Hood Crucifixion God's Plan

I didn’t know what to expect from new author Blossom but sis delivered and then some. Godrique “God” James and his disciples were your traditional alpha males with that BDE. God was a loose cannon and so were his disciples by association. God wasn’t a one woman’s man and had no plans of settling down. However, he meets Vitani and is intrigued. Now all he sees is wifey. Vitani propositions him on some get back towards a snooty coworker who thinks she has God on lock. God is surprised but doesn’t turn down the opportunity to satisfy his curiosity. This wild ride takes off from there, with jealousy, deception and get back at every turn. Vitani, poor thing. It seems as if it wasn’t for bad luck she wouldn’t have any. However, that doesn’t matter because God, his disciples and Vitani’s best friend Rae, all have her back. I was engaged from beginning to end.
They only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because first, the use of God and his disciples was a little corny for me. I’m glad that there weren’t 12 and that they all didn’t have biblical names. Second, reading phrases like “cum for God” felt hella awkward. Last, I don’t even know if the ending can be considered a cliffhanger. Even though I was in the epilogue, it just snuck up on me. There was no big shock or gasp, just wait! Is this the end? Scratches head. With that being said I can’t wait for book two. I need my curiosity satisfied. I need Bart found and dealt with, I want to see what Teqwyn & Rae have in store for us and lastly, Simon and Violet 🙈, say it ain’t so.

Wow!!!
From page 1 to the final page, this story was action packed!!!
Not o ly was there nonstop action, drama and suspense, but this story was such a fresh take on dark romance. I loved it. The character development was top notch. The story flow did not miss. I laughed out loud several times. There were several plot twists that I did not see coming. This was a brilliant debut novel and I am looking forward to reading more from Author Blossom.
It is extremely rare that I give a book a 5 star when there is a cliffhanger, but I was anticipating this one because I knew I needed more even before the story was finished. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed this story.

New Authoress 🚨 Alert 🚨
I need more.... I was so caught up in the turning pages that the story ended,... nooooooo. This story gave me life. For this to be a new author I didn't know what to expect. But, Ms. Blossom did her thang with this. I don't know her personally yet I'm so proud and happy for her.
Now about the book. Baby, the characters are full of seasoning and the storyline is beyond entertaining. I can't wait for the next book. ❤️🌹❤️🌹

A very different read
Listen if you are easily offended by references to the bible this story is not for you. There are several themes and references from the bible, but it is a fictional hood story so to some it could be offensive. It is up to you to decide if that is a separation you can make.
That said I think this is a solid beginning of a series, because it ends on a cliffhanger with us waiting to figure out how some things will end. I loved the characters. Godrique was the leader of the "disciples," his crew of men and they were smart businessmen with a side of hood. They definitely gave me a UCK vibe (by E. Bowser) because they were about their business during the day, but had some extra curricular activities that helped them stay ahead in the game during the night. Godrique was approached by Vitani and it threw him a little off guard, but their interaction would be one he could not shake. Vitani was desired by several men and tbh I didn't understand why. She was definitely "different," but she was ditzy ah to me. Once Godrique was locked in, he made sure she understood that she was going to be his wife and her daughter was his as well. He was definitely extra, but it was clear he did not play about his little family that he basically adopted. He constantly showed up with his actions, which had me side eyeing Vitani for her some of hers. I loved the brotherhood, the sisterhood, and the family aspects of this book. Granny was a star and I loved her antics, every time she showed up on the page. There was a lot going on and there were a lot of snakes that were uncovered, some that were definitely unexpected.
Things that could have been better: The ending was underwhelming. While I get that the intention was a segway for another book, that should have been mentioned in the synopsis. I wanted more from the core characters to close out with. Additionally, the sex scenes were good but the "God" references were cringey to me. Also, one of the ending scenes went a bit far on the bible references that was borderline questionable, but again this story is fictional and it tied the story together.
I would read the next book in the series. This cover also is amazing and is one of the reasons I wanted to read this book.

