Life in The Zones is dangerous for anyone who refuses to suppress their true nature. Alphas and Omegas mysteriously disappear, sent to suffer the unspeakable fates that await them in The Territories. For Trish, keeping a steady supply of suppressing medication is a struggle both financially and logistically, but a black market supply is rumored to exist if she's willing to risk sneaking into The Territories to find it.
As she enters The Territories, her worst fears are Trish is definitely an Omega. But the Alpha who claims her is more than just the one to whom she must surrender. Jordan is a Daddy Dom, and his protective instincts are as strong as his desire to possess Trish in every way. As she learns that much of what she's been led to believe about her true nature is a lie, can Trish give in to the passion Jordan ignites within her and accept her place as his Little too?
After Darkest Dawn,i was heartbroken, and needed something, anything,to soothe my soul. His Omega Babygirl is the medicine i needed,a beautiful glimpse into the future of this world. Thank you Sinistre Ange, for giving me Jordan and Trish’ story!
This quick glimpse into the future of Jordan shows an Alpha that’s as strong and determined as he was when i left him. But he’s matured, and in need of a sweet Omega babygirl. One to cherish, pamper, punish, pleasure and claim as his. After he saw Trish for the first time,he knew she was the one,but he needed to be patient. She lived in Zone One,and having been fed lies about the Alpha’s in the Territory all her life, denied herself her true nature by taking suppressants. Only, those didn’t work as they should anymore…..and he could smell her Omega coming through. Which meant it was time to stake his claim.
Trish hated going to the Territory for her suppressants, but she had no choice. She couldn’t take the risk of finding out she was an Omega, and being taken by Alpha’s until she was torn apart. The stories she’d heard were bad enough, and having seen an Omega being captured and taken away by a ruthless Alpha was proof they stood no chance against them! And then disaster struck…..only the Alpha didn’t act the way she thought he would. Her reaction to him,to his smell and his purr, wasn’t what she expected either….
Seeing Jordan again,in his prime and ready to claim his own Omega, was wonderful. Seeing Marek and Laura was a beautiful bonus, and knowing Zadia was still there as well…. Malachi hasn’t lost his mind,thankfully…..but he really needs a sweet Omega of his own!!! Even though this was a short story,i enjoyed it very much. And knowing Sinistre Ange plans to return to this world in the future is fabulous news!
Spoilers ahead This was a quick read about an Omega travelling to the territories to buy scent blocker and the Alpha who claims her
**** It was short and I'll say ended without proper closure, one minute she was unwilling to go along with the daddy/little sort of relationship then in the epilogue she's calling him daddy Without the body betrayal of her dynamic she wouldn't have been with him. He didn't take the time to ease her into the relationship he just told her to call him daddy and went from there 🤷🏿♀️ Idk it was just too short to properly deliver
Thoughts while reading If blondes are so rare but he's blond and so is she, supposing she's his sister 🤭
Omega Trish goes into her first heat in Alpha Territory; luckily (or unluckily), Jordan finds her. I've never read an Omegaverse/DDlg mash-up before, but thought that elements of the latter mitigated some of the "darker" tropes of the former; since I'm not a "dark" fan, this was a relief. The relatively complex world-building (Alpha hierarchies, and critiques of class, slum-tourism, drug price-gouging (the cost of insulin comes to mind), and totalitarianism) leads me to believe that this may be the start of a new series. Note: This is Golden Angel's pseudonym.
4 stars. The ending was very abrupt and incomplete -- even for its abbreviated length. I understand what the author accomplishes with that final line, but I was still dissatisfied.
I'm just going to go ahead and call myself out. KU really needs to have a 'parental' control option for ADHD mood readers because in the middle of the night ISTG I cannot be trusted to make good choices.
Was this awful? Nah, it's 70 pages of exactly what it claims to be; Daddy-Dom dystopian Mad Max Omegaverse.
Then why am I giving it only 2 stars if it's all my fault because I can't control my impulses??? Well sh*t, let me tell you. I am open to all kinda of ridiculousness in books because it's art and it's someone's imagination given form, BUT I'm starting to be a bit more critical when that 'given form' morphs perception of the reality.
