Sometimes all you need is a good ya romance that is heartwarming while also being sad.

This was a perfect read, especially after so many heavy books, I really needed it.

Everything About You grabbed my attention with the gorgeous cover and it was a good indicator of how the book would go. This was bright and colorful, the descriptions vivid and the characters felt alive, the romance was cute and the message about values is important. The only “bad” thing about this book is that it ends, I could've read it for many more pages. I know the ending will haunt me, but the characters will also stay in my mind for a good while.

Please read it once it comes out, you won't regret it!

Thank you to Harper Collins for an advance copy to review!

There is something so incredibly magical about the way that Robby Weber writes. His characters are flawed and messy and “unlikeable” and I LOVE THEM EVERY TIME.

Milo is such a great character. He’s driven, thoughtful, caring, scared, lovely, hurt, and anxious. He’s funny and smart. He’s planned out his life and he goes for broke. He won an apprenticeship in Paris and he’s ready for the summer of his life.

But boy oh boy does summer have something else planned for him…

I absolutely LOVED this story. Milo is so genuinely easy to root for even when he makes mistakes. I just wanted to hold his hand. I also loved how fleshed out Rhodes was as a character. I loved their relationship growth and oh my GOD that first kiss was so so so so so so epic. I even messaged Robby right after. 😂

I also really love how Robby doesn’t shy away from letting his characters fail. Epically. He puts them through it and honestly, it makes his stories so much stronger. He lets his characters breathe and find their way. The endings are so rich and this one had tears streaming down my face.

I also loved how Robby approached anxiety, depression, and loneliness in this book. I felt very very seen.

Anyway go preorder and request from your library and read this book cause it’s absolutely magical in all the best ways. @robbyreads - ily and this book!

This was super cute!
I was excited to read Robby Weber's new book, Everything About You, because I really enjoyed his previous novel, What Is This Feeling?. While I wasn’t initially convinced by the Paris setting, since I’m not a big fan of France in general, the author managed to capture the city in a way that felt atmospheric and beautiful. It truly came alive on the page, making me appreciate its charm despite my reservations.

The story also delves into the fashion industry, which isn’t a topic I usually gravitate towards. However, Weber made it accessible and engaging, ensuring that even readers without prior interest in fashion could still follow along and enjoy the narrative.

One of the biggest surprises for me was Rhodes. At first, I expected him to be the typical arrogant celebrity who rests on his fame and looks down on others. But I was completely wrong, he turned out to be a genuinely kind and lovable character, and I grew really fond of him.

The protagonist, Milo, was extremely ambitious, which sometimes made him come across as overly intense. I can see how some readers might find him unlikable, but I personally understood where he was coming from. He was always very self-aware, which made his character feel realistic and well-developed.

Overall, Everything About You was an enjoyable and engaging read with a wonderful writing style and plenty of Parisian charm. It’s a great book for anyone looking for a quick yet heartfelt story with a vibrant setting and compelling characters.

Thanks to Edelweiss and Storytide/HarperCollins for the e-ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Everything About You by Robby Weber

In Everything About You, Robby Weber crafts a compelling and emotional story about Milo, a driven high school graduate determined to make a name for himself in the competitive world of fashion. After landing a prestigious apprenticeship at Maison Dauphine in Paris, Milo believes the summer will solidify his future. However, his dreams are complicated when he learns that only one of the two apprentices—himself or Rhodes Hamilton, a charming and talented fellow intern—will be offered a permanent position at the end of the season.
As Milo and Rhodes navigate their high-pressure apprenticeship, what starts as fierce competition begins to evolve into a complex and unexpected bond. Weber skillfully develops their relationship from enemies to lovers, capturing the tension, rivalry, and simmering attraction between the two. The emotional depth of their connection is matched by the personal struggles both characters face. For Milo, his journey isn't just about competing for a job—he also grapples with the impact of his Generalized Anxiety Disorder, which affects his interactions, decision-making, and ability to connect with others.
Weber’s portrayal of anxiety is particularly poignant, highlighting how it manifests in subtle ways, from self-doubt to overwhelming pressure. Through Milo’s eyes, readers get an intimate understanding of the emotional landscape he navigates daily. The tension between Milo and Rhodes is palpable, shifting between moments of rivalry, vulnerability, and quiet intimacy. Their relationship isn't just about love—it's about learning to confront fears, break down walls, and allow themselves to be seen for who they truly are.
The setting in Paris adds an extra layer of glamour and charm, immersing readers in a world of fashion and ambition. Yet, at its heart, Everything About You is a deeply human story about growth, competition, and understanding. It's about the difficult choices we make for the future, the battles we fight within ourselves, and the unexpected connections that change everything.
Robby Weber’s Everything About You is an insightful, emotionally charged story that resonates long after the final page is turned. With a beautifully crafted narrative, relatable characters, and a touching exploration of mental health, this novel is a must-read for fans of romance and contemporary fiction. I give it a solid 5/5 stars and eagerly anticipate more from Robby Weber in the future.

