1995: Remember These Titans?

The 1995 Cal State Fullerton baseball team was considered by Baseball America magazine to be the best college team of all time. The team recorded a season of 57-9 and became the first top-seeded team to win the College World Series. The team's head coach, Augie Garrido defined this team to the media and fans that it was a rebuilding team. Fullerton had a roster of no starting pitchers returned, only two starters on the field from the previous season, and over half of the team was new players. In fact in their 20th season as an NCAA Division 1 member, Fullerton was risking being one of the worst teams in school history after having won two national championships previously. The only people who believed were the players.
