The problem with falling for noble alphas is that they make you want to be noble, too.
As an unregistered omega hiding among the beta elite, my life was never simple. Now I'm a notorious fugitive, and the secret head of the alphomic underground wants me to become the public figurehead in a new revolution.
I always said I wanted to make a difference in the world, but that was before I had a taste of what my life might have been like, in a different world. Pack. Mates. Pups. A life, instead of this constant battle to fight… to hide… to change things for the better.
Can I fight for our oppressed people, and also fight for my mates? Kam and I have pledged to join Jax, Alex, and Flynn's pack, but that means nothing if we're all dead or imprisoned.
The brutal leader of the Committee on Alphomic Suppression is gunning for us. A dangerous beta terrorist organization has a new weapon of mass destruction that only kills alphas and omegas. The world stands on the cusp of a new Dark Age.
My alphas will always fight for what's right. If I don't fight with them, do I even deserve them?

Secret Pack is a human omegaverse trilogy where the main character doesn't have to pick one person. It features protective alphas and the omegas who love them, but no shifters. Strap in for complicated pack relationships set against a backdrop of social upheaval. Series HEA guaranteed.
Ember Blaze is either three toddlers in a trench coat, or the new reverse harem omegaverse pen name of USA Today Bestseller R. A. Steffan. If you figure out which, let her know. In the meantime, enjoy growly alphas, sweet omegas, and hawt pansexual lovin’—all with a heaping side order of consent, because that shit’s important.
The last book in the series wrapped the plot up in a satisfying way.
The balance between the romance and the plot was a bit off in this one as the plot took up most of the space. I would've liked to have seen a bit more depth to the finally complete mating, but it wasn't poorly done and overall, I enjoyed the entire series.
Truth or Lie is the third book in this series and I was excited to see how it ended. Truth or Lie was a great ending to the series. It wraps everything up nicely and has a satisfying conclusion. There is plenty of relationship development going on as well as the plot line about alpha and omega rights continuing.
This book had a lot to resolve and I think it did it well, but at the same time I felt some parts felt a bit rushed, a bit repetitive and then other parts were really good. I was surprised when I was at 80% and there were so many things that still got to get resolved. For how slow the whole pace of the alpha and omega rights plot line went throughout the series it got resolved quite quickly. I also had some trouble remembering all the organizations and characters and who was who.
This was my first omegaverse series and I liked getting a feel for the genre. The way their biology shaped such a big part of who they are and how this influences their behavior was interesting with the heats, mating, knotting and more. I liked how the author handled it all. I also like the polyamory romance situation in this book. They really felt like one tight pack, although I wish Alex was part of it earlier as I never felt their bond with her as much as there isn't as much book time with her fully onboard. I also wasn't a fan of how she eventually got convinced to join it as I rather had it really come from inside herself and a realization she had.
The romance development was my favorite part of this book. While the fight for rights was an interesting one, at times it felt like a way to raise the stakes and create new issues or resolutions for the romance. It just didn't keep my attention as much in this book as the romance. And even for the romance I felt some scenes where a tad repetitive, while for other scenes I would've liked a bit more depth and impact. There is plenty of steam as well as sweet scenes. The epilogue really wrapped it all up well and shows a great future for the whole pack.
To summarize: Truth or Lie was a great ending to this series. I quickly read through it and was excited to see this pack get their happy ending. The epilogue is great and wraps it all up very nicely. I did feel the pacing and progression was a bit off at times. The romance part kept my attention more than the rights plot line. The rights plot line progresses very slowly throughout the whole series, but then suddenly gets wrapped up quickly toward the end. I also felt some scenes lacked a bit impact like when Alex finally decided to join the pack. I also wasn't a fan of how that happened. What I really liked about this book was seeing them all become one pack and the way they have each other's back. I thought their connection to eahc other was great and I had only wished that Alex had been part of it sooner so we could've seen more of how she fits in there. All in all this was a great series and I am happy with how it ended.
I didn't like this book as much as the other two, I believe I rated them 5 and 4 stars, and this was a 2 star (rounded up). I think It might be because this book is all about Alex and I never really liked/connected with her character. I'm also straight, so take my review of this book with that in mind. Because I'm sure that plays a big part, its hard for me to connect with sexualizing and romanticizing my own gender.
That being said I did buy a physical copy of this book, to finish out the series and also support this author, apparently this series isn't doing well sales wise. Which broke my heart, I LOVED the first two books, and the over arching story. I would have loved to see more from this universe, stories from other people fighting the same fight, but it sounds as if that's not going to be the case. which honestly sucks. For me, this series sits along side my two other favorite Omegaverse reads: Lola & the Millionaires: Part One and Pack Darling: Part One which I reread constantly.
I'll be keeping my eye out for any thing else this author releases
