Insightful, inspiring and interesting. Is easy to read, and divides into 3 parts: 1) discovery through lens of history 2) science: the foundation of our profession and 3) new frontiers: Applying research to achieve our vision. Loved the part 1, the autor describes the impact of the world wars to shape of dietitians profession in the US. So much we can learn from inspiring women that push through change.
I recommend the reading to any dietitian at any stage of their career.
Read for CEUs. While it didn't quite fulfill expectations about future opportunities, I enjoyed learning more about our country's nutrition history and some of the early nutrition and dietetics leaders.
