He's as off-limits as a guy can be. So why do I want no one but him?
London Of all the guys in the world, I just had to fall hopelessly and irreparably in love with my twin sister's boyfriend. No amount of parties with happy endings can put him out of my mind.
Gabriel is also a dork, but he's a hot as all hell dork. Somehow, he's both a nerd and a jock and he pushes all my buttons. But he's straight. He shouldn't attract me the way he does. And did I mention they've been dating for two years? Yeah… They're all but married.
I'm officially the worst brother – and human, let's not pretend – in the history of ever.
And when my genius of a sister comes up with a bulletproof plan to help me pass my exams by convincing Gabriel to tutor me, I discover that my big, beautiful dork hides a secret even more ruinous than my own. The way he looks at me when we're alone is almost all I've ever dreamed of.
But how many hearts will shatter if I take what I want? Is it not better that I let my love die quietly?
I hate wanting him.
Gabriel I'm a hot mess and he's off limits. We are a disaster in the making.
I can't say no to tutoring London. It would look like I'm hiding something, which I'm totally not. But if I were hiding something, it would not be easy to keep it hidden once the lessons begin and we're alone.
He crawls under my skin before I know it. He fills my mind with his rosy lips, high cheekbones, and sculped muscles. His male muscles, which I totally don't like. Except, when I'm alone, letting him into my thoughts is a comfort I desperately need.
The more I'm with him, the more I see I might be dating the wrong twin. But there's no easy way out of it. There's no happy ending for anyone here. Unless...
Unless I do what I fear the most and own up to the truth: London is all I ever wanted.
The Wrong Twin Dilemma is the third book in the Frat Brats of Santa Barbara series. It features one dorky, straight jock, one player with a bruised and tender heart, a whole lot of pining, a journey of discovering new sensations (wink, wink), and a grand finale to resolve the mess they make. There is NO CHEATING of any sort and there is a happy ending for EVERYONE involved. The book can be read on its own, but it’s just more fun to start with The Fake Boyfriends Debacle.
Ehhh. Kind of a run of the mill romance and more of a filler read.
I liked both of the MC's well enough and the twin sister thing was handled without cheating and a bare minimum of drama or hard feelings, but the book never really thrilled me all that much.
Also, after the shit hit the fan, not even the epilogue contained any specific details as to how Gabriel , which I would've appreciated knowing, since that's kind of really damn important, especially in super-expensive California. It's awesome out here, but far from cheap.

We are back at Highgate Academy for London’s story! London’s been pining for years and we finally get to find out for whom. Falling for your girlfriend’s brother (no cheating) No angst GFY Tutoring (forced proximity) Library shenanigans COMMUNICATION!
Can be read as stand-alone but sooo enjoyable (IMO) if you know all the characters from previous books. This series is well written, consistent, pure fun and great in between angsty reads. Yes, things move fairly quickly but these are also fairly short books.
Winning 3/3 in the Frat Brat series. London is my new fave f*ckboy! ♥️ 🤞🏼 for Hudson up next
Well this is a trope we don’t see often: my twin sister’s boyfriend.
But I was a lot confused with this story and these characters, omg. And now I’m also bored and kinda annoyed. So I’m calling it quits.
side note to the audio: Jon Waters is a new-to-me narrator and he did a fine job here. What I didn’t got tho was why he chose a kind of like British accent for the twins as they all seem to have grown up in Santa Barbara.
*This book is part of a series but it was totally fine reading it on its own. ** The audiobook was free with my audible subscription
I had been anxiously awaiting London's book. It was no secret that he was dragging a heavy heart around with him in The Royal Roommate Disaster and I needed to know who was responsible for it and why. When I saw the title of this book I couldn't help but wonder how the author would write his way out of this one, but he did and it made me so happy!
In the first book, London kind of came across as the king of The Fuckboys and I instantly stereotyped him. I thought he'd be full of himself and flaunt his privilege and status like the rich frat boy he was. I could not have been more wrong. I adored London in this book. His loyalty to his sister and willingness to break his own heart to protect her was really admirable, not that Elle needed his help (strong female character, yay!). And Gabriel...who doesn't like a buff stud who's boss at video games, loves Star Wars and can recite the principles of managerial economics in his sleep? His curious brain made me laugh more than once. I loved the way he'd latch onto an idea and refuse to let it go without getting answers first.
