Exploring Eden is a supernatural murder mystery style fantasy following the titular character Eden Grace as she escapes from an abusive home life in a cult and begins to find her way in “normal” society, despite seeing ghosts on a regular basis. Eden Grace has never been normal. Born into a cult, Eden starts to explore possibilities beyond demon possession as an explanation for her strange abilities when she finds herself hospitalized in a mental institution. Eden has strange dreams, visions, and sees the spirits of the dead. Faced with the possibility of returning to her tumultuous home or running into the unknown, she chooses a life on the run. Beginning her adult life, she finally begins to get some answers as she tries to unpack and set down roots. As Eden’s luck would have it, just when she begins to develop relationships with people she can trust, strange circumstances cause her to dig deeper into who she is and what is happening around her.

This novel was an exceptional read! The story is engaging and the plot is nothing like I would normally gravitate toward but I loved it! The spice was spicy but well written and not cheesy like some can be. The characters are rich and the backstory can be heartbreaking but the development is so good. The pieces just fall into place and it is really great. I absolutely loved it and I cannot wait until the next one is done!

Excellent supernatural story telling!
I truly enjoyed this book, and I hope to read more both in this world and from this author. I was delighted to read how the story pulled in it's supernatural elements.

Pacing slowed down a bit after the first couple of chapters but it picked back up. Really loved the MC's character arc. First couple of chapters read like YA, but this is definitely NA and the spice is so delicious.

This book was great! It had spice mixed with a great storyline with surprises I wasn’t expecting. Can’t wait to get my hands on book 2!