(I’m super late okay sorry)

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the advance listening copy of Everything About You by Robby Weber!
I thought the audiobook production was really solid — the narration kept me engaged and definitely helped pull me through the story. That said, I did feel like the plot started to lag in the middle. It felt a bit repetitive at times, like we were cycling through the same conflict without much movement, which slowed down the momentum for me.

I didn’t walk away feeling like this will be one that lives rent free in my head, but I still enjoyed the overall experience — and I have to say, the COVER? Absolutely gorgeous. One of those books I’d love to display face out just for the vibes alone.

Overall, a decent read with strong audio execution, even if the story itself didn’t fully stick the landing for me.

I think it's time for me to say that Robby Weber just might not be for me as an author. he writes characters that are cis, white and gay and that's pretty much all of the queer representation we get. I end up having the same kind of mediocre feeling at the end of each of his books and this is the third one I've given a shot and I just don't think I will be reading anymore.

now this book isn't bad and it was a semi-enjoyable book. I just am bored. I want more out of my queer books and I know that this representation is going to be great for some people. but for me personally I need to see more than conventionally attractive cis white gay men on the page.

Thank you to netgalley and Storytide for providing and eCopy of this novel!

When I started this story, I was under the impression that I wasn't necessarily a fan of nepo babies, but that I didn't mind them as long as they aware of their privilege. However, after reading this book, I learned that I actually hate nepo babies. Milo treated Rhodes horribly. And normally, when a teenager acts irrationally in a YA novel, I just kind of roll my eyes and wait for them to see the error of their ways. But in this book I was fully on Milo's side (I'm honestly still kind of on Milo's side).
Anyway though, while I enjoyed this novel, I thought the romance was the worst part. To start, I just don't understand it. Why was Rhodes even into Milo at all? Milo treated Rhodes horribly the entire time, yet Rhodes still wanted to be in a relationship with him. It just didn't make any sense. I would have understood it more if it was just built up resentment on Milo's part, but he was vicious. Milo told Rhodes off on multiple occasions and tried to sabotage him. Yet Rhodes still wanted to date Milo.
I also didn't like how Milo was basically willing to give up his dream because of his relationship with Rhodes. It was just really disappointing. Like really? You are willing to give up everything for a boy you started dating a couple weeks ago?
Even though I found the romance disappointing, I did like Milo and his passion to succeed. I was also happy that this book had repercussions. These repercussions weren't always right away, but it's always nice when you actually get cause and effect in a story.
I like the core plot and messaging of this book, but the romance just really didn't work for me.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book.

My feelings reading this were a literal rollercoaster, there were times when I felt Milo was being ridiculous and others where I agreed with him slightly, while still feeling like he was mostly in the wrong. Rhodes was a character I expected to dislike based on the first meeting but he became my favorite.

I originally felt that Milo was so right to be upset about a nepo baby coming in and stealing his thunder at his apprenticeship. I figured Rhodes would be a self-centered jerk who wasn’t actually good at the role or just there to get someone off his back, but what we got was someone who was a hard worker and cared about the brand/ making a name for himself outside his family. Rhodes tried to befriend Milo several times and kept trying to make things work out for both of them despite the circumstances they found themselves in.

I feel like “enemies” to lovers can’t work when the main character makes an enemy out of someone based on preconceived notions that spirals out of control because the MC chooses to see everything from a perspective of manipulation, which had no basis in reality. Meanwhile the other MC Rhodes continues to try to win Milo over, but at almost 50% I realistically have spent more time being nervous about what would set Milo off next.

But because of all of this it was interesting to see Milo change and grow as a person, even if it was because he was starting to lose everything and it could be seen as him changing for selfish reasons, but he becomes like a different character and starts thinking about someone other than himself, which made for some good character growth.

In the end, I realize this just wasn’t the book I thought it would be, but it was still a cute coming of age story, that teaches a couple of great life lessons.