This was my favorite book in this series so far. I loved London and Gabriel's easy rapport and the way they couldn't hold back their smiles when they were together. I loved their fruitless search to find Gabriel's limits. And I especially loved the way the author allowed both characters to react in certain situations. Much like Jayden's unconventional reactions in the first book, London and Gabriel never quite did what I expected and that was so refreshing. And the sexy times were soooooo sexy. Though I am a little concerned about the final resting place of a certain vegetable and can only hope it didn't end up in Andy's salad (that is not a euphemism, I am not that clever). Oh, and the epilogue was so freaking cute. I hope Hudson's book is next!
"When I was eleven, you grinned at me like you had a million times before. But that time was so playful that it sucked the last atom of oxygen out of my chest."
Soooooo cute! I am loving all the books in Hayden Hall's Frat Brats of Santa Barbara series and The Wrong Twin Dilemma is no exception.
Whilst these books can be read as standalones, I'd recommend reading them in order to fully appreciate the cameos and interlinked stories. This is London and Gabriel's story.
This book ticks all the boxes if, like me, you love:
❣️forbidden romance ❣️bi-awakening ❣️friends to lovers ❣️sister's boyfriend (no cheating) ❣️low angst ❣️steamy times ❣️all the cuteness ❣️HEA
this was enjoyable in its own way. simply means, if you enjoy this, good for you.
the blurb sounds promising and it was, i might’ve just read it the wrong way. pining for the straight guy has been one of my favs trope EVER and i need it to be so fucking painful, unrequited, hopeless pining. yes, this book has pining, but not that kind. i mean, London pined for Gabriel for 10 years but there wasn’t any depth to that. just some moments of “ooh he’s with my twin”, “ooh, he’s not meant to be with me.” and maybe some paragraphs that said something like “it has been 10 years.” i don’t need that, i need pain, please. i need more of his past of how the pining grows and maybe put some feelings into it.
and the “twin” in the blurb sounds promising and soo scandalous but it wasn’t giving at all. i didn’t actually feel it. like you’re in love with your twin’s boyfriend, make it convincing, please. i think this book was made to be easy and i wasn’t expecting that so, it was quite not good to me. i don’t want to say bad because it wasn’t bad, yknow? and i also don’t think this book prioritize the development of the story in the beginning as it was more plot-focused after they got together which was just plain for me sooooooo :’( and the plotline afterwards was just okay, didn’t have that pull on me. tbh, if i was invested in the first half, i would enjoy the second half better, but yea, no.
however, i did enjoy someparts where they finally got together, where Gabriel starts to discover his sexuality with London - yeah, that part pulled me in. also the strip poker quizzets was hot af! i was slightly interested. still just slightly. it was real to life and great :) and it was HAWT, yum yum. i might drop this to 2.75 stars if the 3 stars don’t seem fit to my taste in a few days :/
I received an ARC from Gay Romance Reviews in exchange for an honest review.
This was one of the first books I've read by Hayden Hall - I think I've only read one or two others ones - but I enjoyed it. I haven't read the first couple books in this series of standalones, but after seeing cameos from those characters here, it definitely made me want to go back and read their stories. Especially Mateo's. I am INTRIGUED.
Anywho, The Wrong Twin Dilemma was fairly fluffy and adorable. It does not involve cheating in any way, so if you think it does and are staying away, there's no need to with this one! London and Gabriel were adorable together. I especially loved Gabriel. There's just something about a big, buff dude who is a huge softie cinnamon roll that loves vegetables that does it for me. (Iykyk).
This book is a super quick read, but very enjoyable, and the sex scenes were really well written. Also, that strip quiz: *chefs kiss* Best part of the book for me. I don't blame London for getting the questions wrong though because the material ugh... boring. But he got a reward in the end, so it's fine. Positive reinforcement or something, right?
