Dangerous Desires

This book is chaotic! This was my first read by this author and I enjoyed it so much. Drama, lies, and a whole bunch of toxic-ness. I can NOT wait for the next book!

July 26, 2022Toxicity on steroids is the best way to describe this madness. Franco and Frankie are both certifiable crazy. Let's see what happens in part 2.

Eh...this book was just ok. If you want to read about a toxic manipulative, gaslighting F-boy, his harem of exes he dogged out the whole book but who are too dumb and weak to love themselves and move on and the woman who's supposed to be the one for him who's also dumb because she's seen the signs shining in bright neon lights that he ain't shit. He even told her all the toxic things he's done to his baby mama and ex fiancée and still went for it then this book is for you. However, it wasn't for me. Franco aka Montana had little to no redeeming qualities. He truly is the epitome of a F-boy. Malique ain't all that bright because she knows he isn't any good but ignores it. Franco and Malique aren't a couple worth rooting for. Also the random side plot with her mom being in the mob made no damn sense. That literally came out of nowhere. The ending was also wtf. If you want a love story to swoon over. This ain't the story for you. If you want to read about a toxic MMC, stupid women and endless drama then this is the book for you. There's a second part to this book but it's unlikely I'll read it.

Whew....! Listen, at this point, I need to meet Simone and Frank, so I can figure out what they did to Franco and Frankie because both of them are a few crayons short of a box! If you like drama and toxicity this is for you! I enjoyed it despite me yelling it couldn't be me every few pages!

Lots of skimming
The story was a hodge podge of stuff and aggression. It wasn't for me but that doesn't mean another reader won't enjoy this type of story. The men were so disrespectful to the ladies. The writing style may not be a choice for me.

LOVE this cover!! It's why I picked it up to read.

I'm sure I'm about to get dragged for this comment, but let's talk! So, couple things. First, the characters fell hard and QUICK. Usually, I'm bout that, I just felt that it didn't make sense for the couple. Sis, went from let's link up as friends to dropping the draws real quick. So, for ME I felt like the connection was weird. Then homeboy's sister?? I'm sorry, if there's a fine line between asylum crazy and clingy, she's well over that line. I've never read any female that was like that. Did not care for her at alllllll. Found myself skimming her parts.
Overall, okay read. On the fence on whether I will read part two. Let me know your thoughts!

cliffhanger ending….

bwoy hanestly me nuh know wah fi seh!! like i liked the book but at the same time i didnt!! the only people in this shii that i could tolerate was Malique and Montana and Koi and Nay..everybody else? annoyed tf outta me🫤 Frankie’s delusion? lordttttt she needs help!! Amara and Summer annoying asf and Kure nigga bye asf!😭 bruh like i loved the drama in this shii but i hated it at the same time..bruh idek know it’s like a love hate relationship! and now Montana crazy ass is out in the open and i gotta wait for part 2!!!

Great Read and Funny
Wow….this story had a lot of good one liners. I laughed a lot! I enjoyed crazy Montana. I enjoyed Malique and Montana being together as a couple. I did not except Malique to give Levi a beat down at the baby shower. I enjoyed Koi and Nay and Frankie and Kure as couples. Each one was so different. I am so ready for Part 2. I want to read how Montana get out of the murder charges 😂😃.

Good book. I liked it better than part 1. I can definitely see the development between the 2. I feel bad about what happened between Montana and Levi. Does Levi get a spin off too??? For the first half of the book I thought I was reading the same book with just different characters lol, frankie is def a young levi. The storyline with Mona was a little odd and seemed misplaced but I guess it worked out in the end. Overall, good fast paced entertaining read!

I think Frankie got Montana beat in the crazy department
Man Frankie and Montana are super psycho crazy but I can't stop watching what they do next! That Levi though!! Man!! I'm ready to see what happens next for Malique and Montana but I need my girl to go ahead and get that hearing aid!!

Part 2 me!
This book was full of chaos and I was here for it all. Summer and Amara got on my nerves. I understand what Franco was doing to them was wrong but they should have been left him alone. I wasn't surprised that he showed up when he did toward the end, and I don't know why Malique acted so surprised. I can't wait for part 2.

Where do I begin? It’s so much to say and not enough characters to type. Everyone in this book was is crazy except for Nay lol. I legit said WTF after almost every chapter. Excited for book 2..

I enjoyed reading about Malique and Montana. There was commitment and love for each other from day one. Montana and his sister are crazy. Love to know how everything plays out with each couple.

I love leaving the unhinged and funny hood books for my weekend reads. Montana is nuts LMFAO but funny asf I can’t wait to see what happens next with Levi, Frankie and Kure too

Crazy. Messy. MESSY!
We need part 2 ASAP. This whole story was a crazy mess but it was the kind of mess I enjoyed. Franco is a nutjob and it’s strange how I don’t mind his craziness but I’m side eyeing Frankie for doing near enough the same thing! Also I think the whole Malique’s mum stuff could have been left out. It was too far fetched.
