Quarantine Omega #5

Anointed Omega

Rate this book
Theirs to claim

Theirs to anoint

The Quarantine Zone is dying, and it's my fault.
Now, to set things right, I must give myself to the alphas. Five savage warriors with brutal muscles and piercing eyes who intend to share me in the most shameful ways imaginable. My rational mind is telling me to run, but my omega instincts are begging for the alphas' domination.

And in the Zone, instinct always wins.

Anointed Omega is the fifth and final story in the Quarantine Omega series. Each book in the series is a complete, self-contained romance, but together the books form an overarching saga. This story contains dark themes and intense scenes that might trigger some readers. No cheating, HEA guaranteed.

Twenty years have passed, what has changed?

Once again, Outsiders pose a threat to the life inside the zone. This one might just be the most dangerous one.

They have managed to destroy the Source. Without it, Alphas and Omegas will start to wither and die. However, their very own messenger of destruction just might be the thing to save everyone.

Ophelia is an Omega created in a laboratory, her body emitting a sort of anti-source. Without meaning to, she starts to fall in love with a pack of Alphas, children of the previous protagonists. Not just them.

Seraph, a physical manifestation of the Source and their teacher. Ophelia teaches him human emotion and they fall in love. He becomes her sixth mate.

The fate of the Zone is in their hands. A perfect ending to this series. Part of me wishes it were longer, but another part knows it would just end up fizzling out. Definite recommend, to anyone who likes werewolves and smutty romance stories with a touch of thriller.

When I start a Lizzy Bequin story I know two things: one, it will be a happy ending and two, it will be a wild ride getting there. I read hundreds of books a year and I’m pretty good at figuring out what will happen next as I read. And that’s ok. But oh my, not with this book. Not with most of Lizzy’s books. She keeps my attention rapt as she navigates the story boat but I have zero clue where we’re going next and I love it!

It’s been a while since I read the other books in this series but I was still able to follow the story without problems so I think this book, though connected to the others, also works well as a standalone. Ophelia is a wonderful heroine and her mates, all six of them (!!) have distinct personalities. The solution to the central problem of The Zone made sense and was super steamy lol. That’s all I want to say about the story without spoiling it.

And I loved that we got extra time to catch up with Embla (Stray Omega) in particular. She was my favourite character, and I’m guessing maybe Lizzy’s as well.

Wonderful storytelling, dystopian world, oodles of heat, 5 stars

My holiday meant I missed out on the ARC and I rarely do as I love Lizzy's books and I have been waiting for this one. So finally made some time and boy did I not regret it.

If you read the previous books, we are going a bit in the future.. Ophelia is an outsider, thinking her mission is to safe the zone, and we all know that is not needed.

It is so hard to write without giving away spoilers, but happy Seraph has his HEA.. though i almost got very stabby at some of the story arc.. but keep on reading..

★ “This isn’t just about saving the Zone…We are mates, Ophelia. It is our destiny to breed you and make pups inside you.” ★

—>>> A very creative final story to this series, chock full of drama, secrets, angst, revenge, adventure, and twists. And, of course, hot sharing, claiming, and anointing of Alphas to their little Omega. I am never disappointed with this author’s (well-written) stories - they always flow from cover to cover and are a pleasure to read!

This is my first exposure to this particular series. If you haven’t read the other books, you will be OK. The author does a great job summarizing any important past details relevant to this story.

I smiled when I read the nod to Star Wars:

“Did you feel that?” “Yes,” my teacher replies. “There has been a disturbance in the Source.”

That just made me chuckle.

I also got a chuckle from the interfacing scene:

“So let me get this straight,” Aleph says. “You’re saying we need to make her horny so you can interface with her?”

There were times, as I read this story, that I thought I was watching an episode of Animal Kingdom, the naughty version.

Overall, this reverse harem story was a lot of fun to read. I had not expected that reaction. Lizzy Bequin is an excellent story teller. You can’t go wrong with any of her stories.

I also recommend “Machine” by Lizzy Bequin. Love that story.

Oh how I love Lizzy Bequin's books! And as expected, this was fabulous. While it is Book 5 of a series and I have not read any of the previous books, it was a complete stand-alone that I enjoyed and don't believe I missed anything. I wasn't able to read it in one go as I wanted as that darn sleep thing interfered. I definitely want to read the other books in the series after reading this!