This is so sad, I started the series for this book and it ends up being the one I like the least.
Reasons why I didn’t like this: (spoilers for the first half of the book ahead)
So first once I thought about it I kinda realised it would be weird to me that twins date the same person (not at the same time but still weird knowing they’ve both slept with him), then Gabriel has a crisis and thinks that whether or not he likes anal will affect what his sexuality is, and THEN when we finally get to the break up, it turns out Elle knew that she wasn’t romantically in love with Gabriel, but still went out with him knowing that her twin had a crush on him? This part was the final straw for me honestly. The first two points I could’ve probably dealt with but the last one just annoyed me too much.
So with all of those things, it just set a sour mood for me and even when Gabriel and London were on good terms with each other, it didn’t motivate me to continue. Plus if this was anything like the last two books I knew there’d be a 3rd act split and could not deal with it.
I’m usually not a fan of third act dramas. But this book is the rare case where the third act drama actually saved the book from being a total disaster. The first half of the book was a complete mess, to say the least. The pacing of the story and the character development were so out of it, I was constantly wavering between “Seriously?” and “What the fuck?”. You already have to bring a good portion of suppression of disbelief when it comes to romance novels, but I still couldn’t get my head around how stupid and absurd everyone was behaving. Well, Gabriel and Elle that is, London being the only sane man here. It was somehow saved by how they got through the third act drama. They both got some real character growth, especially Gabriel. So they are both redeemed and the book with them. Still not my favorite book of this series and I really hope the next ones will be better again.
I enjoyed my first read by Hayden Hall, it was sweet, swoons and romantic throughout. There wasn’t any angst regarding the obvious ‘dilemma’ but a bit of familial drama towards the end, but made sense given the context. Gabriel and London suited each other very well and I loved the little surprise addition to the family in the end, so cute!

Long time crushes and secret romantic dreams always face more challenges than open romance, especially when your future is dependent on family support. But as things begin to change into forever family and dreams come true, life gets better.
Gay love always seems to be twice as hard, butt that is not all bad. Bi-love can be confusing until it gets figured out. Years of figure drawings might help, but when you barely there girlfriend becomes ex- and fund true happiness elsewhere, the future becomes clear. Supporting yourself while in school and with a hot boyfriend has special rewards. And a Christmas present to fulfill a young boy's dream is the best of all.
I just have to say this: you can’t be mad at someone for not outing himself if it means he will loose everything and he’s not ready. No matter how the situation is, you can’t expect it and be mad about it.
And you can’t put your sisters honor over the life of another person. Well you can but you can’t expect the other person to throw away his whole life for the sake of your sisters honor when she kind of screwed up. And then play the victim.
It made me furious that Gabriel was made out to be the bad guy in this whole situation. He was not. This is not the right message. Because we’re talking about him loosing everything at once. It’s not right to expect him to pay that price.
Hayden Hall has done it again: a sweet and steamy love-story that sucked me in from the first page and left me begging for more.
I was a bit hesitant going in because I don't like it when the main characters are involved with others or eye other people, but I needn't have worried. The story starts with Gabriel already questioning his relationship with Elle and discovering his attraction to London. Pretty soon Gabriel and Elle amicably break up, and immediately Gabriel and London are an item. It's cute. Everybody communicates and it's all clear who likes whom. I like. I also like that the story doesn't start with the main characters having sex with others or just after, which is a common theme in contemporary gay romance I'm not a fan of.
In other words: the wrong twin 'dilemma' is solved in the first chapters. The main dilemma in this story is that newly-discovered-gay Gabriel is pretty sure he'll get disowned if he comes out to his father - and that is a big deal because he is financially dependent on him. So when there's a fundraiser weekend, Gabriel and Elle pretend to be still a couple, while London and Elle's boyfriend Zach pretend to be dating each other. We all know how these things go. Something, somewhere, always goes wrong. I blame Zach's heart-eyes for Elle. It is a testament of Gabriel's feelings for London that Gabriel doesn't wait to set things right in a very brave way, if I say so myself. I'm team E... Gabriel.
