This was the sweetest second chance romance, ever.
And I say that as someone who’s not the biggest fan of the second chance trope.
I love this author’s ability to write characters that I wholly enjoy.
And she did not disappoint in this one.
Plus we got to see old favorites from previous books, too. Something I really loved.
This book was funny, it was sexy, it was emotional, it was everything I wanted it to be.
I just wish it was a bit longer because I’m greedy and I’m sad it’s over already.
I can’t wait to see who’s next in the series.
I’m hoping it’s Thorn, since he has that ‘phone sex operator’ on the line😂.
Either way, you can count me in for the next one.

This one, I can't even say enough how good it was. I'm not always a fan of second chance romances, I figure there is a reason the couple broke up in the first place. But with this one they didn't break up, they were torn apart by evil parents, who went on to do more evil stuff.
I loved how when Styx saw Katrine, he knew he had to get his shit together, that he didn't want to talk to her until he was "fixed" and he went about doing that. It was just by chance that they ran into each other 3 months later. I don't think Styx thought he was "ready", but he wasn't going to loose his chance, so he struck...chatting with Katrine, talking about their past, a bit about the present and securing a way to contact her.
I liked how the other women in Styx's family kept giving him advice on how he should move forward with Katrine, ways not to screw it up, it really worked for him. Soon they were on their date and from there things moved fast, but these two deserved to finally find their happiness.
I loved how Katrine's 2 older boys gave Styx the talking to before their date, how they tried to give their mom a curfew, how they subtly clued Styx in on a few things and in turn learned some things too.
The drama towards the end you could see coming, but it was fun to see how the group dealt with things. I'm glad that Styx made it through the horrible things, glad that it even more speed up him and Katrine moving forward with their relationship. I loved how Katrine's tea brought about some very funny things for everyone to talk about and have a feeling Styx will never live it down. I also loved how this drama brought the TX branch of the family to town, for Katrine to see them all in action and how no one better do anything to threaten anyone or there will be huge consequences! I also loved that the 2 groups fulling pulled Katrine and her horde into their horde, the kids especially, where things went from crazy to chaotic fast!
It was really hard to not have a smile while reading the last bit, so happy for these two people who should have always been together to finally have that for them.

Another fantastic addition to this awesome series!
This has been a fantastic series, and they definitely keep getting better and better! One thing that I can always count on from Cee Bowerman is that no matter how serious or emotional the story is, it's guaranteed that you will be laughing until you cry at least once (probably a lot more than that! Lol!) during each book. This story was a bit emotional, a little twisted, and absolutely hilarious. I honestly haven't laughed that much in a while, but it was so worth it! I loved reading more about this intriguing and incredible family, their friends and family, and of course all of my favorite characters from Rojo, Texas! I really can't wait for the rest of the siblings stories!
This is certainly a must read book and series! I would highly recommend all of this author's work.

This is the 4h book in the Tempests series (there are 3 more to come). We 1st met the Tempests in Cee Bowerman’s Texas Kings MC series: Fain (Book 12). The Tempests were raised in a cult-like MC by their father who thought he was a Norse god. This book is about Styx Tempest (owner of 2 bars) and Katrine (a herbalist who has a store with crystal, handmade lotions, bath salt, and other beauty products). Styx and Katrine were each other’s 1st love and were separated at the age of 13. Both had extremely challenging years apart. Then there was also a crazy ex of Styx’s that represented even more challenges. But nothing could stand in the way their love. If you are familiar with Cee’s Texas Kings MC series, there’s a chance to catch up with favorites and of course there is lots of laughs, after it is a Cee Bowerman book.
Cee writes stories of wonderfully strong women who meet and fall for strong, protective alpha males and this one is no exception.

Brilliant read
This as a great installment to the Tempest series. The couple has great chemistry. Steamy encounters and a bunch of hilarious banter between all the charicters.
Styx and Katrina's story is some what a slow burn. It starts when they were children, living in the compound ruled by Dresil Tempest. Suddenly they are ripped away from one another without a word. They meet again when they are a lot older and experienced life.
Katrina is five children deep when she meets Styx again, only now he is a man instead of a boy. But her life is stable and she is content, so she tries to deny the connection.
Styx has loved Katrina since he was a boy. He never knew what happened to her. But years on and many, many women he has found her again, and she still takes his breath away.
Styx and Katrina battle the odds to come together and in doing so we get to see some of our favourite brothers from the TKMC.

