Too much living it up on Bloop Island has left the residents low on food. It’s time for Coroyuki and friends to journey to other islands to find resources and meet more fun characters along the way!
Hahahhaha, this was brilliant. Silly, over the top, tons of references to the game (which I loved and now I want to grab one of my AC games and start it up again), and I just had one big fun time reading this manga and I want more volumes (please Library #1 have some more). The art was silly as well, perfectly fitting for the story. Also, LUCKY them for getting Coco. I tried SO HARD to find her, no luck. :(
This is a really cute manga for animal crossing lovers! It’s a collection of short stories about four characters and their life on their island. This book was a fun, easy read (I read it in one sitting), and it’s so cute to see so many things from the game in the form of a story :)
Once again, at the request of my daughter, here is an extremely quick read. An amusing collection of stories about the group of friends living on an island and their adventures as they learn new aspects of island living. Introduces Saharah with her rugs, floors, wallpapers, and Flick, the bug sculptor.
It will make sense if you play the game. Otherwise don't bother. Slightly amusing.
More new characters! Sahara comes and sells new flooring and wallpaper that you cannot get from Timmy and Tommy. New adventures await! The residents fight a giant snot bubble monster (🤮) and then they play spot the difference Bloop Island’s appraisal test. Flick comes to the island. Flick is an arthropod artiste. He can create a beautiful model from the bugs that are caught!

This was very enjoyable! The ways the four main characters come up with games and adventures with just basic furniture, wallpapers, and floors impressed me. I also enjoyed the hilarious drama in the middle. This series is getting more and more entertaining.
I liked when Coroyuki,Himepoyo,Benben and Guchan looked just like Rasherthe smile and the look was funny. And they were on a game show and every time they got a question wrong they had to wear a funny outfit and Coroyuki was very funny. And that’s why I liked this book.
Another fun and mystical entry in the series that further pays tribute to the video game whilst also giving the game more colour.
I loved this manga it was really fun and I couldn't help find myself laughing and smiling whilst reading each story. I honestly think that in this fourth one Rumba has really found her ground and knows what type of stories she wants to tell. I'll go through some of my likes and dislikes.
I only have one major dislike really. It might be a small dislike but I felt like the only plot point developed from issue three was the island name. I really felt like a story of the characters progressing "gameplay" was discarded for more fun gags making fun of us players.
My likes is that again Rumba really shows how much of an Animal Crossing fan she is and hilariously mocks fans and how they play. Without spoilers I can say that the story with Saharah was hilarious and super accurate to how everyone would feel about wall papers in the games. She shows she knows the fans and atmosphere of the games and it's great.
Although this series is clearly for younger fans I love how Coroyuki now has a constant adult gag in every manga issue in this series. I feel like the adult humour is kind of a way of inviting and acknowledging Older fans whilst also still gearing it to its main audience, kinda of like a compromise. I hope they continue this in future issues it's super fun.
Finally although I think the villagers cast hasn't had its full potential explored I'm glad that the cast has expanded to the point they're dynamics are now super strong with the human characters. I love the player x villagers friendships as its very accurate to the games and shows the island becoming a more tight nit community, something that we never get in the games thanks to soulless villager personalities.
Overall another amazing entry in the manga series with lots of humour, colour and personality in its pages.
And in this chaotic volume we have: Saharah's fantastic floors; a random alien invasion; discerning taste; catching bugs with Flick; epic prop comedy (which is actually pretty creative, I'll admit); CRISIS ON BLOOP ISLAND; two new villagers, and Autumn Mushroom Mania.
