Amelia Serrano and Mackenzie Kaufman are about to become Mrs. and Mrs. Serrano-Kaufman. But what does a wedding look like when it's being thrown for two people with completely opposite tastes? Follow the next step in their journey to find out.
Erica Lee finished writing her first book, Dear Santa: I’m Gay, in December 2016. Erica currently lives in Pennsylvania with her wife, dog, chinchilla, and bunny. She spends her days working as an optometrist and her nights snuggled up on the couch with her furry family, binging on netflix or youtube.

I was sorta hoping for something to go wrong in this friend group and this seemed like the moment. Needless to say, it didn’t happen and it actually was a lovely this is how we continue to live with the most opposite of characters ever. You could say this is the follow up of Opposite Tracks (Amelia and Mack)
For some weird reason I was expecting something to blow up in this book. I was kinda anxious while reading it and it was all in my mind, I guess I’m used to suffering with many other books, LOL! This novelette is really sweet.
As I’ve said before for other novelettes in this series, for you to actually enjoy and understand this one, you must read Opposite Tracks This is a great story. I thought their relationship (Amelia and Mackenzie) was gonna be more complicated but I guess that when you actually love your person you start to love what they love and not only how they are but who they are, for me that’s the big lesson here.
What I loved? Kiera and Ryann’s hints, I hope I’m not wrong and I can’t wait.
MacKenzie Kaufman, the mechanic and race care driver finally marries Amelia Serrano. The beginning of their romance is the third book Opposite Tracks. The friends are there for dress fittings, bridal parties, photos and finally getting to say the vows. This book lovingly moves everyones stories along. I hate being caught up and having to wait for the next serial release. (3.5 stars)
Opposites attract in a love story where home isnt a house but a person.
MacKenzie and Emelia are so different. Their story started with an unexpected carnival trip and a race car driver who is so much more. This is a delicious book of such a sweet, hot connection that is the beginning of a great life together. Their family meeting each other and the extravagant wedding make for a page turner. This #7 book did not disappoint. I look forward to the next in the series.
Perfect book to kick off July with. No spoilers but the end of the book already has me looking forward to book 8!! Hope my logic is on the right path. Amazing series, wish I could say this was my favorite!!! BUT THEY ALL ARE! Great writing Erica Lee! Only complaint is August can’t come fast enough.
We met both Amelia and Mackenzie in an earlier book. Now their families are meeting and planning their wedding full of perfect compromises for all. It's a lovely story filled with all the friends from the Six Pack and full of love, heart and home! I love it!
This was the most romantic book to date in the series. Erica Lee has just the sass to make Amelia and Macks story come to life. A happily ever after we all can enjoy. Another great job!
Amelia and Mackenzie are nearing the big day and the Six Pack are all back together. As they have their parties and brunches and fun, they all are in a whirlwind of happiness. Great series on love and friendship.
Just like prior installments, this was super-funny and sweet and I love the characters! Especially Kiera! Maybe shortly Ryann too? Did I say that out loud? It is kind of my secret hope for book 8.
Anyway, the story starts off with a bang (use #7 of a new refrigerator), the banter is great (“Balance.”), they’re cute talk about talking in front of the kids… and then suddenly they’re talking about how they’re all where they’re meant to be and I’m tearing up just a little. Then we’re back to the tailor, who makes what must be the world’s biggest faux pas with “Everything will be great, just so long as…” Well I don’t want to spoil it for you. Anyway, adventures in texting, introducing the Upper East Siders to the dirt track and associated customs, and the MACK is back! (The shirts, anyway.)
And then… and then VEGAS?
All right, well, enough with the play by play I guess. Amelia and Mackenzie continue to be an amazing opposites-attract kind of couple, and believe you me, the attraction is still there! But the friends make it twice as fun. (Sarah and the covers!) There are great one-liners, there are hilarious situations, and then there’s an actual wedding, with, I mean, I’m probably coming dangerously close to saying too much, but some freaked-out participants, some mind-blowing vows, and one hell of a barn party! And there’s more, but I’ll try again to stop, lol.
The one thing there’s not a lot of is angst. So long as you’re fine with super-funny and sweet and moving and not too angsty… it seems like this series has it all.
I love this short story series by Erica! They’re such fun and short reads and I love getting to follow this group of friends on their journeys to find love! But also, like this one, getting to see more from an established couple and seeing where they’re at in the next stages of their lives together! Highly recommend.
Written in Third person with 2x POV’s. Book 7 in The Six Pack series. Established couple. 3x Spicy Scenes.
The Finish Line is Book 7 in The Six Pack Series by Erica Lee. This story focuses on the planning and wedding of Amelia Serrano and Mackenzie Kaufman. This was a well thought out novella with wedding day details that combined the tastes of both women and their families. I especially enjoyed the words that Amelia and Mackenzie spoke to one another before they said their vows.
Just really like Erica's writing, this is a series of novellas really, last is due out August 1st, will read that too. Enjoyed them all. Going to find her first book next as I love her style.
Another great novella in this series. This one was very simple, straightforward, and a lot of fun. It was cute and fluffy and there was zero conflict of any kind. I suppose there wasn’t much plot to speak of, but it perfectly satisfied the craving for a fun and easy read. Like a hallmark movie but with even less conflict somehow!
There were so many terrible sex-and-car puns, and it was AWESOME