This story, like all stories in this series, is pretty insta-love, and I love it. There is never the question if Gabriel and London want to be with each other or not. It's so swoony, sweet and steamy. That strip quiz, oh my god! That is the motivation for studying we all need! That cottage is something I need, as well. Without the books on economics, mind.
What more can I say? I loved these two as much as I love the writing style in this series. This is what love feels like.
This story has great locations, fun cameos, a naughty cucumber, and a far-from-evil ex. The only evil is Gabriel's father, who looks like a Bond villain and acts like one too.
Bonus points for the cover and chapter titles.
The next story has enemies-to-lovers so I feel save to say that is going to be my favorite. Yes, Hayden, I have that much trust in you. <3
Thanks to Gay Romance Reviews for the ARC in exchange for the honest review!
I had previously read “Royal Roommate Disaster” by Hayden Hall and LOVED it, so I was very excited for this story when it popped up on GRR. Unfortunately, it just didn’t live up to the hype. Mind you, I love London and Gabriel as a couple, and their love story was very sweet once they got together. However, the lead up (aka the first third of the book) left a lot to be desired.
I am a sucker for angst, but this book…didn’t give me that. Maybe it was the expectation that there would be something spicy since twin was in the title and blurb, but it left a lot to be desired. I wanted depth. Darkness. Sadness. Lord knows we were told over and over again that London has had an unrequited crush for TEN FRIGGIN YEARS. Was I wrong for expecting soul-crushing angst?? Instead we had London’s internal monologue about how he shouldn’t love him, and then BOOM - they’re together. Never mind that Gabriel was dating Elle for LITERAL YEARS despite their very obvious lack of chemistry. Holidays together are going to be so much fun for the whole family. If I were London and Elle’s mother I’d be side eyeing Gabriel for the rest of their relationship LOL
Once the two get together the book truly finds its rhythm. Gabriel exploring his sexuality with London is great, but I felt for the guy. The nerd was just figuring himself out but was afraid of his dad not accepting who he was but thankfully London was super supportive. London was also super cute and relatable with his couple of “there’s no way this is real - there’s no way my crush loves me back” moments LOL Also, Gabriel being a smart cookie was a plus. I love a smart love interest ;)
Definitely not my favourite book of the series, but it was enjoyable enough. 3.5 stars, rounded up. The whole series is a solid 4 star read. I’d recommend it to any M/M romance fans.
The wrong twin dilemma is London and Gabriel book, was a little nervous about this book because of Gabriel is dating Landon’s sister but I was happy how their relationship happened. We already know London was just about hookups and no relationships, he was in love already but his story was really complicated. London has been in love with Gabriel since he was eleven years old, but has kept this a secret because Gabriel has been dating London's identical twin sister Elle for two years, poor Landon he watched the two of them together. The book was really good and I like how they started spending time together and Gabriel realize something wasn’t right, I can say much but there’s not cheating! I like that they have a chemistry and Gabriel can’t keep his hands of London, they were so sweet and hot!!! Gabriel declaration of love to London in public was the best!! And the epilogue melt my heart!! I enjoy this story so much!
I loved the dynamic between London and Gabriel when they got their stuff together. The concept of Gabriel initially being with London's twin sister was unique. I didn't like Gabriel's dad, but I don't think anyone would. You always wish for acceptance and the ready welcome, but this book portrayed the conflict realistically even when realistic isn't easy. This was easily my favorite book of the series and I must highly recommend it. The friendship and dynamics just worked. I would say these two are beyond worth reading about.
The Wrong Twin Dilemma is the second book in the Frat Brats of Santa Barbara serie by Hayden Hall. This book is about Gabriel and London. I really liked their story. It was sweet, sexy, full of feels and very well written.
He always jumps to the conclusion, he's on one hand Oh I love Gab since I were 11 on the other hand when Gab tries to come out he overreacts, call him names and leaves. OK I get it that it is not easy to trust anyone with your feelings but come on dude you have known this man your whole life and you still think that ge is playing some sick joke. He forces Gab to come out to his sister which if given the chance he was going to tell her on his own but London's ultimatum was not something I can let go. Then in the end he was giving pointers to Gab that everyone should come out in there own time to people they can trust and then in another instant when another crisis arises he forces Gab to come out even when it was clear that he was not ready to do that just yet.
