Alex is a semi-professional soccer player determined to accomplish his to become a pro-footballer. However, after leaving everything aside to accomplish his goals, a terrible injury snatches his dream from his hands and he falls into the depths of alcoholism; this way, the course of his life changes forever.
From one party to the next one, he hits the bottom of his disease. Tired of his tormented and difficult life in Mexico City, Alex decides to cross illegally the Mexico-United States border to try and change his luck. This is the point in which the plot takes an unexpected turn. The main character will face what will be, undoubtedly, his worst the inner struggle to defeat the demon of his alcoholism, a demon that will sink Alex further down, causing him to take bad choices, while a series of tragic events unleashes on him, making him consider to give up and let everything to his fate; a journey throughout a world that exposes corruption, violence and the way drug-trafficking gangsters control everything on both sides of the border.
This story takes place on a beautiful town, enigmatic and full of magic, where the main character will face stereotypes and cultural barriers that will become his next big obstacle. Alex arrives, not being aware of it, to a place in which he’ll find love and the opportunity to recover his lost dream.