Let’s start with my disappointment. This book is pretty much just for closing up the plot. I felt like we didn’t delve as much into the characters (or their spicy times) which really is me bummed because I was here for them much more than the plot.
For the plot it was expected but still good. We got closure on everything and still had drama along the way.
For characters I was bummed we didn’t get more growth out of them and if we did it was such short scenes that I was a little upset.
Romance suffered the same thing where there wasn’t build up as much and when they acted on the feelings it was brief. The closest we got was just generally seeing their dynamic which was cute but again snippets. I was most disappointed that the bug pivotal relationship spots were covered so briefly unlike the first books. I would definitely say with that I lowered it on my spice scale because it just wasn’t as explicit or as lengthy in scenes. Also a little sad that it barely brought any heat in those scenes too.
Overall sad to see them go and sad a little disappointed by how it was all done but I still liked the book enough
This book was a mostly satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. The pack becomes whole. The alpha/omega subjugation problem gets handled. Everything is tied up neatly.
However, now that I've finished the series, I can definitely say that although I enjoyed the omegaverse portrayed, and the overall series plot was interesting, I was never able to fully feel connected to the characters. This was something I kept hoping would change as the series progressed, as we had more time to really get to know them. But it just never happened for me. A big reason for this I think is because the book kept jumping ahead in timeline. Weeks and sometimes months were jumped. It left me feeling disconnected to the story.
Overall, I liked the story, and I'm always looking to find omegaverse stories to enjoy. This was worth the read, but it also left me feeling a little bereft.
This was the last book in this gripping trilogy. I’m very sad it’s over. I thoroughly enjoyed all three books. The characterisation was excellent and the pace and story line held my attention from the beginning of the prequel to the very end of the series. I’m certainly going to keep an eye out for more of this authors work in the future.
Beautiful conclusion to this trilogy. I really enjoyed this very different take on shifter style romance. The way the author tackles prejudice and bigotry is well written, after all, much of this series can be applied to everyday life. The characters are interesting and develop throughout the story, giving them a fully rounded feel and the plot is also well thought out and engaging.
A good ending for this series. It’s an unfortunate truth that it’s much more likely for things to change when people in power are the ones affected. The things with Kam made me smile; he’s been thru so much and it was nice to see him have some positives aside from just the relationships.
Such an awesome world fully loaded with amazing content, characters, challenges, and new ways to truly make a better beautiful way to relate to human beings!!! Introspection is a definite plus in the utter enjoyment of this amazing world/story. Don’t miss out on the chance for wonderful reading pleasure.
This series is deliciously queer and doesn’t shy away from the hard pasts of the characters. That makes their HEA in this book even more sweet. Twisty reveals up until the end and a good conclusion with a better world our heroes fought for.
I can not imagine not reading this series. It is one of my favorites of the year. The first book was one of my first OV books and I will always recommend this series!
Still liked the plot and the geopolitics aspects of the book. The French was hit or miss. There's something about Flynn's characterization that bugs me. Otherwise a nice conclusion to an interesting series.
Sweet evening to the trilogy. I feel like there wasn’t as much action in this one and there was a lot of skipping forward, but in the end everything is neatly tied up in a satisfying package.
Truth or Lie was a satisfying conclusion to the Secret Pack trilogy. Our 5 main characters become a pack fully and get their happy endings, which made me teary eyed, they all deserve the world. We also got a shake-up of the status quo for alpha and omega rights.
I loved this series kept me reading and wanting to know more. I read all three in two and a half days Lol nothing got done around the house. Thank you for the third book and your donation to very worthy cause.
I loved this whole series from book one. Now at the conclusion of the packs story brings strong emotions and need for hugs as I am going to miss these characters.
This was a good close to the storyline! While I’m not usually a fan of ending books on a pregnancy/kids, it fit well with this book because of the previous installments.

Excellent cute ending to a brilliant series. It took me a little to get into book 2 but this one I blitzed through in 2 days, fast paced and tied up all loose ends.
Really well written and properly edited. A very engrossing story, touching and exciting. I especially loved the depth of character development and their emotional growth.
This was a great end to the story. I was happy for them and glad they got what they wanted. I also liked how the author wrote a big part at the beginning about not knowing about the current war would be happening when she wrote this book.
I purchased my copy via the author a week before official publication on Amazon. I've been desperately re-reading Books 1&2 waiting for the release. Not going lie, this book hangover hurts. I'm going to miss my boys Jax and Flynn but I'm so glad it was a HEA. I'll be reading this series again. And again. Annnnndddd again.

Absolutely loved this series from the beginning and it ended so wonderfully. I'm a sucker for a good HEA and this was perfect. I'll definitely be cycling through other books by this author as well.
