are- fast, fun, ridiculous, spicy reads🔥

Unexpectedly Good

Truthfully, I didn’t know what to expect but this was super good.

Sure, there were some things that made me giggle in disbelief (i.e, the STAMINA 🤣) but I really enjoyed it for what it was.

Excessively filthy and bloody. 😍😍😍
Elio, psychopath, killer and possessive sex monster.

Nothing on this earth would survive if I ever lost one of them. I’d burn it all down.

He manages, despite his lack of emotions, to be a loving Daddy to the three boys who have run away from home and struggle to survive in reality. Calvin, Dar and Sayge are very different characters, which makes it very interesting.
The whole book largely consists of nothing but sex and violence. Elio is more than once covered in the blood of his victims, but the three boys don't mind. I thought it was nice that there was no drama about it and the three boys accepted him like that.

Elio stood up straight.
“Was wondering what you would look like tied up and covered in blood.”
What the hell? I dropped my hands and stared at him, waiting for Elio to tell me it was a joke.
“It would be hot and sticky.” Elio licked his lips.
“You’re a psychopath, aren’t you?” I laughed.
Elio was calm as he smiled at me. It was frightening and thrilling. “I like to think I’m creative.” He winked at me, and I swear to the heavens that my cock jumped.

Two things bothered me, unfortunately, because the story is very well written and immediately captivates you.
At first there were condoms and then suddenly there were not, although there was nothing in the plot to the change. Two months go by without you noticing anything about it. So it is left to the reader to assume that Elio doesn't just give up condoms from one moment to the next. That does not make me happy.
And as far as the plot is concerned, there is clearly potential for expansion. The backgrounds of the three boys are unfortunately only hinted at, but never really fleshed out. That's a shame, it makes everything less complete.
So overall a nice quick smutty story for in between, but unfortunately nothing more.

I'm giving this book 3.25⭐, but I feel like objectively this would probably go for 4⭐ for the majority of Daddy lovers, but I had a few issues with it, so I can't rate it more.

The story was a bit darker than the rest in the series and dealt with a psychopath Daddy who found his 3 boys to love.

🟢 #7 in the Ruthless Daddies series
🔵 MMMM
🟣 Daddy + 3 besties; Daddy/boy
🌶️ Spice good, but more MMMM scenes could be on-page; t/bbb
🟡 Daddy has a mental illness, but it isn't much talked about

I've never read MMMM before, so I was really excited about the dynamic and the spice in this story, especially since we're dealing with only one top.

Elio was an interesting Daddy, just the right amount of psycho and possessive, and yet at the same time very caring and devoted, I absolutley loved that about him.

Calvin, Dar and Sayge were besties, who were also intimate with each other, although not much is said about them having sex with each other.

Elio, who's a hitman of the Laureati mafia family, offers them a nice sum of money for one night of sex.

They have an amazing time together and the guys walk away, thinking that's the end of that, while Elio can't get the guys out of his head and is quite predictably stalking them, so when they end up without a place to stay, they turn to Elio, who takes them in and plans to never let them go.

🔵 A few things that have ruined this story for me. One being the obvious preference this Daddy had for one of the friends and was spending the majority of time kissing him and having sex with him.

The very much left out Calvin was a natural submissive and I honestly thought Elio will get a very personal relationship with him, at least much more emotional than it was, but he was often left out.

🌶️ What went on in their house sexually wasn't written beyond that first sex scene, so if you're hoping for filthy quad sex chapters, you won't get it. It is said they have sex, but we're not in on it, Elio does have sex once with each of them and in the end they have a quick group sex, but that's it.

Quite underwhelming, I might add. I wanted more intimacy, more of their time together, especially since Elio seemed to be a disturbed loner, a person with a very sad, terrible past, and when he finally found his 3 people to love, well, I expected more.

He oftentimes thought of chaining the boys up and I was wondering, what was up with that? You can't just throw that in there and not elaborate. I don't think enough was said about Elio.

Rememberable characters, a potentially very good, passionate dynamic that could've been even better and not enough of on-page quadruple sex.

I really wanted for them all to find that domestic bliss where they're all equally involved with Daddy and Elio is happy and calm, finding not only love but having a true home with his boys.
I know that was the end goal of the story, but I didn't feel like it happened. I think we didn't quite reach that complete happy ending.

Well... well... Ok, to be honest, I'm not sure what to think about this book.

Things I liked:
♢ somehow I couldn't put it down,
♢ Daddy Elio.

Things I could do without:

♦ it was too short to give enough time for 4 MCs, so the boys felt underdeveloped and one-dimensional,
♦ the book felt rushed.

I don't regret reading it, but if you're looking for a spicy menage, I wouldn't recommend it.

You gotta get used to my blabbering about how much I love these women's mafia hot daddies books. The writing style is sooooo my type and the characters turn me inside out from the very first chapters. I'm in so much love!!!!! And it's not even about the smut, it's just the whole book gives a certain vibe that hits the right spot.

This book was pretty average for me. I liked that there was a strong foundation between the three friends/boys, and that it carried over into their relationship with Elio. I also appreciated that Elio was mindful that each of the three had different needs, and thus individualized each connection accordingly. However, I reached the 75% mark and was shocked because it felt like nothing had happened. There was a lot of sex, and most of it was pretty hot, but everything else felt very surface-level. There was a glimpse into each character's backstory, but I wish it had been done so with more depth. Overall, I both enjoyed this and was a bit disappointed by it.

