Finally finding herself and gaining confidence after having a hard young life, Kimone goes off to find herself in the world only to find herself in the same area as a childhood bully that made her life hell. What will come of the two when they end up in each others lives again?
"I can't not have you in my life. I can't have you hating me. I was a stupid ass kid."
"I don't hate you," she quickly responds. I look up to meet her eyes finally. She doesn't? That's a start I suppose. "I feel sorry for you."

Hey, Amateur author here with four books on amazon. I started writing as a hobby right after my grandmother died. I would be up late all night and I decided to do something to keep me busy. I have always been a fan of reading, so one of those long nights, I said hey, let me try my hand at writing. It turns out I was actually good at it and people liked what I had to write down. This has been a journey putting out these books, I won't lie. Thank you for taking the time to look into my work!
I don't know where to began, kimmy was a head case & insufferable with the needy, whining & crying all the time. The over the top sassy black girl trope was so overdone you would think a nonblack person wrote this. It felt like parody of how people think black women act. Having these white characters using black vernacular was so cringe I can't even describe it. Problem is the author didn't know who they wanted kimmy to be. She was this shy insecure virgin while also tweaking & giving lap dances & talking about male body parts all the time. It made no sense. Kimmy changed when it suited the story so she was all over the place. How she dealt with the endless racism was strange too. She was being catty with chloe like her racism wasn't a big deal. Sassiness cannot be a black character whole personality. One minute kimmy was acting like she was sixteen, next she was talking like she was thirty. I read this author other book & liked it but this one was terrible. Also try to write black heroines without acting like they are butt ugly while everyone else around them is gorgeous. It's silly. Kimmy never questioned if Noah was racist even though he made racist comments when they were kids. Kimmy was so pathetic, this story felt like someone's specific fantasy about white men & that was super corny. I've read interracial romances that aren't this desperate & try hard. Kimmy acted like an idiot when they first met like she's never seen a man before.
There's nothing good about it. It's not worth your time.
There were numerous grammatical errors in the book and the dialogue was completely unintelligible.
This one can be forgotten. There was nothing exciting about this story, it was dreadful!
No editing has been done to it, so it reads like a first draft. She writes in the same way as she speaks.
It's not a book I recommend unless you want to torture yourself or I'm not fond of you.
You're better off keeping your cash, it's not worth it. It took me some time to force myself to finish it, but after some time I forced myself to finish it just to write this review.
It would be nice if I could give the books 0 stars, but it's not possible, so I give them 1 star.
Man, I wanted to cum myself, this is just to hot 🥵, and horney. You literally needs a toy, partner someone with you while you read this to help get you off. Okay some of Kimmy issues had me crying and ready to whip peoples a$$. Glad when Noah start showing he had balls to. And let’s not forget the crazy, fun loving Adria, I love this chic she had me laughing so hard. This is a great story to read.
Can i first say how happy I am that this author knows her Soca? And the mention of our Caribbean Bae Dexta Daps was the icing on the cake for me. This is my second book by TellmeMore and I’m not disappointed. I’ll continue to follow this author and her work because it’s just that good
This book was something I was so excited for this book and it lived up to the hype for all of 20% of the book then it went down hill and let me tell you why !
First off kimmy… if there is one trope I hate more it’s a weak woman trope and wishy washy cause that’s what she was and it pissed me off to the fullest I still don’t understand why she always was mulling and crying all the time like girl you don’t want to take the meds you so desperately need but then shut everything and everyone out…she was just so weak and at the beginning of the book I knew she might have some self esteem issues but not like this…for one anytime Noah ex Chloe tried anything with him she blamed him when it was clear time after time the girl couldn’t take a hint and it wasn’t until the end where she slapped the dog shit out of Chloe that she got the hint kinda and left them alone. And as if to ever compare Ricky’s b*tch ass to Noah was an insult in its own… lmao I could right a whole essay really
Also BLACK WOMEN TROPE!!! yea this made me mad cause the author threw every stereotype about a black woman and but it in the book and don’t get me wrong as a black woman we all can say we experience something’s as a collective duh that’s just the modern day black experience… but this narrative was sick and made me have to re check multiple times if this boom was even written by a black author good riddance.
Now I think I’ve read this author before on wattpad so if I’m correct I know she has some good books and the other reviews say so but this just wasn’t it it failed the black women community, black women mental health community and black women plus size community
Smut was 5/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Mr.Noah hmmm…. He was alright annoying and childish , overbearing , and delusional at times let me tell you but he finally got it together and this isn’t really the story I thought it would be I mean it is but it isn’t

DNF. Got to 42%. This is a WATTpad Author...She needs to stay on there.
It was so horrible. I felt like the author was white, writing about a black woman. Kimmy was all over the place. Is she confident or shy? Does she stick up to racism or not? And Noah, is he a DOM or not? The double standard in this book was hard to swallow. Noah felt like if he didn't have Kimmy in his life, he needed to "screw" his assistant until she came home, then he gets mad when Kimmy is dancing with other guys. They were not even together at this point.
The end of the read for me was when she wanted to make Noah jealous to make him want her.... but he was your bully..... And apparently during childhood, the bullying was so traumatizing that you mentally blocked it out....but now you remember and want him anyway....with no understanding from the reader as to why the complete 180 in less than 48 hours!!!!!! I wanted to like this book because I am all about supporting Black Authors but no. Don't waste your time.
This book was so bad. I picked it up because of the name but to me it was a little misleading. There wasn’t much “bullying”. Not the type of book I typically read, unfortunately. I’m a little weird, I know.
I’ll be the first to tell you that I’m not an editor but I caught so many grammatical mistakes. I can’t believe it made it through publishing.
What bothered me the most about this story was the tone of the characters. Everyone sounded exactly the same. There weren’t different voices for each character. You know how sometimes you pick up a book and can immediately pick out whose POV you’re in. Yeah, you can’t do that here.
Such a disappointing book. I read through the whole thing just to justify my one star. It was awful but I finished.
Storyline was good, characters had depth, and I enjoyed the banter. However, the story dragged a little too long for me and if I’m being honest, in some places this book read like a wattpad dream. A few grammatical and spelling errors thrown in there as well.
Also, I understand that the fmc and her best friend are dark and have a dialect that matches, but why do the white people have the same speech mannerisms as a black or brown person? That doesn’t make sense and it is not realistic.
I only managed to read to half way through the book before I decided to give up.
Let me tell you this please read this story. Yes. there are 1% grammar errors but it does take away from the story. Don't let the reviews stop you from enjoying this story. This author has become one of my favorites. I saw her book “Forbidden” on my FB page and decided to read that story. OMG 😱 that book had me hot 😅!!!!
But I truly love the character's romance in this novel. Plus the sex scenes were hot!!!! It Had me thinking damn I'm nasty lol. But yes read this book. Don't think about just do it!!!!!!
This story is unexpected because there a lot of interesting things that happens as your read. It’s also interesting to see the characters develop and eval as the story proceeds. I enjoyed it and I loved the ending.
3.75⭐️ Usually I avoid bully romance books coz I’m not a fan of men who are mean but I gave this book a chance coz I LOVE Tellymemore. I’m so glad I gave this story a chance coz adult Noah is way better and kinder than when he was a mean kid which made it easy to finish this book
