As soon as I opened this book, I knew Isabella. Ferrari wrote it. The sections of full colour coded pages gave it away.

I would love to see Ferrari write more in depth books about the simplified topics already published.

I appreciated the real, full colour pictures of the 50 crystals. It would have been nice to see some of the varieties too, like for agate and jasper that are so different and beautiful. The real pictures didn't clash with the book or the theme as I've seen in other books. It all flowed nicely.

The spells included were nice. I wish there were some pictures to show the crystal grids, as there were already real photos of the crystals. That would have been a marvelous addition. But there wasn't much here to really set it apart from any other crystal book. It's a nice size to carry around but without an index it's not easy to flip through quickly.

It would have been nice to see some personal recommendations for vendors so readers could feel confident in sourcing ethical minerals. I'm so used to seeing references and further reading, etc. at the back so I was a little disappointed there was zero index or source or anything.

Check your local library before you buy it. You might even find other books on the same subject that you like better or suit your journey more.

I like this book for the range of crystals covered and a handful of the spells in the back. Crystals being able to heal things like dyslexia or Parkinson's... is a huge pass for me, though. I appreciate that the author notes that crystals don't replace modern medicine and that she offers the information for those that value it. I definitely had to cherry pick though the book, though.
