I very much liked this prayer book. It has prayers for all types of situations. I wish it was a little better organized but really liked the different prayers. It made it easy to pick up a pre-written prayer that sometimes captures exactly what I would have wanted to say.

I have an older publication of this, circa 1967, I think. It's pretty good, but the Lutheran Book of Prayer is better.

It's kind of strange to review a prayer book, but overall I think this is a great resource to have because it offers prayers for pretty much every person in any situation. There were some I had to skip because they didn't apply to me either personally or professionally, but it's very comprehensive and a great place to start if you feel stuck in your faith journey.
