The hot alien just happen to be in the right place at the right time to rescue me.
Delaina works in a small dive serving drinks and food for the weary alien travelers. Since the crash landing on Reazus Prime, she's forged a simple survival living life day by day. That is until Carx shows up.
The green alien kidnaps her from her comfortable simple life!
The crazy thing is how did he know there would be a natural disaster coming which would have killed her. She still doesn't believe in fate, even though he insists on it.
She escapes his clutches only to end up in a worse situation.
Carx will do anything to win the affections of the stubborn terrain who stole his heart and activated the visions. If onlly he could find her.
Alien’s Power ate is a part of the Outlaw Planet Mates series but is a stand alone book. Guaranteed with a HEA, no cliffhangers, and nothing but steamy hot attraction and love.
The story itself was good but the telling was choppy. It felt like a rough draft or a story that was very quickly written and then handed off. I really like the synopsis but very quickly got frustrated with the way the author wrote. There was no real flow. It seemed as soon as the author had a thought, they through it in. One second the characters are acting one way and then the next sentence they act another way without any organic flow to why. Just a very rough layout but has potential.
This book was such a frustrating read because the author herself literally couldn't keep her details straight from one page to the next. And the plot repetition!!!! If delaina whined about being "kidnapped" or carx explained his "instinct to visit her workplace" one more time,i was going to SCREAM!! The plot spun its wheels for way too long, and barely came together even at the end. Delaina was kind of described, but not well enough, you know? And carx wasn't described at all other than being green with arm fins. That was it. And that literally was like, 60% of the way into the book. I did have a slight interest in the rizian and mariel, but i cannot read another book if it is written in the same way as this one. I just can't. My opinion only. Feel free to read and form your own. But don't say you weren't warned!
I loved this book, but it felt too choppy, like bits where missing. This book needed at least another 50 pages just here and there for extra details. And the ending was disappointing, like what was that epilogue😭and WHY did we not get an epilogue with them and their child. So mad

Alien’s Power de Eden Ember serie varias autoras Outlaw Planet Mates
Argumento:
Carx feels drawn to enter an establishment after having visions of a lovely female n the happiness they share together. When he lays eyes on his dream girl he grabs her n rushes back to his hovercraft just before flood water rushes down from the mountains n engulfs the city. Part of his visions revealed her being swept away by the flood waters, that he could not allow. Fate showed him his mate, it was up to him to protect her. He just needed to show her that he was an honorable n trust worthy alien being who cared very deeply for her. Delaina crashed in a stasis pod on Reazous Prime. Some kind aliens found her, nursed her back to health, found her a job, then went on their merry way. It was part of their nature to help those in need. Delaina had no ill feelings toward them, they helped her to adapt to the environment she found herself thrust into. She just didn't like some of the customers who entered her place of work, especially when they became touchy-feely. One day, while it was raining, a new customer came in who aroused strong feelings within her. Ones she thought she'd never experience for an alien. The next thing she knows, he picks her up, rushes from the establishment, running toward a hovercraft n strapping her in. She thinks she's being kidnapped again until he shows her the flood waters that engulfed the city. He also explained how n why he felt drawn to her, including how he saw her in his visions. Carx just doesn't know how to tell her that she's his forever mate, nor does Delaina understand why he shies away from her. She believes that he feels repulsed by her touch. One wrong decision makes her regret her actions n wish she'd listened to his advice.
Carx is an alien from Eforix who came from a wealthy family. Out of boredom, he and some of his friends fell in with a gang of pirates. They thought it was a challenge to see how rich they could become until they stopped the wrong ship. The Authority arrested them and sent them to a prison planet, Reazus Prime. The prisoners revolted and it is now an outlaw planet. Carx was on a supply run when he stopped by a bar. He sees the Terran woman Delaina and has a couple of visions. The first vision tells him she will die in a flood if he doesn't take her with him and the second one tells him she is his mate. He grabs her to his hovercraft with her fighting all the way. Somehow he will have to convince her that he saved her life and they are meant to be together.
Delaina was kidnapped from Earth by aliens and woke up in a stasis pod crashing towards an alien planet. Luckily for her a family took her in and nursed her back to health. They got her a job in a bar to support herself and then disappeared. Delaina isn't thrilled by her job but it is all she has. Delaina knows very little about life on the prison planet. One night at the bar she sees a handsome alien come in and when she sees him, she feels a connection. He positive feelings towards Carx doesn't last long when he drags her out against her will and forces her on his hovercraft. She is not certain what he plans to do with her. Then he starts telling her a ridiculous story about them being mates.

D I s j o I n t E d. This book is disjointed, and in more ways than one. First, there are little to no transitions in this book, so good luck if you start reading it. Moreover, opposing thoughts were thrown together in the same paragraph leaving you to figure it out what was meant. You also had to figure out what the setting was.
Listen, I don’t claim to be a great writer or anything but I know when I don’t like something. Unfortunately the language and phrasing in this book is one of those things. The vocabulary used was so wrong it caused a visceral reaction in me; I wanted to puke. The choices in the book made it hard to follow the plot.
There was no depth of character or character development here. There were also little to no emotions in this book, besides giggling and smiling. The characters seem disconnected from their own reality, which most likely is a result of poor planning.
Inconsistency is the only consistency in this book. If it wasn’t a character’s name (is it Tigon or Deykon?), then it was a setting (it was suddenly a hot cloudless day although it was raining just one page before), or a town name (is it Perfuga or Elieutheria?).
As for plot, nothing was redeeming. The pacing was wrong, it was boring and there was no romance. Once again we were supposed to rely on fate. I’ve read a lot of books with fated mates, and they all have romance.
This book was so bad I quadrupled the time I would normally need to finish it.