Tbh I skimmed through last 4 chapters because I couldn't care less for any of them after Gabriel's OTT speech.

Another day, another author crossed off my to-binge list. This is Hayden Hall's Frat Brats of Santa Barbara series. The third novel is "The Wrong Twin Dilemma." ["He's as off-limits as a guy can be. So why do I want no one but him?

Another fantastic book. Which, might I add, had zero cheating and happily ever afters all around. Annnnd, it wasn't slow burn. All good things. All things that should make you want to read this book.
Gabriel was confused as hell for the first few chapters, tried to figure a few things out, and got yelled at (but don't worry, Elle sorted shit out). London was piney as fuck for the first few chapters, tried to ignore his feelings, and yelled a bit (but don't worry, Ell sorted shit out here, too).
More Fuckboys, more homophobic basically-millionaires, more found families, more Fuckboys falling in love, more happily ever afters. ;)
So disappointed. This is the first book that I’ve read in the series and when I read the synopsis and started the first chapter I really thought that I hit a goldmine and was about to dive in to a whole new amazing series. That wasn’t really the case.
Things I don’t like about the book:
1. The entire plot that’s written in the synopsis is solved within 40% of the book leaving the remaining 60% extremely boring with a subplot that is a) shoved in, and b) entirely unnecessary considering the initial plot was extremely interesting. 2. The fact that the entire plot revolves around Gabriel falling in love with the wrong twin, only for that twin to have the most mild reaction to ever exist on planet earth is so boring. 3. Everything just happened too quickly, and there wasn’t any tension at all until the very end. 4. The tension that was shoved in at the end was also poorly handled, in my opinion.
Things I liked about the book:
1. Gabriel and London are pretty sweet together
That’s it.
The book had a ridiculous amount of potential and I will definitely be giving the next book in the series a try, but I just wish we got more of what we were promised in the synopsis.
This could’ve been an extremely heartbreaking story of London having to deal with his childhood crush on Gabriel, and Gabriel having to deal with his new discoveries about his sexuality and his failing relationship. The book could have seen Gabriel breaking up with Elle and then beginning to see London, but for the two of them to be dealing with extreme guilt over what they’re doing, but not being able to stop because of the love that they feel for each other. A book with a plot like this can’t just be all fluff, it’s inherently a very divisive topic and it could have been such a heart wrenching book with an amazing and well earned happy ending.
To be honest, I haven’t read a book with a plot like this ever but I’ve read a million books with a character that finds out that they’re gay or bisexual and has to deal with the fear of coming out because of a homophobic parent. So the fact that the author had already come up with such a unique and intriguing plot, but gave it up for such a cliché villain was extremely disappointing.
I still give this book a 2.5 stars rounded up to 3 because if you haven’t figured out from all of my other reviews, I am a huge sucker for main characters who are just ridiculously in love with each other and that is pretty much what we get with Gabriel and London.
I… hated this. I should have stopped the first time I considered it but I hate not finishing a book and I really hoped it would get better.
I liked the second book in this series and in that book London comes across playful and cheeky and I was looking forward to his book. Shame this book made me kind of hate him.
[spoilers ahead] The first time I wanted to stop was when we find out that Elle, the twin, had known about her twin brother’s decade-long crush and decided to date the boy anyway. Ok, fine, they were young and maybe feelings are confusing when you’re not sure if you’re feeling them or your families are telling you you’re feeling them and maybe you do like him too but… she also says she kept dating him long after realizing she didn’t have feelings for him, ‘it was easier’. How do you do that to your twin? She’s constantly (very annoyingly) claiming to be the older and wiser sibling but no, she’s just selfish and doesn’t care about her twin’s feelings half as much as he cares about hers. That frustrated me to no end but it actually gets WORSE with the climactic drama of the book.
