Beautifully illustrated with short chapters, The Gospel Made Clear to Children details the person and work of Christ. It begins with the holiness of God, the sinfulness of man, and the penalty for sin. It considers the love of God in eternity past and the provision God has made in sending His Son. It traces the incarnation, birth, life, and ministry of Jesus Christ, with a special focus on His crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, and exaltation. It culminates with a call to repent and believe, ending with the evidence of true conversion. Written from a heart full of love, this book calls children to turn from their sins and trust in Christ.
The Gospel Made Clear to Children is written for parents to read aloud to younger children (elementary) and for older children (youth) to work through independently. It is designed to be a discipleship tool to help parents impart to their children the wisdom that leads to salvation (2 Tim. 3:15). Corresponding study questions for reflection and application can be found in the companion guide.

I read this book with my five year old and though it was a bit old for him it was very clear and easy to understand. It explained the gospel at the end of every chapter and explained what repentance looks like very well. We will definitely be rereading this book again in another year or two.
Absolutely loved this precious devotional. It was so well done, very concise and simple, but biblical and deep. It was so enjoyable and opened so many conversations. Will return to this again and again
We read this book in family devos and really enjoyed it! Excellent theology in simple words possible without watering down the doctrine. I also loved how the author included references to back up each statement!
My only drawback would be that without illustrations or pictures, it is pretty heavy for children to assimilate. However, if they understand these truths at a young age, the will be blessed indeed!
This book is such an incredible resource for Christian families. My family just finished reading this as our dinner time read aloud and it was such a great read and discussion starter. The book definitely accomplishes its stated purpose to explain the gospel to children clearly. It is both thorough and easy to understand. Such a beautiful book! I highly recommend it!