Oh my heart, Styx and Katrine finally getting together after so many year apart! This was a laugh out loud, intensely sweet, second chance love come full circle all wrapped up in a found family story that I desperately needed. Styx has just been drifting, aimless really until Katrine comes back into his life. Ripped apart, Styx's memory was the one thing that Katrine held onto. I honestly don't know that I have the words to do their story justice. I laughed so hard even as my heart ached at all the lost years. These characters will worm their way into your heart, it would be impossible for them not to. There aren't enough stars in the rating system for this amazing read. All the love for Katrine and Styx!

Styx and Katrine
I absolutely loved this story. Styx and Katrine finally find each other after so many years and looks like they're still in love. Katrine was sadly sold by her father at a young age and wound up having five kids, but luckily for all of them, he died. Styx was being a typical man and going from one female to another and was seeing a woman named Megan, whom by the way, his family told him to back away from quickly. Unbeknownst to any of them she was slowly poisoning him. Megan decided to get back at him through threatening Katrine. Oh boy, big mistake. Cee knocked this one out of the ballpark. I always enjoy seeing the interactions with the Rojo crowd and they are just as crazy and cool as always. Happy reading.

Styx & Katrine
Every time I pick up a Cee Bowerman book, whether it’s the first time or the fifth, it’s like stepping into another world. Everything else just ceases to exist. I laugh, I cry. I am a part of that world. Styx and Katrine’s story was no different. I couldn’t put it down. I got absolutely nothing else done. Who needs sleep? My family can take care of themselves!
Styx and Katrine have each been through so much yet they are such extraordinary and yet normal people. And being able to visit with all the Tempests and their family and friends as well as all the family from Rojo!? Just priceless! Must read! Must own!

I did my happy dance. Mrs. Bowerman does it again. I've been laughing at all the kids antics, oh and Styx bathroom issues. It was 2am when I was trying not to laugh hysterically. Epic.
I'd been wondering who was the person in Styx apartment...crazyyy. Great to meet up with old friends from Texas. Awesome advice from Smokey, Bird and my forever favorite Kale. Makes want to reread the series AND purchase ALL Cee Bowerman books. Ok back to why I am here...
Styx reunited with his long lost love Katrine. They both suffered terrible trauma and reconnected to live a HAE.

Homemade food is so much better!
Well, that was a twist! Pretty sure that every reader of the Tempests series, figured that Styx and Clover would finally hook up. Surprise! A blast from Styx's past shows up and knocks him for a loop. Megan is trying her best to land Styx but her crazy is slipping big time.
Poison, squirrel, herbs, canning, and love. All mixed up into a story that makes you laugh out loud and gives you the feels.
Definitely want to see how the court case comes out because it should never have happened.

Awesomeness at its best...
Once again Cee has done it!!! I'm absolutely in love with Katrine and her kids. Once again Cee has taken a family with a single parent and showed how to have the strength and how to own everything bad and prove it doesn't have to own you. There are many books I have read and look forward to reading the future but very few excite me the Cee's books do. You know you are in few and adventure and life lessons that will have you laughing and crying the whole time. She just has a way about it.

Great book
I really liked this book. Loved really all the characters together. Has humor and drama always a plus. The only thing bothering me is Megan and her **SPOILER**
poison. I swear I have read that before. Almost all the details of what she was doing to Styx. It's driving me nuts trying to figure out where I have read that. Then their is a comment with the pooping episode and the 2012? Not 2022. Was this book written somewhere by Cee or another author. I'm thing Ms. Vale but can't be sure.

Wow just wow. So much history on both Styx and Katrine's sides past and present. What's not to love. His crazy family and her courageous little brood. There is mystery along with a strong love story. I haven't laughed like that since Cee's last book. The Forrester's and there family was an added bonus. I have followed the Forrester's from their beginning. Just when you think you can't love Martha or Smokey any more they go and have me falling some more. I enjoyed visiting with my Rojo friends right along side the Tempests.

It was great seeing the entire crew.