I probably need to repent
Godrick aka God was sexy, strong minded and strong willed. His will definitely will be done or suffer the consequences. Vitani was sassy, flip mouthed, and was not the one or the two. From their first encounter interest was peaked and it was on from there. They definitely faced a lot of drama and haters, but forgiveness and mercy were not given to them.
After reading this book I probably need to repent lol! Reading the sex scenes and her screaming his name “God” had me wanting to do the sign of the cross they were so good and I ain’t even Catholic!
Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Listen where do I start, from beginning to the very end was good! I didn’t want to put my phone down. Of course God is book bae. But definitely potential in the others. This story focused on a god, his disciples and a demon of war and how they were brought together for a hood crucifixion. You’ll have to read the story and meet the characters for that too make sense.
This novel had everything that you could possibly think to have action, a hint of romance, violence, financial crimes and intrigue. The characters were interesting and fun. The story kept my interest enough to read in one day.
There were instances where I was confused by the female protagonist or how the relationship became so familiar so quickly or the changed in the female protagonist in the last couple of chapters.
All in all, a good read that I hope we get the sequel to sooner rather than later.

GOD!!
This was my first time reading this author work but won't be my last. This book had me laughing especially Granny's characters. God(Godrique) is that dude and Vitani is perfect for him. Vitani was doing a job for the feds but ended up finding love. This story keeps you reading for beginning to end.

Reading for the second time was twice the fun. God and the Diciples (John, Peter, Simon, and Teqwyn)? Yes, please! The shenanigans did not disappoint.
One time for bringing the story to Polk County!
While very young, slightly ditzy Vitani Banks & tech savy bestie Rae prove they are more than meets the eye as these characters develop.
Godrique “God” James has his hands full with this mystery lady that has stollen his heart and tests his patience at every turn.
Coming off a Product of the Streets high, I recognized a few names such as the man of mystery, “Lexington Sharpe" because now I got more questions!
Another late introduction to the POTS series was Jen. We learn a little more about her here and so now I am screaming!
Simon and Grandma Vi non relationship is comica, and I loved it. That man loves his stomach! Speaking of... could this be POTS Cece's Samson? I am still undecided.

One of the best books out!
OMG!! This book gave me life like no other. I loved the characters and storyline. A must read for any true reader looking for something to grab and keep your interest. I am so ready for book two to come out.

I loved the story and the plot. I just wish the relationship between God and Vitani had better depth. It was clear he was obsessed with her and she was feeling him but it all seemed based in the physical. And I get that this is dark romance so I’m not bothered by some of the stuff he did at the end. But the way he was moving and acting with LiLi just rubbed me all the way wrong. Simon was by far my favorite character, he was giving me Tyrese in the early fast and the furious, energy and I loved it. I enjoyed all the moving parts and the author did a good job of laying out all the players and motivations I just wished the same attention was paid to the romance. It just relied to heavily on the smex and the obsessive personality of God. I’m exited for part two though.

Say what now...I think I'm a magnet for crazy. This was so off the chain...I know I'm unhinged. Definitely wasn't expecting to read what I read but, hell I didn't know what to expect to be honest. I honestly thought it was about a single mom, Vitani, getting back out on the dating scene, meets new guy with an interesting name, Godique. Of course the baby daddy issues or ex girlfriend pregnant and bestie who is your ride or die....but baby all that and a whole other load of craziness and drama and lets not forget the wicked raunchy sex. But through it all I loved Godique because he was a man that knew what he wanted and went after it. I feel a part 2 coming

Wow , This book was so damn good from beginning til the end. I could not put it down once I got a dose of Godrique " God". This story had to much action from the beginning to the end. God was packing that weapon these women couldn't get enough of. Vitani had the right get back for Anita smart talking ass. She took the one thing is wanted and couldn't get God! I love all the characters in this story and I cant wait to see what happen next. LILi should have just take that L and move around. I need part 2 like yesterday !

The characters felt as if these were real people you would know in real life. Everyone has a person in there life that acts like a Simon or GRANNY! I finished reading this book early this morning and I am impressed. I didn't know how to feel in the first chapter after that 🥵 quickie because I'm old and they are young lol. I continued reading and it was hard to put down to go to bed. The characters and plot was very thought out and well developed. Each character had their own personality that truly came off the page. I enjoyed this book for the ride it gave with that plot! Keep it up Author! Ready for the next one!

