This is my favorite from this series so far as Rylen and Clem's journey is so different than what we've read in the previous books. One of my favorite aspects of shifter romance is how hard it is for the fated mates to be separated, and we get to see this is Rylen and Clem as Ryle fights to show how they are meant for each other. I've enjoyed these short, sexy stories by Skye and will definitely continue reading♡

We got small preview of Rylan in the last book he smelt his mate and now we get his and Clem story.  Clementine has had a rough few years since her mom has been diagnosed and has been acting very mean, so when she visit her best friend she wish she had a mate like that.. and welp her next visit shes in for a suprise when Rylan is very alpha and already claiming her. But she does push back alittle since she cant bring her mom to the town.

So their relationship is up and down for alittle on her side.. so maybe thats why I didn't click so much with them.. it was her leaving.. i wish she would have let him stay with her or her stay longer then 3 or so hours and drive back home.. 2 hours away.

Rylan and Clem

Clem is Delaney's best friend from the previous book so it was nice to see her be the mate to Rylan. I enjoyed this book more also because there was more emotions. Clem takes care of her ill mother that is mean to her as well as work to jobs. So when her best friend found her mate Clem seems a little lost.

That only lasts for a night before she meets her own mate Rylan. Rylan was so sweet and was there for Clem during her loss.

Rylan is a loner on Ash Mountain, especially since he's a bear shifter living amongst wolf shifters. He yearns for the day he meets his fated mate. Finally that day comes when Delaney's bestie Clementine comes to town.

Clementine has a lot of stress in life and when she discovers she is Rylan's mate...well she's in! This was short, sweet, and smutty!

This was a very enjoyable story. Rylan May be the loner of the group but finding his mate has him willing to do anything to claim her and make her happy. Clem had a pretty rough go of things and she welcomed Rylan into her life even though things we’re moving extremely fast. They of course had a bump or two but they settled in beautifully.

Wish in one hand...

Clem wanted a mate, until she got one, then she didn't know what to do with him. Ryland was a little over the top, but hey... he's a bear! I loved Rylan's character! I loved that, unlike the heroes in AMP #1 & 2, he was willing to figure out what Clem. needed, not just go with what he wanted! He was a true partner.

Ash Mountain es el hogar de los metamorfos, personas que son capaces de transformarse de humanos a animales a su voluntad. La mayoría son cambiantes de lobo aunque hay uno o dos cambiantes de osos que viven en las afueras del pueblo y en este caso conoceremos la historia de Rylan, un cambiante de oso.

Algo que caracteriza a todos los metamorfos es que se la pasan buscando a su verdadera compañera, por lo que si no tienen compañera o compañero andan siempre solos y célibes.

Este es el tercer libro de la serie por lo que nos encontramos como mencioné anteriormente con Rylan, el metamorfo de oso. Él es muy callado y socialmente torpe. Trabaja en jardinería y en el invernadero.

Clementine, es amiga de Delaney que fue protagonista del libro anterior.
Clem, es humana, cuida a su madre que está muy enferma y es la razón por la que no ha podido salir de la ciudad desde que se graduó y tuvo que posponer sus sueños.
Aún así, ella y su mamá no se llevan bien.

Es una historia demasiado corta, como el primer libro, de 71 páginas por lo que todo sucede muy rápido. Todo va al grano. Hacia el final del libro te enseñan qué ha pasado 10 años después.

No hay mucho más que contar, la trama es muy sencilla y está narrada en primera persona por ambos protagonistas. Se lee en una sentada.

Este me gustó un poco más y me sacó varias risas. No sé si es porque como es el tercer libro y ya se lo que me voy a encontrar, que me entretuvo más.

Hay unas diálogos algo vergonzosos pero me ha sacado varias carcajadas.

En general, no me aburrió, es solo que es muy meh y tiene sus cosillas pero me recuerda a las historias que leía hace muchos años por eso continué con esta serie.

Nice, cute, and short. I was overdue for reading this. FMC already knows about mates and meets the MMC, they hit it off but take a few days for her to fully commit to him. FMC mom is sick and she needs to take care of her, every night FMC vists the MMC who waits on his porch every night for her to show up. She wants to go all in with him but her moms sickness is holding her back. Felt bad for the mom, she was used as a plot divorce to keep the FMC from going all in with the MMC, just something tl keep the book a little bit longer. She had maybe one line and she died in like 2 chapters we knew her, felt weird. MMC offers her to move in with her and tells her that she doesn’t need to work 2 jobs anymore and that he’ll take care of her, she agrees and they move in after mom dies. Smut was really good, actually surprised.

En fin Riley supremacy. ¿Ya dije que estoy libros son cortos y buenos? Pues lo son.

Aquí tenemos a nuestro oso grande, adorable y dedicado. Me gusta que el sea capaz de pensar en ella antes que en si mismo, no de una forma dañina sino esperando para que ella pueda ir a su propio ritmo el no intenta forzarla sino que entiende que tenía una vida antes de llegar y necesita tiempo para resolverla. Esto es suficiente para que me agrade Riley? Si que puedo decir soy fácil de ganar.

Como siempre el tema con estos libros esta en que al ser corto no puedes ahondar en algunas cosas como describir detalladamente la relación con la madre de ella pero aún así es una lectura rápida y divertida.

