Now, just hang on a moment. I’m trying to process.
HOW?!
How does this story exist?
How did I YET AGAIN lose myself in the pages.
How is the next book not out yet?!
Okay. Ok. Right, need a review.
Let’s see…
Jura is living with bird people, asking the questions we as readers need to know and are slowly figuring out.
Tylak is an idiot in love and loyal to no end.
Beshar has been stripped of everything that made him…well him.
Kay is finally free, but freedom isn’t easy and leaves her on edge.
Coral, Amira, and Kale are the best freaking trio ever. Is it horrible I’m gunning for them to a thruple? I mean, Coral gets to see how her bursts of anger can affect people via Amira’s ptsd. Amira latches onto Coral for a lifeline while using Kale’s humor to reset her mind. Kale is also a lovesick fool, that loves wandering around without a shirt on.
Okay, we clearly see who I liked best in Windswept.
I’m still trying to wrap my head around that ending. Not that it’s a stretch, especially once explained, makes total sense, just the image of Jura, and everything that happened, and her last words. Ugh! I don’t want to spoil anything but if I were an artist I’d paint the heck out of what my brain conjured up.
I stand firm this needs to be a movie, or mini-series. Something. It’s freaking beautiful and fast-moving with enough going on to never lose interest. FFS, it’s practically already laid out for a script writer. Each chapter break is a commercial break, and laid out in perfect chunks. Shoot, ILL WRITE THE SCRIPT to prove how great it would be! I don’t know how to shop it around though. Not the point. I’m rambling.
And I want book four.

Colorful, creative story art that leaves one thirsty for more.
Dude, the cliffhangers….stop! Kidding. I waited to read 2nd book ‘til 3rd was complete as I couldn’t stand to wait for the story to unravel. Plz hurry with book 4. Also laughing at your dad in cosplay as Ash😂
I love this series and the author! It’s a fresh story that captures a reader—enabling one to become each of the characters in a wilderness of adventure.

Windswept, book 3, is quite a recent release, it looks like. It left me with one big question: is there going to be a book four? Because the ending didn't feel conclusive to me, but it's listed as 3/3 on Amazon. I truly hope there will be more of this series. The writing is so beautiful: it's intense, with lots of very clear imagery and big emotional moments that pay off perfectly. The characters are unforgettalbe. And this is one of my favorite fantasy worlds I've explored so far this year!