This book was so unrealistic it’s crossed over to cringy asl. U meet this girl at a corporate party and after 10 mins of meeting her she basically throws the pu$$ and u catch it. Literally ten mins honestly it could’ve been 5, in the office of the building she works in, and now your just so in love and knows she wife material? HOW SWAY? She ain’t did nothing to show these qualities. The author didn’t show any build up to their relationship not even a little bit. These 2 ppl knew absolutely nothing about each other to be so in love that he’s proposing to her like 2 months later. In those two months there was still no build up to their relationship. IMO the author didn’t show her being a good mother. She actually sucked as a mother, her baby was forever being dropped off to her momma or grandmother. Vi never spent more than maybe 2 mins with her daughter, so why even make her character have kids? Then you sitting there crying for your deadbeat a$$ baby daddy and he just had a gun to your head in front of ALL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS? Like I just didn’t understand this book at all. Were we supposed to like or dislike the MFC? I really don’t like her and the MMC was so cringy I didn’t like him either for real. To me he wasn’t God like at all.
It’s like the author tried to put every idea she ever had for a book in this one book. It was like please pick a plot and stick to it. She got a spy, disgruntled baby momma, disgruntled wanna be gf and bf, deadbeat baby daddy, the one girl out of millions that every dude wants, the backstabbing best friend, etc man it’s like any scenario you could think of was put in this book. And it DIDNT MAKE SENSE. I mean I’ve been reading this book trying to figure out which way we’re going here. There was no build up, no starting point, I’m really starting to think it’s a part before this but it says book 1.

Vi never spent more than maybe 2 mins with her daughter, so why even make her character have kids? Then you sitting there crying for your deadbeat a$$ baby daddy and he just had a gun to your head in front of ALL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS? Like I just didn’t understand this book at all. Were we supposed to like or dislike the MFC? I really don’t like her and the MMC was so cringy I didn’t like him either for real. To me he wasn’t God like at all.
It’s like the author tried to put every idea she ever had for a book in this one book. It was like please pick a plot and stick to it. She got a spy, disgruntled baby momma, disgruntled wanna be gf and bf, deadbeat baby daddy, the one girl out of millions that every dude wants, the backstabbing best friend, etc man it’s like any scenario you could think of was put in this book. And it DIDNT MAKE SENSE. I mean I’ve been reading this book trying to figure out which way we’re going here. There was no build up, no starting point, I’m really starting to think it’s a part before this but it says book 1.

Messy in the best way. Like, it definitely kept me entertained from start to finish, but I still feel like it was missing something. I can’t even put my finger on it.
Godrique? Completely unhinged. Vitani too. That combo alone had me flipping pages like crazy. The found family vibe with Godrique’s homeboys instantly accepting Vitani was one of my favorite parts—it felt genuine and added some softness to all the chaos.
Now the drama with LiLi and Anita? Wild. And that ending?? I swore Bart was gone for good. The cross scene had me gagged—I was literally laughing out loud like, what is even happening right now? And Rae talking about she jealous?? Girl, be serious.
Maybe the book needed to be a little longer to flesh everything out, I don’t know. I liked it overall, just didn’t love it. It had the potential to hit harder, but it still gave what it needed to give for a messy, chaotic ride.

This was a great read. First book by this author and I really enjoyed it. I laughed and talked smack to the characters. Godrique was everything. He’s ruthless but sweet to the women in his life. My favorite is him protecting Vitani from his mother cuz she was being weird af. He took being a step daddy very serious. Vitani surprised me in more ways than one. Simon reminds me of Faxx(for my Pots fans). He’s so unserious lol. I loved the concept of this book. It ended on a cliff hanger and I can’t wait for Hood Retribution to come out.

Everybody is Crazy AF!
Godrique was unhinged but Vitani wasn’t far behind. Both characters fit perfectly together a bunch of craziness in a hand basket!
I felt the characters were kinda all over the place, a timeline would’ve been helpful.
I’m interested to see how things play out with Bart and his father’s plans….