Pretty much the lowest bar thusfar, unfortunately. The storytelling feels like a brand-new ghostwriter. The details don't stack: and the repetition is really terrible. For example--
page 23: "“No, it uses magnetic power from the ground. I have had it at just about the limit. We would probably fall to our deaths.”" page 31: “"I can’t understand why the hovercraft can’t drive over water,” she says. I laugh. “I explained it earlier. It has to do with the magnetic energy in the ground. Water doesn’t have this energy to carry the magnetic force.”" page 49: "It barely clears the ground by some sort of magnetic energy. These crafts can’t fly over anything like a cliff, or on water unless it’s specially built for such a purpose."
It's so distracting. It seems innocuous and not that bad when you pull one repeated detail--but when it's the whole book long in TMI, it's incredibly distracting from the plot.
I LIKED the characters. I just wish they did more of what they thought, because their inner conflict and was so separated from their outer action (in a bad way, not an angsty one). Really wish this had had more of an overhaul in editing, it could have been a really nice story.
Delaina (h) is getting by working a dive when Carx (H) comes in, their eyes lock and he's forcing her into his hovercar. She's convinced he's kidnapping her, and he believes he's saving her from the flood that's claiming the city. Carx convinces Delaina to accompany him and as they get to know one another she starts to put a little faith in him even if he does seem to blow hot and cold. Carx seems to thinks that they're fated mates and Delaina refuses to accept this - to the point of her own detriment when she ends up in an even worse situation that Carx will have to help save her from. I like Carx a bit better than Delaina - she seemed kind of ungrateful at times for someone who was only trying to look out for her. Sweet fated mates alien romance with a little bit of steam action.
For those who love alien mates romances this series is excellent and this book, the latest in the series, is no exception. Carx rescues Delaina from a natural disaster in the form of a flash flood. She, however, insists she was kidnapped. It's not an auspicious start to their relationship -- but fortunately, in the long run love wins out. The situations are original, the characters are both sympathetic and believable, there's plenty of action and adventure, no small amount of angst, and some pleasantly steamy scenes to add spice to the mix. I've read the entire series so far and have yet to be disappointed. All the books are standalone and can be read in any order. Highly recommended!
This book is a quick read with a HEA ending. Carx and Delina bump into each other and find there is definitely something going on between them, but Delina has the problem of looking at everything as if she is still back on earth. Can she look at life on this new planet from a different perspective. Easily read with a little action within the storyline, our two characters are certainly easy enough to understand and realise why the feel the way they do If you enjoy paranormal romance and you enjoy something easy due to the storyline staying rather simple then grab a copy today and enjoy.
Alien's Power is book ten in the series Outlaw Planet Mates by author Eden Ember. A sweetheart of a tale only it starts with Mother Nature not playing so nice. Tell me if you heard this one an alien walks into a bar- lol. Anywho, this story is a whirlwind journey to make it back home to safety with many obstacles along the way. Alien’s Power, is filled with everything except the kitchen sink- and it’s great. A rescue- a prison…. sorry almost forgot I don’t do spoilers. Enjoy!!
A good story with an interesting plot, it was a decent read. Delaina had survived the crash landing on the prison planet thanks to the kindness of strangers and dumb luck. She didn't really appreciate it though. Carx has visions and rushes into her life. She makes some too-stupid-to-live decisions and dumps her savior. The story had some stuff going for it, but it was all muted for me, and maybe her character just turned me off. I read the whole thing. It was good but not great. I'd read another of her books to see if the same niggling things are normal, but I would read this author again.
Delaina is a human who was kidnapped by aliens, crashed on a planet in a stasis pod and now is working at a small establishment serving all kinds of aliens. In comes Carx who immediately knows Delaina is something to him. Acting upon his visions of a flood, he grabs Delaina and takes off with her to go back to his village. She makes a bad decision and now is up for sale by pirates at an auction. She is saved by Carx and he explains in detail about his visions and what they mean. They are mates. There's lots of action and then romance at the end and a happily ever after.
Delaina is abducted from earth but the ship crashes on Reazus Prime an alien family takes her in and gets her a job as a waitress until she is abducted by another alien while she is working. Carx the alien that had taken Delaina had a vision about her so he took her to save her life but things don’t go the way he plans. There is so much more going on in this fantastic story I loved it and the characters and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Delaina has made a life on the Outlaw Planet until a flood comes. She is saved by Carx. Delaina leaves Carx because she doesn't think he wants her. It is far from the truth and he proves it to her by trying to rescue her from slaves. They all get free and Carx and Delaina become mates in his village.
Who wouldn’t want a sexy green alien mate that even comes complete with a vibrating tool.. oh ya! These two meet under wild conditions and are immediately thrown into a crazy situation, but that just makes the HEA all the sweeter.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fast-paced, exciting adventure. Good world building. I liked the characters and was intrigued by Carx's visions. He and Delaina were so good together and I loved watching their relationship develop. A fun read. 4 stars.
A major flood, a light green alien, pirates, and more that she’s not ready for. She’s been lucky so far but can she really commit for the rest of her life?
This one was cheesy as hell. The female lead acts like a Mormon then suddenly says im drunk on your “passion”. 🙄 This story has so much potential but convo is very juvenile
Delaina is abducted and escapes in an escape pod. She crashes and is aided by a family and when healthy is encouraged to find her own way. A tall green alien grabs Delaina and gets her to understand he is rescuing her from the flooding. Many issues and more capturing and Carst, the green guy, is smitten.
Sweetly fated and charged with cosmic chemistry, Alien’s Power pulses with emotion and longing. Delaina and Carx's connection feels both destined and delightfully reluctant. The rescue from disaster, visions of fate, and push-pull of attraction make for an irresistible ride. It’s tender, tense, and a wonderful reminder that love sometimes arrives with green skin and big dreams.