Cute book! The concept drew me in instantly but sadly the actual book fell a little flat for me in terms of characters. The characters were okay, both of our main characters both had their good moments and more annoying moments. I really liked Milo at the start of the book but then his competitiveness really made me dislike him after a while. Rhodes was a bit better but felt naive at times. The plot was fun, I really loved being behind the scenes of the Paris fashion industry and it really delivered on the Paris vibes.

If you're craving a cute easy read with Paris vibes, check this one out!

Everything About You sees Milo and Rhodes competing at a coveted internship at a fashion house in Paris- which they hope will eventually lead to one of them working the show of the season and a job. Rhodes has all the privileges and nepotism advantages and most of this makes him insufferable as a character. And because this is a YA novel, Milo cannot help but want him.
I think the lack of development into Rhodes makes it hard for the reader to be able to see past his horrible behavior towards Milo as he tries to outshine him. I also found it unappealing that Milo was so quickly willing to give up his lifelong dream to go on a date with the guy who is treating him like trash.
The writing style was good and I think this would have been rated higher if I didn't have an immediate dislike for Milo.

This was published 9/9/2025 and I received an advanced copy (sort of) from Netgalley in exchange for my review.

This book was so good!!! I read this in 3 days should've been 2 cause of how short the chapters are and this book is a m/m romance set in Pairs and wow it was such a cute but also had some heavy topics in this one!! I wasn't expcecting a character death in a ya contemporary and I won't say who for spoilers reasons but just read this book it gave me all of the feelings! I was happy sad and laughing out loud at points. I love the bickering we had between our two main character it was so good!!
I need more from Robby his writing was so easy to fall in love with this book and made me feel like I was in pairs as well... I never been but now I do!!

Milo gets the apprenticeship of his dreams working with a renowned fashion house, and in Paris! It’s the perfect set up: living in Paris with his best friend Celeste and on the road to a permanent job with the fashion house. That is, until things go awry at the very beginning. A family emergency pulls Celeste back home and Milo quickly learns he’s not the only apprentice for the summer. Rhodes is the son of a famous footballer in London, and Milo is convinced he bought his way into the apprenticeship. With only one job offer waiting at the end of the apprenticeship, Milo has to win by any means necessary…too bad he starts to fall for Rhodes along the way.

This was such a cute YA queer romcom! It has all the essentials: #EnemiesToLovers, Paris, fashion, a London boy; it’s the perfect queer love story! The flirtatiousness between Milo and Rhodes is so adorable and endearing, and being set in a competitive fashion house was such a fun way to bring the two together. Fans of Emily in Paris or the Devil Wears Prada will love this heartwarming summer romance.

Reviewed as part of #ARC from #NetGalley. Many thanks to Harper Collins/Storytide for the #gifted copy in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!

Just when I thought I would be done with his books, he pulls me back in with this one.

This isn’t My Favorite by him. My Favorite is still “I like You Better” But I like this much better than his other ones.

I wasn’t a huge fan of all the fashion stuff because I’m just not really into that but that is my fault for picking up this book knowing that that’s what it would be about. I just didn’t get as invested in Care as much as they did.

I liked Milo at times, he was very funny. He frustrated me sometimes too, but Robby Weber likes to write complex main characters! I just thought he was unfair to Rhodes a lot, at least in the relationship aspect. I completely understand where he is coming from with some of the nepo baby stuff, but when they were together he kept pushing Rhodes away. I get Rhodes’ frustration on one minute it was totally fine and the next Milo didn’t want anything to do with him.

Spoilers for the end of the book, but I am actually glad how it ended! I am glad it was more open ended. The way their relationship was going throughout the book, it would have been way too unrealistic if they just ended up together. This way I can imagine they will eventually work it out, but it wasn’t forced or rushed at the end. I think even if there was a time skip I wouldn’t have been a fan of that either.

Honestly I could see them maybe not working out relationship wise and just staying good friends, and I wouldn’t mind that either! That is partially why I am happy it ended the way it did.

I thought some things didn’t really need to be in there, like the addition of his friend Celeste and his brother, even though I appreciate that Weber incorporates those brother relationships in his novels, especially because they are healthy. Even the plot with his mom didn’t really need to be in there in my opinion, but it didn’t ruin the book either for me.

