This book is great for you if you have major goals you don't accomplish. Thibaut Meurisse provides a step-by-step process through explanations and exercises to help you gain the life you want to lead. I highly recommend reading it and working through the exercises if you have or need a grand vision for your life but aren't actually moving in that direction.
I’ve only given one or two other books one star before, so that should tell you how terrible this was. I don’t need to bash it to death, but if you want to read about focus or other areas of self-improvement, look for a book that’s not self-published.
The author is full of wisdom and it seems he used to be in my place struggling with focus and jumping from one goal to another. That he knew all the answers to the questions I’m seeking. What I like is that it consists of straight to the point tools to be used to FOCUS, and truly it is applicable the first time I started reading it. I was able to finish the book in 7 days with the application of what I have learned. What I do not like is that the examples used, especially of notable personalities sounds like heresy. But not to mind the way it was presented, it could be useful and serve as an inspiration. Overall I enjoyed the book, and look forward to use all the techniques I learned. It gave me the motivation and momentum to move forward finish my projects leading to my goal, one task at a time. Thank you Thibaut.
As a person who zones out all the time and procrastinates a lot instead of doing the actual job, this book came at the right time.
Besides the tips that author gives throughout the book, I really liked the practical part at the end of the book which helped me to understand myself better, where I could write down my current problems and reasons why I struggle with discipline, and what should I do to implement better habits.
I think this is a great read for anybody who struggles with discipline, focusing and procrastination.
I downloaded this book not expecting too much but a quick read on improving focus. I was so wrong, I found out this book is one of the best and most comprehensive book on the subject. The author was talking to me with his examples, it's like he knows me for years. I highly recommend this book to anyone whose interested to improve power of focus in his/her life.
What I loved most about this book is it’s simplicity in explaining such insightful and valuable information. I also love the way Thibaut values how much his readers get out of this book by creating an action workbook to further crystallize the information in it! I can't seem to stop reading books on this topic which is a bit of an oxymoron given whats the point of doing so if they repeat the same thing again and again.
I guess that's why I read them to see if the next one has the silver bullet to focus on!
