Pufff, las escenas lunita pueden ser más surrealistas?? Es que no entiendo nada. Encima en este libro la protagonista ni siquiera usa sus poderes al 100% o esa sensación me dio a mi, no sé si por lo mal que está explicado o porqué. Esta más interesada en tirarse a esos tres en las situaciones menos oportunas. Además, tuve parón por leer otro libro y me ha costado retomarlo y se me ha quitado un poco el mono. No sé si seguiré leyendolos, aunque tengo curiosidad por ver cómo acaba todo lo de la guerra. Espero que no igual que la kk de finales que da en todos los libros, aunque debería aprender a no confiar en la gente.

3.5 star listen
Narrator did a good job, I havnt listened to the first three books in this series but was told before starting they can all be listened to/read as a stand alone.
I didn’t mind all the characters but because of there length of the novel there isn’t much depth in the characters backgrounds or them individually, I would have liked more depth but it wasn’t long enough to give me this.
Even with this I would give 3.5 stars to this listen.

Carmine is use to hiding and being not really seen. Her Uncle reminds her of what she did to her sister constantly. Her own mother use to the the same. She lives with that guilt. She has had on person on her side and that is Draven. She has to see him to make sure he is ok. Her uncle had him placed in a cell and his badly injured. She manages to see him and vows to get him out.
Carmine is also told by her uncle that she will be marrying the visiting prince. She doesn't want to, she leaves the table feeling unwell. She goes to the garden, where she hears them talking about her. They both mean her harm due to her uncle. Carmine kills the prince with powers she didn't know she had. She runs from his guard, she runs toward Draven. The prince guard manages to get her, but two men stop him. These two men are Draven's brothers, they get Draven, the lady in the cell and Carmine away.
Their lives are in danger. They manage to find a safe place for Draven to recover. They want to know how the lady is and what is going on with her riddles. What they find out, makes them have various reactions to her.
Carmine learns that she is a chosen one, she thinks they are all wrong. She doesn't believe that she is. She can't see who see really is as of yet.
Carmine is so happy that Draven is better, she wants him to know how much she loves him and for him to see her. But as she gets to know his brothers, she starts to have feelings for them as well. They are in search of their enemy when they come across a person Carmine believes is dead.
This is just some of the things that happen in this book, there so many different things that happen. You will start reading won't stop until you get the very end. I recommend reading this book. You will not regret it.

When Princess Carmine finds out her guardian and the man she loves is taken hostage by her evil Uncle . She is promised to a man but that marriage is loveless and there are ulterior motives . When Titus and Sabre , Draven's brothers come and save them from their clutches . They save them both and they go on the adventure of their life time .
This is Rose Red's book and book 4 in the series . I think this is the funniest book out of them all . Carmine is such a fun character she is sweet but there is a sadness and a longing to her . She really comes alive when she is with the men that she wants . She can also kick some butt when she has too . Draven , Titus and Sabre are bird shifters and they are deadly huntsmen to boot . They each are very distinct and have a set of skills I love them and you don't read a lot on bird shifters .
This is the 4th book in the series and I think I liked this one the author is really taking the stories and twists them more and more with each book . I love that there are bird shifters in this one , you really never get to see them very often . The characters are well written and with each book we get to see a complexity that grows . The story is fresh and has some great twists and turns that will keep you reading . There is intrigue and romance and some sexy scenes that will have you blushing . This is a great book for the summer sitting by the pool or at the beach . I strongly suggest that you read the other books in the series first so you know what is going on .

Man I freaking love this series. I cannot get enough of it, that being said... this was the first book that I preferred one of the male characters over the other two.
That being said it was still a kick ass book. Who would have thought I would dig reverse harem? This books is so well written, I love how the characters have all been adapted into new very naughty stories.
I love the world building and how each story not only tells you the character's story but has a major story arc that develops with every book. This series is very well written. I really liked Rose. She seemed more vulnerable than the previous characters but she can certainly hold her own.
Overall this series is so much fun. So. Much. Fun. I cannot wait for the next book.

If you haven't seen my previous reviews for books 1-3, I love this series. It's very smut driven and very action driven. I have never heard the tale of Rose Red so I didn't have the Disney princess image in my mind to build from. However, Rose sounds just as beautiful and powerful as all the other princesses have. I like that she shared a small portion of her story with her sister, Snow. As stated previously, I definitely recommend! Now on to the next princess....

Pascal does it again! This world of misfit fairy tales is incredibly enchanting and viciously alluring! The writing and story lines are flawless. The characters are captivating. I loved Princess Carmine and her huntsmen!

So far, this has been a really enjoyable series. I am loving the authors take on old fairy tale characters. Each story brings a new adventure that still ties into the one before & the one to come. I have loved every single one of the heroines! Eagerly awaiting the next of the chosen!

I love this series so much! I think it's my favorite from HP & Plum.

I have really enjoyed this whole series. Just one book wasn't to my taste. But if you skipped part of it then it was great too. So read these books. You will enjoy them.

Least favorite
This has been my least favorite so far. The plot itself was fine but I couldn't stand Carmine. She was such a damsel in distress and acted like a whiny child. for example when they said she would
Stay back while they got the stones. They gave her extremely valid reasoning, that she wasn't trained and her hag could take over. But she refused to listen to reason.
I also wished they would have explained this hag thing more. What exactly is a hag and what is the difference between a hag and a witch?
I hope the next girl is stronger and more likable.

parts were a little rushed
Parts were a little rushed and other parts were super detailed. Kinda felt like the reading flow started and stopped a bunch. Overall a good read but not my favorite.

This storyline is non stop action from the beginning. With characters that are likeable you can read this as a stand alone. Great performance