It's an Omegaverse book, so be aware if it's not your thing. I personally LOVE it. Ophelia and all her mates were unique characters. There was suspense, danger, angst, lots of HOT chemistry and though it seemed there might be some sadness near the end, the HEA was way better than expected.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys super-steamy reads, Omegaverse fans and anyone who likes a complete fast-paced page turner. Lizzy is a must-read author for me.

Get it, read it - you won't regret it.

Wow this is the final book in this series and it’s packed with nonstop action, drama, suspense, defeat, excitement, mystery, darkness, hot and sexy scenes (that have you fanning yourself ) mates, bonding, passion and above all Love. Ophelia was designed to end and to destroy the source in the zone and it works they destroy the batteries but she is saved and they tell her everything and that she was lied to and that she is an omega but she knows nothing about what it means or entails to be one. Seraph has been training the sons of Alpha’s and omega’s from the previous books to be warriors Romulus, Remus, Marr, Boreg, Aleph and when they smell an omega in heat they go to her and Seraph tells them how to treat and love there mate and that together they are the future to save them all. There is so many twists and turns in this book and surprises that I never saw coming but overall prepare to loose sleep with this fantastic book. There might be trigger moments for some so be warned. Love this book.

The conclusion between the Outsiders and the Zone Alphas. Lots of spicy steam as is typical of the series, but the plot also brings to conclusion the war and provides an ongoing source to maintain the health of the omegas and alphas. Overall, the plot was on the thin side, but enough action and continuity that it linked the books together and made them entertaining, but let's face it these books are all about the steam. Each book is a reverse harem of 3 or more alphas to each omega, this book jumps up to 6 alphas to the one omega so there is ample opportunity for steam on top of steam and sprinkled with spice all throughout. This omega seems to be in heat throughout the majority of the book so that should tell you the spice level. I was definitely entertained and will read other series from this author. Each book ends with a happily ever after for the omega/alphas matchup so if you need a happy conclusion, never fear you will find it here!

Wow what a fantastic story! I absolutely loved reading this story about the destruction of the source and the salvation of the zone. Ophelia was created in the city as a way to destroy the zone but the people in the city did not take into effect that Seraph the entity that the scientists created when they made the Zone would have seen the plans that Dr Toth had to destroy the Zone. Ophelia soon discovered what part she played in the plan and realise the evilness of the doctor. She mates with her five mates and sits out to fix what has been destroyed. The characters are fantastic and the storyline is brilliant and flowed very well without any disjointed scenes. I loved how the author left the story that the zone would always be protected. There is a happily ever after for all of these people.

There are those authors that you set alerts up to notify you when there are new books available. You join their newsletter and soak up their worlds to live in between books. You know, semi-stalking, but in a total fangirl way (does that sound as crazy out loud as it does in my head🤔). Lizzy Bequin is that author that I eagerly look forward to that next book.

Coming back to this world, the world that started it all, was like coming home to a friend. In a world full of drama and passion, you'll easily find yourself emersed in this story and these characters. It flows well and though it's been awhile since I've read a book in this series, I was easily able to understand what was going on. It's a great addition to the series.

When i finished this book my first thoughts were wow what an epic end to this series.
In this story we see the outsiders once more try and destroy the source by blowing up the batteries in hope that the people will revert to their previous state.
Romulus and Remus,Aleph, Boreg, Marr are off springs of c ouples and they are training with Seraph when the explosion happens. They find an Omega Ophelia still alive, she has a very special talant. However these six men are her mates, and what happens in this story is such that you really dont want to miss it. Your eyes will boggle and you wont want to put this book down.
Its one of the most exciting books befitting a wonderful ending and im sure you will love it.

This book is really worth five plus the stars.

I followed these series, read and reviewed each one and loved all of them. I am both sad and happy about this book: sad that this is the final book, happy because I know that they all have their hea and that they will continually live on through the next generation. I felt like I am a part of their world, watching from the sidelines.

I was ecstatic when I learned that our alphas are the children of our previous MCs. The biggest surprise though is Seraph and my mind still boggles at 6.

This is one great read, full of steam, action, heartbreak, joy, and happiness.