Milo is ready to live the dream after he moves to Paris to begin an apprenticeship at a prestigious fashion house. He's ready to work hard and prove to all the doubters that there's a reason he was chosen for this opportunity. This will be even harder when he arrives on his first day at work to discover that the position he'd thought was his is now a competition with Rhodes Hamilton, tabloid staple, and the son of a famous model and footballer. Now, Milo will have to prove he's willing to work hard while doing his hardest to keep from falling for Rhode's easy charm.

It's a sweet popcorn romance that's full of the 'my life will end if this doesn't work' anxiety of youth, balanced by characters who feel grounded even as they're larger than life and living an unrealistic situation. A little bit of escapist realism aimed at teens that tells a funnily sweet story while driving forth a message that things don't always have to go exactly as planned for you to find your happiness.

I really enjoyed the narration by Mark Sanderlin because he effectively gives each character a distinctive voice and accent, making it easy to tell them apart during the many scenes of perfect back-and-forth banter.

My one nitpick is that Rhodes falls a little flat when it comes to character development. He's a bit of a fantasy with few moments to display the flaws that would make him a more relatable partner who can grow with Milo.

Very happy thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for the sweet listen!

Everything About You is a fun young adult romance that follows Milo to France after he has been awarded a prestigious internship at a very reputable fashion house. Geared up and ready for his first day he finds himself suddenly in competition with Rhodes, whose celebrity connections (mom, dad, and brother) tend to also make him a household name. Off to a rocky start with their futures at risk, these two have to decide if they are going to be friends, enemies, or something in between.

We follow Milo and Rhodes to see where this journey will take them. In a story that centers on romance we get a unique look into navigating complicated family dynamics, work colleagues, and discovering what you want for your future. This book captured the intense emotional waves that come with adolescence and finding yourself. Our characters and their wishy washy natures and back forth really demonstrates this plight, while at times it can feel repetitive I think it truly captures how intense emotions can be when it feels like everything you worked for is at stake, and that is complicated by feelings you both want to have and don't want to have.

If you want a book that explores hidden depths while its character exemplifies teen emotional experiences, I would check this out. It was a good read and I very much enjoyed it! Thank you to the publisher for providing an advanced readers copy via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

3 ☆

I found this book easy to read and the first 40% flew by, but after that started to lose some interest. I found Milo to be endearing while equally insufferable, but in a realistic way. As a 19-year-old, it felt true to how dramatic and over the top those of us coming of age can be. Rhodes not so much, his voice felt a bit off. I think as a British person I think I was a bit more sensitive to this compared to others, but his tone and language essentially felt too ‘posh’ when he's new money rich. Ultimately you can just tell he was written by an American. He was still a fun character to follow, and quite sweet and charming. I did enjoy the side characters, Noel probably being my favourite. The setting was really nice to be in, I found it vivid, atmospheric and enjoyed exploring Paris with these characters.

I found the dialogue lacking and I think this aspect of the story was the crux of this book. Conversations felt out of place, the way characters speak felt in ways unnatural and unbelievable. In ways it was info-dumpy and a bit jarring. This made the relationship kind of hard to root for.

Ultimately this book did what it needed to do. I did quite like the first 40%, but later half did have me a bit bored. Just a middle of the road for me.

ALC 🎧 Book Review 🤍

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a cute lil queer romance 🫶🏽
Did Milo pmo half the damn time?
You bet he did lmfao.

BUT he’s 18, he’s learning from his mistakes. Not everyone can be perfect & privileged like Rhodes— Not saying Milo wasn’t privileged.

Milo def jumped the gun so many times while poor Rhodes was just upfront about all his intentions— Minus that one time…
But we’re letting that slide ‘cause he just knew Milo was moving weird!!
+ The way he was just soooo competitive drove me crazy like pls, just take your L in silence. Esp the friendly tennis match? Insane.

I just hate that Rhodes had to go through all of that & I definitely feel he deserved better!!
Did Milo redeem himself though? I feel like he did & I felt that the ending we were given was well suited.

“His touch is alchemising, like he’s Midas and the only thing I want is to turn golden. To match everything about Rhodes.”

Overall, this was a cute read— I loved Milo & Celeste’s friendship, esp how Gram wanted them all to be happy, including Milo? That just shows how locked in they were. So curious to see the next chapter of this story!!
Mark Sanderlin did a good job narrating 🤍

Robby Weber's Everything About You is an endearing coming of age story set in beautiful Paris.

Milo is 18 and has an incredible chance at an apprenticeship for a fashion house in France. Being a young adult finding independence is hard enough, but in another country? He also deals with a lot of anxiety, and this is a strong theme throughout the story. Robby has done a wonderful job with this mental health representation.

