The historical aspect of this book was chef's kiss. It portrayed the time period exactly as it should, adjusting the characters' original story lines to the culture and habits of the people at the time. I loved that. I didn't feel like they were new characters, they kept their main traces of personality and ways of acting. However, what I didn't enjoy as much was the lack of certain scenes. For example, Hermione never knew about Draco and Theo's bargain or never acknowledged Draco's past or her fears of him falling into the same pattern once they were married. Also, I wish there had been a conclusion to both Harry and Pansy, and Ginny and Theo's stories. We got the feeling that they were walking towards that path but nothing was actually shown in the end. One of the things that I like the most in Dramione fanfiction is when the author changes Narcisa's way of thinking. I was afraid she would be full of prejudices towards Hermione but she turned out to be one of the most fun and caring characters to follow along. Also, I loved the depth of Draco's story. The additions to his story made his actions and ways of thinking make way more sense. Overall, I really liked the story.