Da fuq does that mean? You label something Daddy-Dom but really it's just a stalker romance sprinkled with Stockholm Syndrome. Now, if it had been described as such I'd prob give it 3 stars :)
I’m a sucker for a great omega/alpha story, this is not it. Banal, predictable characters. The lead FMC has spirit but looses it quickly. We have no idea about anything regarding the alpha, he might as well be invisible, except for his ‘parts’. The females were childish (colouring like 5 years olds) and treated like children. There is an unsavoury element of pedophilia in this book that really soured my stomach. There should be triggers, unless I missed them to warn people about the dynamics. Overall, poorly written, very weak story telling and a very unsatisfactory ending. Don’t bother with this. The authors ‘nom de plume’ should have warned me this would be a stinker. Thank goodness it is less than 100 pages.
TW - rape (frequently mentioned as the fate of an omega, instances of the FMC finding light in coming to terms with the potential of this being her reality), financial and food insecurity / poverty, sexual harassment (past, implied), stalking, blood, murder, graphic violence, kidnapping, orphans, pregnancy (discussed), unprotected sex
I got this book on a stuff your kindle day fuck knows when ago because omegaverse (duh?) and it’s done the job of a good palette cleanser between books / in a slump.
It’s a short story at under 100 pages and follows and alpha and omega that succumb to their instincts with an omega who has to come to terms with the fact that nearly everything she’s been told about alphas and omegas isn’t true.
Scale: ⭐️ - would've DNF'ed / continued out of spite ⭐️⭐️ - shit, but whatever ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - meh, could've been better ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - lit 👅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - loved it, inject this shit into my veins 🤪
This book made me feel so icky at times. The dub-con was super heavy and it really didn't even feel like dub-con because she said no and told him not to but he did it anyway, all under the guise of the omega hormones. The infantilization of her really got me. I've read plenty of daddy-dom, but the fact that he didn't even allow her to feed herself despite the fact that she asked for some semblance of independence and he said no... there was ZERO communication in this relationship.
This was a well written engaging story. I gave it four stars because I'm not a fan of daddy/little girl stories. Otherwise I always enjoy Sinister Ange/Golden Angel novels.
Got this during Stuff Your Kindle Day. I would have been heated if I paid for this. The writing was meh. Nothing engaging, unique, or worth continuing. It felt like when you have a word count on a homework assignment and you bs until you meet it. In hindsight it wasn't much better than a book report written by a 6th grader. I can't wait to delete it from my Kindle library and forget I ever heard of it.
I need to stop and think before starting a book, or at least have someone take away my book privileges. I don't even like the Dom/Sub genre. After booktok introduced me to all sorts of romance options I didn't know I had, I have fallen in the terrible and yet awesome habit of indulging any ridiculous thing that comes across my path.
This is 70 pages of silly smut. Don't try to enjoy it as a story. You won't. There isn't one. And what is there calls itself 'Daddy Dom' but its really just Stockholm syndrome and abuse, but not even in a good 'dark rom' way. More in a, I wish I could unread this kind of way. I cringe every time he demands to be called Daddy, and even harder when he calls her 'little girl' if I wasn't reading this on kindle it would have been thrown across the room.
Just like a bad one night stand I would have DNF'd except I didn't realise how short it was and before I knew it we were finished. Disappointed, left wanting more and giggling manically at how bad it was.
Will this give me pause the next time I pick up an obviously trashy smut trap? No. No it won't.
Simple and short, but a whollllllle lot of dubcon going on… if you can even call it that.

🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: Novellas can be great, but sometimes they’re just eh and this was one of those moments.
The entire novellas, up until the end, she’s still crying and not happy he’s taken her. So I got no closure… and as a reader I definitely need that. There was some solid spice if you’re ok with non/dub con… but nothing romantic about this one.
This story had a surprising amount of world building considering how short it was, and that was what I found most interesting. I liked the world with all the secrets and such that the author created. The romance? Ehh… there were a couple cute parts but that’s about it. The sex was sex… that’s about it. Definitely needed a dub-con and non-con trigger warning. It didn’t bother me, but I’d much rather have a warning so I’m prepared for what I’m reading.