Styx is book 4 in the Tempest series written by the talented author Cee Bowerman. I absolutely loved Styx and Katrine second chance romance story. They have been through so much bad history, hard childhood.... fast forward some years and life gives them another chance. I enjoyed the visit from the Forrester's, the Rojo friends with their families. The Tempest books are getting better and better. Can't wait for more!!!I LOVE Cee Bowerman's stories!! This is certainly a must read book!!I highly recommend it!!

Outta the park again.
I have read every book from every series Cee has put out. And I have to say I love every one of them. The interactions between the series as great. I found myself laughing out loud as I read this book. Styx and Katrine are an awesome couple. Their chemistry is off the charts. I got lost in the stoey right along with the characters. I couldnt put it down til I read it cover to cover. I cant wait for the next book to come out. Keep up the amazing work.

This is another wonderful book by Cee Bowerman. The Tempest family have risen above everything that life has thrown at them and are a beautiful tightly woven together family. I love that Styx finds his HEA in someone from his past. Katrine is a brave, strong woman and a fitting match for Styx. A great read for anyone but I have read all of Cee's books and have never read one that wasn't great.

I loved it!!!! First off without giving anything away! When I was reading I called it about the crazy B!tch!! I even paused my books to google 🤣 stuff. But I love Karina & Styx relationship. I’m glad they found each other again. I hoped though that there was little action involving the Crazy B! But other then that another solid book by Cee! I can’t wait for Thorns book! I’m tired of all the teasing now on the mystery woman.

Every book by this author is filled with little nuggets of story that tugs at your heart and seems like reading the stories of your friends finding their happily ever after.
With this book, you see the poison coming from a mile away but the story was solid, entertaining and had the fresh perspective of those good friends catching up and reconnecting. And the squirrel event in the epilogue was comedic genius. I laid here laughing until it rolled down my cheeks in years.

THEY JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER!!!!!!!
Omgawd I laughed in parts of this book so hard I had to get up and go potty….I love that Cee kept these characters going on. The new friends and family are making the stories but her every so often bringing a glimpse of those Forrester’s just cement those stories. Looking for a great series line then visit Cees Texas Knights MC and follow them all the way through Rojo and beyond to the Tempests. You won’t be sorry you did.

Loved it!
This is a good one, but who am I kidding all of her books are good. I really love how her women are strong independent women. Katrine is a warrior and has been through so much, and then their is Styx who has his own level of trauma now they have been brought back together after all this time. I love how they were able to pick up where they left off and have so much more than they ever thought they would or could. 😍

Laughing until your sides hurt
Mystery, intrigue, love and lots of laughter. Cee Bowerman has outdone herself. Styx thought he found the love of his life until he finds his childhood sweetheart Katrine. With an ex who is trying to kill Styx, then Katrine when they get some help from the Rojo group. Lest we not forget Katrine's 5 kids and a family of squirrels that will have you laughing until your sides hurt!

3.5 ⭐️‘s - Not as good as others in the series. There were a few ancillary characters thrown in from their past on the compound that added nothing to the story. It was nice to have some of the guys from Rojo drop in, but really wanted more time spent with development of relationship between Styx, Katrine and the kids. Can’t wait for Thorn’s book since he’s been one of my favorites from the beginning! Hopefully the sisters will get books too!

Stykx had a crazy girlfriend trying to poison him and then we have the kings coming to he'll from Rojo, Tx. Little brother has a baby with Jenna and their is a missing squirrel. I paved so hard at the end of this book when the missing squirrel turned up. Now on to the next book.💙💚

3.5 stars. This one had me laughing out loud in a few of the scenes as the chaos with all the kids kicks in. Styx and Katrine had loved each other as kids, so this second chance romance was sweet.
There are a lot of characters from other series popping up in this book and since I haven't read the other series' it was bit confusing at moments. I would have liked more time experiencing Styx and Katrine's developing relationship and less on impromptu family reunions.

Enjoyed Book 4, Styx
My first in this series because I wasn't sure of the storyline. I compliment Cee Bowerman on her skill in providing background in a wonderful narrative. Many writers give us a "list of events" that bog down the story. This is so much better.
I enjoyed the characters, people and critters, in this adventurous tale with battling kids, very close siblings, a scary girlfriend, and a lost love.

This book was absolutely phenomenal!
I loved the history and chemistry they have together!
They both had a horrible past but were able to overcome it and be fantastic people.
Absolutely love the kids and can't wait to see them in future books.

They both had a horrible past but were able to overcome it and be fantastic people.