There are a few inconsistencies in this book, like how I know for a fact Clem went home dressed in Rylan's clothing the night before yet when he gets to her place she has to sew him some clothing from nothing? What did she do with his sweatpants and t-shirt? Throw them out? Also there is the whole house thing and having to sell it when I thought they rented it because that's what the author made it seem like... And the whole thing about the bills after she moves in with Rylan? I mean he didn't seem to have any mention of it but now she's there and mentioning in her inner thoughts how they have bills to pay which is why she's still doing work for some dry cleaners... like, really? She's driving 2 or more hours all the way back to her old shitty town for shit pay? It's just... weird. The last thing is that Rylan is a bear shifter and at the beginning it seemed like his whole mating heat took over the moment he saw her but then we are switched back to the whole mating moon thing when they finally do it. I was hoping it would've been different but nope, I guess all shifters are just the same. Oh and all his bossiness and his dominance went away when they finally had sex for the first time? Why wasn't his character consistent?

The last thing I want to mention is how the author(s) felt the need to make the mom a terrible person just so we wouldn't feel bad that Clem didn't feel guilty over her dying, or the fact that they killed her off period. Why? Clem already had a shit father who abandoned them, couldn't they just make the mom a good mom? I mean in the previous book Delaney made it seem like they were closer than in this book. I guess no one told these writers that books work better when they are consistent in the details...

Just polished off this lunchtime quickie! Seriously this is a great series. I love shifters. I love Alphas. I love insta-love in these books!!

Rylan is a bear shift, all alone. His bear wants a mate, so does he. Yet, when her scent hits him he is taken back. Following her scent to Finn's house only to find, she's not there! WTH! But she'll be back tomorrow, he can meet her then. MATE! His bear and body scream when they are near Clem. This is it for him, only she is hesitant and he fears she is rejecting him and his bear. Does she not love them? Does she not want to mate with them?

Mate? That's one way to get a girl's attention and he has it all! Clem is smitten by this gentle giant of a shifter. When she explains that she needs to go slow with him, because she has her mom to take care of - she isn't sure what his reaction will be. Rylan agrees and looks forward to seeing her. Life takes a turn and Clem needs Rylan by her side. Is he the mate she needs and wants?

Another outstanding book in this series. I enjoyed Rylan. He is a gentle giant. Quick and intense. Felt the love between Clem and Rylan from the beginning. I get that it was overwhelming for her.

I am LOVING the Ash Mountain series by Shaw! She really found a way to make her series different by having a single bear shifter in a pack of wolves.

Rylan doesn't feel like he truly fits in and tries to mostly keep to himself, to me.he came across as a total gentle giant.

Clementine being Delaney's best friend had her in Ash Mountain and aware of shifters so at least when Rylan scented her as his mate she wasn't totally shocked.

I loved that after years of taking care of her mom and working non stop, the tables were turned and Clem was spoiled and became Rylan's main focus.

I am a sucker for a shifter romance and the mated/fated pull of the couple and this book did not disappoint. I CANNOT wait for the rest of the series.

My absolute favorite book so far in this series! I love a big, awkward, alpha hero who has a vulnerable side. So damn heart-melting! And it didn’t hurt that the sexy times was kindle-melting! The best of both worlds!

Totally and completely safe, with double virgins. My only complaint is the same as last book, which was the absence of the hero telling the heroine that he’s never been with anyone else. Not sure how this has been missed in all the books thus far. How is the h suppose to know that her man has only been with her and hasn’t skanked around with others? Its a small irritation, but it doesn’t detract from the overall story.

No cheating. Heroine was verbally abused by mother, but it’s off page and is told, not shown. No ow/om drama. HEA with cute epilogue 10 years out.

Okay, it's like this, once I finished reading and reviewing 'Growling For My Mate' book one in the 'Ash Mountain Pack' series I devoured the other four one after the other. So please over look the other 4 packed into one review.

Each boom has its own synopsis/ story line. They are all full of instalove, faithful mates, with absolutely no cheating. Yes they are super sweet. But *fans self* have some very hot, steamy sex scenes. Best if all, each book has an epilogue flash forward by a time; then a 10 years in the future.

I have enjoyed a small glimpse into the Ash Mountain Pack and would be first on board to read full blown books with these characters and more.

If you more deets that make these story a whole. Your just going to have give it a read. I promise you will not be disappointed. I also noticed after the fact this series in in a box set.

Clementine in a situation many feel - struggling and a loss of hope. When you struggle so hard and you think there is light at the end & someone slams the hole shut - that's where she is at. Perhaps most can relate. The perks of being at your lowest, things can only move up \ forward. Rylan not s s beat shifter living with his friends a wild pack. Mated for life is book three in the Ash mountain pack series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. This book is Clementine and Rylan’s story who we have met before. Clementine being involved in book two as the heroines best friend.
The chemistry between Rylan and Clementine is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

So sweet and hot!!!

Rylan and Clem are adorable!!! Rylan finds his mate in Clem, Delaney's best friend and former roommate. However Clem is dealing with her mother's poor health and her horrible jobs. Rylan shows Clem he is her rock, and stands beside her through it all.Love this whole series!! Shaw Hart is a definite must read author for me!! If you love insta. love and lust no cheating safe reads I definitely recommend this author!! Her books are amazing!! Can't wait for anything she writes!!

Mated For Life

I love the entire Ash Mountain Pack series but there is something a bit more special about Rylan's story. I'm not sure if it's because he's a bear and bears are my favorite shifters or what but I connected with his character just a little bit more. Anyway Sparks fly when these two meet. Or rather when Rylan gets a whiff of Clementines scent. They have a rough road to travel to find their happily ever after. This story is 100% safe. No abuse or cheating of any kind. No ow/om drama and it is dual Virgins the way that shifters are supposed to be!! A must read!!

We have been introduced to Clementine, AKA Clen, breavily in the previous book. She is Delanie's childhood best friend, stack in her small town taking care off her horrid mother and working two jobs to be able to pay her bills. Her life completely changes when she meets Rylan, the only bear shifter in the Ash mountain. He is a loner preferring to work on his garden than socialising in town. But all that changes when he meets Clen, his fated mate. It was a ok read.