This story does what it’s intended to do, I think, and three stars is fine for that even if I don’t appreciate the way it was done. Due to how forceful Jordan was and the fact that he didn’t really explain anything to Trish… it ruined the dynamic for me personally.
I loved this read. Characters beautifully woven together in a dystopia future. Trish is desperately trying to get medication to suppress her instincts as everyone she knows does. This leads her down a dangerous path into unlawful territory. Jordan has been watching Trish for months, every time she comes to get her pills, the medication is wearing off though and he can smell what she is. His. A brutal reality that is not as expected. A great read with interesting characters and a detailed story. I loved the character interactions and plot development. I highly recommend this read and author. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
His Omega Babygirl, by Sinstre Ange & #SinstreAnge is a new to me author, who also writes under @goldeniangel & #RaisaGreywood (both authors on my never-ending #tbr list!) This is a quick read at only 66 pages. Trish is headed to the Territories to get cheaper suppressants for her Omega hormones. Jordan is an Alpha & Daddy Dom. Trish’s suppressors are failing & Jordan scents her, then claims her in front of his Alpha to prove he is Trish’s mate. Jordan calls her little girl & Babygirl & tells her she must call him Daddy or she will get spankings. She goes through her first heat with her Daddy & mates with him. This was a cute story!
I read this book on a whim, wanting to get some experience with omegaverse. The writing style was really well done and I like that we got a fair bit of background on our characters and it didn’t ever feel pointless. This is a nice short read that shows dominance, but also cute and supportive partnerships, and I even like the aspects of miscommunication as a form of control from like government is kind of an interesting thing to bring into this universe. Overall an enjoyable read that I would recommend anybody who wants to read omegaverse.
I hated how Jordan forced her into a lifestyle it seemed he wasn't even super familiar with, let alone, I don't know, something crazy like explaining anything to her? All she is allowed is secondhand information and what assumptions she can make in a wildly unfamiliar place. This just gave me the ick, on so many levels. Trish deserved so much better than she got, and just accepting fate or being complacent screamed trauma to me and I don't love that at all.
They try to suppress their hormones with drugs so that no one can tell if they are a beta or an omega because omegas are the only ones that can birth more omegas as well as the larger and stronger alphas. On her way to buy the drugs to suppress her hormones on the black market for cheap having already missed a day, Trish finds herself in the path of an alpha who has come to claim her in all ways.
I was in a book slump. This book ticked all my boxes of intrigue. I knew that it was a short book...and yet...I wasn't prepared with how much I wanted to keep reading long after the story was finished. This book could have easily been lengthened into a book and I'm keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that the author will return to this story and turn it into and even better and hotter book.
4 stars is awesome and will only read once. 3 stars is I enjoyed it. Was a very quick story. Felt like it was missing a bit more build up to her learning about the territories and how Alphas and Omegas, not to mention Daddy/Little Girl relationships work. Worth the read if you like all of that.
This was the first book that I’ve read by Sinistre Ange and it will probably be the last. I am not a fan of the dark side romance stories. Although the book was short, she did do a good job with the writing of this book. Since it is part of a series, I don’t think that I will know the back story of each character.
This is a very good, well written story about a different, darker look at DD/lg. the characters are well developed and interesting. There are a few triggers, be warned. There is a lot of heat. Read and enjoy.
This book is off the charts amazing. It has been awhile since I read a book by this author. I am so glad I picked this one. Jordan and Trish are phenomenal together. The writing and flow of this book is top notch. I beyond recommend this book.
Whatever you do, do not read this book at work, or in public! Unless you like that kind of thing. I do wish there was more to the story, how she learned the truth of the Zones and we see her trusting him more. Overall this is an amazing quick read!
My first story from this author. It was an okay short story. A quick spicy read. It would've made a better full novel because it had all the basics to go there but either way it was okay.
Awesome short read. I loved the dynamic between them, Jordan trying to be everything while Trish fights because she didn't realise she was an omega and believing the lies from the zones about alphas and omegas in the territories.
Was he a caveman? I’m all for a werewolf romance but couldn’t get passed the non-con and the infantilising. Especially at the end when she just goes along with it but we know from the chapter before she was still very much unwilling.