This was a hard book to rate. I enjoyed it well enough, but felt like it was too short for a book that had 4 people in a poly relationship. I get that it’s also a dark-ish mafia romance but something also felt like it was missing. Another thing that brought my rating down was the amount of typos. There were a ton of them. One of the typos combined two words that were supposed to be cell phone into cellophane. I was like what the hell is ringing cellophane 😂. The author also repeatedly used the word caulked instead of cocked when referencing cocking a gun. I feel like maybe the author used voice to text and so it picked up “caulking gun” instead of cocking a gun. It was a good enough mafia romance for the authors first attempt.

I devoured this book!! The characters were absolute perfection. Three young men, struggling to survive, wind up with the Daddy of their wildest dreams. It's far from conventional but the chemistry between Elio and these boys is ridiculously HOT! The intensity of their attraction is swoonworthy in the way that they obsess and want to completely own each other. Ten out of ten...would read it again!

I don't usually like to read a book with more than 2 MCs, but Elio Laureati is one hell of a Daddy. He can actually be the perfect Daddy for 3 very different boys. All 3 boys have different distinct personalities and Elio can fulfill each of their needs beautifully. Elio is chef's kiss.

**********Possible Spoilers***********
I can tell you that Elio was on another level ruthless. He was made into what he was but he loved his boys. The story was gritty but with plenty of hot, steamy scenes. I wanted the story to be longer and there definitely was the old man that I wanted taken out as well. I wanted to watch more of Elio's transformation as he recognized what love really was.

This book was on fire! So very hot. Elio is that kind of crazy that you want to back away slowly but just can't... and the way he takes care of his boys... swoon. If you love Onley James' Mulvaney series, you will absolutely fall for Elio and his boys.

Another one I forgot to review. Its been a week. Just re-read the blurb. I remember this one. The MC was all in but it made me cringe at how carefree he was with the guys thinking no one would hurt them. The boys felt almost like triplets. A package deal and always together, the only difference was their nicknames. Nice little MMMM.

« Prends tes affaires. On s'en va. »

« Quoi ?

Calvin m'a regardé, puis Dar.

« Venez. Je dois prendre mon sac et me changer. »

« Oui.

« On galère depuis plus longtemps qu'on vit. » Je me suis levée. « Il est beau, il a de l'argent, et… »

» demanda Dar.

« Allons-y. »

I had to fight my own hand from giving this 5 stars. I have to draw the line somewhere, right. This was an unexpected i don't know what to call it - absolute freaking joy. I was looking for something dark and miserable and gritty and soul destroying and instead I got this intensely fantastic adorable loving slightly murderous kinda bloody perhaps a bit unhinged but thoroughly enjoyable and completely perfect book that introduced me to the term CUDDLE PILE!!!
Not to mention how many times each of us came, he should be passed the hell out in bed with us. I vaguely remembered pulling him into a cuddle pile, and I groaned as the memory tried to resurface.

This book is literally about a killer and the three hot guys he decides to take ownership of so how can you really go wrong I guess. Oh yeah, and they call him Daddy.
“What do we call you?” Calvin asked.

“Tonight, Daddy.” Fuck yes.

Elio, a mafia hit man, is a master at flirting as you can see:
Elio stood up straight. “Was wondering what you would look like tied up and covered in blood.”

I also realized I can't get enough of the "wrapped legs and carried"!!! This cannot get cuter I swear to God!
I shifted Sayge on my back so that I supported him with one arm only. “Come on, rabbit.” A goofy smile appeared on Calvin’s face, and he jumped up and wrapped his legs around me, hooking them with Sayge’s. He laid his head on my other shoulder, and I supported him with my free hand.

Ultimately Elio proved that he would truly do anything for his boys just as he promised; the ultimate "touch them and die".
This is not a fluffy romance, don't get me wrong. This is 4 men, blood, murder, kink, torture, mafia, many unsavory things but I thought it was absolutely adorable and again, CUDDLE PILE!!!!

I had so much fun with this one. It was violent, hot, and very sweet.

My biggest issue with this though was which is more of a me thing, honestly that Sayge never grew on me. Right from the beginning I liked Calvin and Dar, ESPECIALLY Dar with his teasing, troublemaking ass - ugh loved him - but I was indifferent to Sayge. The only time I felt some kind of fondness for Sayge was when he called Elio. Even when Elio had individual scenes with each of the boys, nothing, and by the end I was annoyed. I do think he would've grown on me if the 3 boys and their relationships with each other and stories had more depth.

Overall, though, it was a good and fast possessiveness galore smutty read.

The first group scene was definitely the best scene.

I'm in a dark-romance-era (yes, again), and I'm working through the Mayhem Universe (including authors as such as Skylar Snow and Brea Alepoú). This universe includes the Mafia Daddies series, the Vitale Brothers series (which I've read), The Hitters MC series, and a few standalones (which were actually part of different multi-author series). Here's Brea Alepoú's "Savage." It's part of the (multi-author) Ruthless Daddies series.
["Blood, Sweat, and Tears.

Holy. Shit. What a meet-cute. Well, is it a meet-cute if it’s in a seedy strip club with a four-way-insta-lust and heavy, heavy heat less than an hour after meeting? Either way, their first meeting (well, the first time Dar, Calvin, and Sayge met Elio) was also instant chemistry and that feeling of meeting your soul mate(s), knowing This was right, This was your future, no matter how crazy or fast it sounded.

These four were...fabulous. Utterly wholesome in the depravity.

Though, I’m not entirely sure how it fits into the rest of this story/timeline. Then again, I read the Vitale Brothers so long ago, not sure how they tied into the Bianchi Family either. Maybe there’s a subtle mentioning of each other or maybe they just coexist in the same theoretical universe. Which ever way, I’m here for it.

Trigger Warnings: past child neglect, past child abuse, mention of PTSD, slight mind break, homophobia, offensive slurs, violence, torture, on-page self-harm, death, mention of drugs, death of an animal in the form of a memory, and more.