Rhodes is a bit of a celebrity and has had to handle life in very different ways from Milo. Both of them struggle to figure out adulthood while still balancing expectations of family and friends. And they learn lessons along the way about each other and not making assumptions.

I also  loved that while this was a queer relationship, it wasn't in any way an issue. Queer normative stories are so important!

This story was filled with so many wonderful moments, great friendships, growth, and young love. Get this book and come along on this sweet adventure!

A Joyfully Jay review.

4 stars

I thought this would devolve into the standard Young Adult competition-romance, but it had some appreciated depth. Rhodes is actually a great guy looking to make his own way. He’s admirable and kind, honest and fair-minded. He’s grown up in a fishbowl, and has faced a lot of criticism from his family and the world at large. Rhodes’ desire to have a normal life with reasonable dreams is relatable, and sets him up favorably against Milo’s borderline-paranoid, anxiety-driven impulsiveness.

The end is happy, though Milo’s late summer and post-internship transitions gave an impression of tying everything up as tight as possible, as quickly as possible. We didn’t get a lot of time to bask in Milo’s glow, but at least we know he’s off and running into his successful future.

Thank you to Robby Weber and HarperCollins Children's Books | Storytide for the advanced reading copy in exchange for honest review.

Robby... we have to talk. How did you enter my brain? Tennis player with anxiety in Florida who wants to work for a legendary fashion house... literally describes me in high school. Everything in this book felt like it was picked from my life and I think the writing really leaves room for everything to find pieces of themselves, even if they are not as specific. I loved the story obviously, but even more so, I loved the writing around anxiety. It felt real and natural. So often, discussions of mental health can feel like an afterthought, but Robby's writing allows room for the topic to breathe and resonate deeply.

My only real issue with the book is that the ending felt really rushed. The last 30% of the book gave me whiplash and it felt like some of the moments could have used more fleshing out to be truly impactful. But overall, a gorgeous story. Will be reading everything Robby puts out.

The concept of a fashion apprenticeship in Paris immediately sold me! This one really delivers on both Paris description and life behind the scenes working at a fashion house, but there were a few elements that held me back from loving it. I wasn't the biggest fan of the way the dialogue is written, as there are so many mundane and unnatural conversations that don't flow, which made it really hard to get into the story. I also didn't really like Milo's competitive attitude. While I understand where he's coming from, and that the author is intentional with his actions, Milo isn't a character who I really wanted to root for. As one final note, this book uses a lot of French, but I noticed errors and awkward sentences that I hope are fixed in the final version. All this said, Everything About You is still a fun read, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the world of fashion.

I would first like to thank Netgalley for providing this copy of the book Everything About You in exchange for an honest review.

I think this book just wasn’t for me. There were a few things that I liked about the story like some of the side characters and the setting. However, a lot of this story was just a little bit disappointing for me personally. I found the story to be a bit slow on the plot for me. I didn’t really enjoy that part. The main characters were really annoying to me as well, which made it hard for me to read.

I almost DNF’d this book at about 35% ish but I kept going and I think I should have listened to my instincts. I did like the type of open ending the story left at the end, but I didn’t really enjoy much of the journey getting there. The spicy level was a level 1.

Overall, I would rate this book a 3 out of 5 star rating. Not my favorite book but for those who are a big fan of coming-of-age romance stories this might be your cup of tea.

ARC REVIEW: This book was such Emily in Paris vibes, and I ATE IT UP! SO SO CUTE! He bought him macaroons and they had a romantic candle dinner, they went on a bookstore date and made out between the shelves. What's not to love! A romance in Europe with rival office vibes.

Exect: Rivals in business, fashion industry, French internship, European rich boy x American poor boy, third act break up, spirit of competition.

the beginning of this book really caught my attention but it started losing me a bit over time. it’s not that the book was bad just that the characters felt a bit flat to me. and milo was honestly a bit insufferable as a mmc to me, i mean he kept making terrible choices and still managed to get out of the situation without much implications.

overall the book was a decent read but there’s definitely things about it that i personally would’ve changed to make the story flow and end better.

I did not enjoy this book unfortunately. It sounded so good, and I actually really liked reading about the main character Milo, he was fun and driven, but I truly hated Rhodes. I would have enjoyed this more if it wasn’t a romance, and it just focused on Milo’s character development and his apprenticeship.