Lizzy Bequin is one of my go to authors for slightly bonkers, and definitely hot omega romances. I love how Bequin includes unusual characters (Seraph) in such an organic way. This is the end of the series and while it can stand alone it was fun to see the sons of characters in the first four books.

I liked the characterization of Ophelia. She is thoughtful and deals really well with learning the truth about who she is and how she has been lied to. And the story was a really good wrap-up for the series as a whole.

Ophelia accompanies an Outsiders team into the Zone on a mission to bring about the destruction of the Source, though she's now trapped underground in the Zone. Seraph has been specially training a group of warriors, Romulus, Remus, Marr, Boreg, and Aleph - the sons of the Omegas and Alphas from earlier in the series. Ophelia is unaware that she's an Omega in heat, nor does she know what an Omega is of what it entails. The warriors find her, and Seraph guides them in how to treat their Omegas she may be able to save the Zone from destruction. Ophelia, the Alphas, and Seraph will face a lot of action, adventure, and challenges as they work to save the Zone. The hot and steamy action grows throughout the book and is off the charts, screen melting hot - knots, heats, claiming, and more. This last book in the series was a fantastic finale to wrap things up, though I was nervous about Seraph for a bit. I loved the characters - the new pack and having old ones in there too. So, so good!

Ophelia was created to protect against the contamination in the Zone.
Ophelia is surrounded by soldier her power acts like a shield around them to stop the air in the Quarantine Zone turning them into Alphas, Betas and Omegas They reach the center of the zone where the Source is but when the start the timer on the bomb it is set to five seconds rather then fifty minutes. Only she and one soldier survive and the soldier has turned into a deformed and deseased Alpha who attacks her. She is saved by twin Alphas Romulas and Remus.

This romance was full of action, danger, and high stakes. As a result, I read it in one sitting. The world building is deft and vibrant, woven into the story in a natural and organic way. The heroine was super sympathetic and the sizzling scenes were HOT. This was a great conclusion to this series. It wrapped up all the dangling overarching series plot threads in a satisfying way. The plot in this novel was tight and coherent throughout, and I enjoyed the political machinations. The Happy Ever After ending was deeply satisfying. I highly recommend this novel.

The characters that have been developed are wonderful and exciting.
The omega-verse world is my go to read.

The scent of an omega in heat is the best thing that an Alpha smells and when it is their omega it is all the better.

Ophelia - a created weapon to destroy an area outside her city hive. Only the destruction plans go wrong. Her team are killed but she survives - with the help of five alphas and an AI.
In Lizzy Bequin's omegaverse there is always a lot of adventure, much more heat, and a guaranteed darn good story line. Adventure, emotion, heaps of hot, hot lovin', amazing characters and story-line plots that pick us up and take us along for the ride. Each of her books is high adventure on steroids and leave us panting for more.
Highly recommended reading

Wow

An absolutely cracking read - lots of action, lots of steam and plenty of back story for interest. I loved the characters and really enjoyed the rollercoaster ride of this story. Book 5 and I hadn't read the previous instalments - worked as standalone too.

The final Quarantine Omega story features the sons of the previous four omega, an animated AI and a woman created in a lab to be the destruction of the Zone. This one is twice as long, with twice the incredible story, and twice the mates! I loved the ups-and-downs of Ophelia’s story, she has to go through so much to find her happiness, but she finds such strength along the journey (along with six diverse and protective mates). Such an epic conclusion to a steamy and primal series.

As always, I’m in awe how she can weave such an intricate and compelling story. Was not expecting some of the twists and turns that the story took, but that just made it that much more enjoyable. The characters were not only complex and well thought out, in addition to the almost non stop adventure added to the steamy erotic romance that made this such and awesome read! Couldn’t put it down!.

Gripping to the point you can’t put it down, Lizzy Bequin has outdone herself with this latest edition to her series. I was wondering how this series was going to develop. This plot was clever and inventive…it’s going to blow you away! I loved the complex character of Seraph. You really get to “see” his development intimately and I enjoyed that the most. Excellent!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️⭐️.

Love, Love, Love the ending to this series!!!! Seraph was a surprise. I love the growliness of the Alphas and the protective, compassionate souls that goes along with them. Lizzy Bequin writes characters that you just connect with and are so personable that you hang on every word. I couldn't put it down!!