First of all, were Elle and Zach just making out in a hallway? Or with the door wide open? This is a hotel, you can’t just barge into people’s rooms without a key… if they were that stupid, when this entire ‘boyfriend swap’ plan was her idea, she brought that gossip on herself. Second, why not just say Elle and Gabriel broke up and weren’t ready to break it to their parents. Crisis averted.🤷♀️ But London bullying Gabriel into coming out to his dad and obliterating his life as he knows it? Knowing it means he’ll be cut off from his only family, lose his home, his path to education..? Just to save Elle from a bit of gossip? I can’t even cheer for that relationship. How can he have so little care for Gabriel.
I think Gabriel is the only character I care for at all in this book. Even the ‘fuckboys’ side characters carelessly out Gabriel to each other and giggle about it in a very public setting. Wtf. You know better.
Liked 2, hated 3, don’t remember reading 1 but I have it marked as read, not sure if I’ll give 4 a shot.

I've read a few books by Hayden Hall in the past, and I was excited to dive into this one. Because I love a good college romance and I loved the summary. And this book delivered both of them.
This is the love story between London, an out and proud self-proclaimed fuckboi, and Gabriel, a man who until recently believed himself to be straight. Oh, and at the start of the book, Gabriel was dating London's twin sister, Elle. But don't worry - there is absolutely zero cheating in this book. Instead, the fact that Gabriel is with Elle is handled very early and very well - but no spoilers as to how that all plays out.
The chemistry between London and Gabriel is very much there, something tangible that you can read coming off the page. Their spicy scenes are incredibly hot. Their relationship is very sweet. My only problem is that I didn't really believe how deep they claimed it was, which knocked off a star for me. It was supposed to be this incredibly deep and abiding love, but it felt very surface level for me throughout much of the book - but that could be because of how out of nowhere it came from Gabriel. He went from 0 to 250 seemingly overnight and I don't think my brain had time to catch up.
However, that is not to say that the relationship wasn't beyond adorable and I wasn't cheesing so hard my cheeks hurt by the epilogue. Nor is it to say I could put the book down at any point while reading it.
The Wrong Twin Dilemma is dual POV, high steam, and low angst. It is the third book in the Frat Brats of Santa Barbara series, but can be read as a standalone. I know this because I read it as a standalone and didn't feel as if I were missing anything.
** DISCLAIMER: I recieved an ARC of this book from GRR and this is my fair and honest review. **
Title - The Wrong Twin Dilemma (Frat Brats of Santa Barbara #3) Author - Hayden Hall Genre - MM Romance Published - June 2022 Pages - 261 Pages
London is hopelessly in love with Gabriel the one guy he shouldn't. Gabriel is straight but worse than that, he's London's twin sisters boyfriend. Gabriel is a total dork but he's also a jock, he also pushes every single one of London's buttons. London know's he shouldn't be attracted to him, he's straight and he's been dating his sister for two years.
When Gabriel's girlfriend asks him to tutor her brother, he can't say no she'd know he was hiding something. This is a disaster in the making. The more time I spend with London, the more time I start to think I'm dating the wrong twin. There's no way this can end well, for any of us.
Can anyone get out of this with their heart in one piece?
Another fantastic addition to an amazing series. Brilliant characters that are fantastically written. Character development is brilliant throughout. The plot was well written, easy to follow and kept me hooked throughout. I couldn't put it down. I didn't think there were any plot holes within the book.
I really enjoy this author's writing style, I haven't come across a book by this author that I haven't called immediately in love with. The book is a fast-paced quick read. I found the characters to be really likeable and relatable.
I can't wait for more from this series and this author. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys MM Romance, College Romance and quick, sexy, cute reads.
Firstly let me say I’ve got this book of gay romance reviews and this is me leaving my honest review. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There was just something exciting and exhilarating about Gabriel and London. You could tell straight away that there was no real chemistry between Gabe and his girlfriend. It seemed to me like they had a deep understanding that they loved each other but they were not in love with each other. And he only started to really look at this when he started to look at her twin brother differently. Gabe and London have been really good friends for a long time and then it just fizzled out and he didn’t understand why but now when he was near him or he looked at him or even sometimes when he looked at his girlfriend he saw him. And Gabe knew he had to say something but the first person he chose to talk to with London. London had feelings for Gabe for years, he was jealous of the relationship his sister had with him. And in the end he had to distance myself away as much as he could. As He was getting older it was getting harder and harder to hide it. And he would’ve of guessed that his sister knew all along and in the end pushes them together letting them know that they weren’t hurting her to be in a relationship she loved them both and wanted them to be happy. You will not be disappointed in this book it’s a really good read you will be left with a big smile on your face. There’s some really cute moments in this book can’t wait to see what Hayden comes out with next!
You know, for a series where the group of friends refer to themselves as f***boys, they really aren’t. London is a massive softy, with a secret collection of romance books to go with it. London has been in love with Gabriel ever since they were young, Gabriel was the reason he figured out his sexuality. But as they grew older, his feelings never changed. But Gabriel started dating London’s twin sister. I liked that this got into the meat of the story pretty quickly. Gabriel was quick to work out that what he had with Elle wasn’t that great, and they felt more like friends than anything else. But when he was around London, he felt so much more. So when Elle convinces Gabriel to tutor London to get the two of them together, it’s all go from there. The fact that Elle wanted her brother and best friend to get together was such a delightful surprise.
I loved this book, London is a sweetheart who can’t believe that his crush could ever be into him. Gabriel is a complete nerd, and I felt so bad for him because throughout the book the presence of his father was intense, because he knew his dad wouldn’t approve of him being in a relationship with a man. But London, oh my god the way he supports Gabriel is awesome.
I honestly just think this is a great series. The glimpses you get of London’s friends who have either already had books or will be getting them are incredible and makes you really want to keep reading. And I’m so excited for the next book!
I loved the first two books in this series and this one definitely didn't disappoint. We have seen London already, who just had hookups and no relationships, but there was a hint in the last book that his story was far more complicated. London has been in love with Gabriel for a decade, since he was eleven, but has kept his love secret because Gabriel is straight. Gabriel has also been dating London's identical twin sister, Elle, for two years now, just to rub salt into London's wound. No spoilers but the dating dilemma resolves itself early in the book, with no cheating and no hurt to any of the parties, and it was done sensitively and sensibly. Knowing the twins since they were all small, Elle is his best friend but Gabriel's not sure how he and London drifted apart. Agreeing to tutor London when Elle asked him to, brought a lot of things to the surface that his subconscious knew but he hadn't realised until then. Once his eyes were well and truly opened, things change very quickly. He and London heat up the pages and the sheets, and they were so hot together. They were also very sweet and loving. Was it unrealistic? Of course, it was. Did I care? Did I f**k. They were just perfect. Gabriel proving to London in public that he loved him, and the epilogue with the best Christmas present Gabriel could possibly give London (minds out of the gutters, people), were my absolute favourite bits but I couldn't put the book down.
The Wring Twin Dilemma is book three in Frat Brats of Santa Barbara and is an m/m romance. College romance, childhood friends, Coming Out, and lots more. This is such a great series and book one The Fake Boyfriend Debacle had been my fav but this is something really special. I just love everything about it. London & Gabriel are so different but equally just as amazing in their own ways. London has always been completely in love with his childhood friend & his twin sisters boyfriend. He’s never told anyone and just suffered it out in silence hoping the longing would go. And Gabriel is completely straight as far as he knows too. Plus like I said is in a long term relationship with his twin sister Elle. Gabriel is an absolute sweetheart, always thinking of others and he hasn’t exactly had the best childhood either. His dad I’d very strict, set in his ways and a homophobe. He doesn’t have his mother either. The way this story is told and how it progresses is amazing. There’s a lot of up and downs and nothing is plain sailing. There’s lots of steam, lots of heartfelt emotions and lots of family drama. This book is officially a top fav of mine and I can’t wait to see what Hayden brings us next. It just keeps getting better and better. So much love for this book. A well earned 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for sure.
