Beta read.

Kaylene Winter's fictional Seattle band, Less Than Zero, has taken lovers of rockstar romance to the next level with her descriptive writing style and knowledge of the music world in which she writes. Her characters are flawed, sometimes broken but always charismatic, hard to resist and sexy as hell. Every time I read one of their stories, I wish they were real so I could see them in concert and scream at the top of my lungs as they sang and played just for me. One can dream, can't they?

In this continuation of Jace and Alex's story,I after finally coming together in LTZ book 2, Limitless, Kaylene Winter now brings us the next chapter of their lives together in Limitless Encore. LTZ's hard working and multi talented drummer extraordinare been one of my personal favorites since day one. He keeps the beat of the band rocking while hightlighting their successes on every social media platform out there. He truly is the heart and soul of the band. I just love this sexy man!

Sweet, bubbly, effervescent and witty-  Alex has got it all. It's easy to see how she captured Jace's attention and heart from the very first time he saw her. She's  kind, loving and has a smile for everyone, with an ethereal beauty and a badass free spirt that can rescue animals like a boss babe without missing a beat. Jace still can't get enough of his gorgeous Poppy, even 10 years later.

Life has changed and evolved for Alex and Jace over the years. They've settled into their role as parents to their adopted daughter, Lena and now that Jace's band is on an extended break, life had been very good to them-  love, peace and happiness?  What more could they ask for. Their ranch, a beautiful family, a rag tag menagerie of horses and other rescued animals, brings joy and purpose into their idylic lives.

You can tell how strong a relationship really is when life throws unexpected curve balls in your direction you have to trust in one another to help you jump out of their way. Seeing the struggles, ups and downs and turmoil that Jace and Alex had to face in life's journey, had me reaching for the tissues for a good, cathartic cry in a few places while reading this book. Kaylene handles sensitive situations so well that readers might find themselves wondering- how would they feel in a similar situation?

Limitless Encore was a one sitting read for me. I loved the touching way this emotionally charged story addressed the feelings Jace and Alex faced at any given moment, even when hope seemed lost. I wasn't totally sure how their story was going to end- were Alex and Jace going to be given some version of a happy ending or would it end with me as a broken hearted reader with tissues stuffed up my nose. What was the resolution for this?

I won't spoil Alex and Jace's story for you, but hold onto your hats because Limitless Encore might blow you away with its intensity. As with the other books in the LTZ world, each one builds and connects with the others, storylines overlap, so in my opinion, the most satisfaction can be found be reading all of these wonderful stories in the order they were written. Ready for a nice long binge? Start with Endless and end up here- for now, that is. There's more to come.

I was given an early copy of this book to read and review.

“The woman’s been in my bloodstream for over a decade. Just like I’ve been in hers.”

Alex and Jace were my first and favorite couple from LTZ and I could not wait to get my hands on Limitless: Encore. After Endless: Encore I knew that they were going through something that was going to rip my heart out and I was not wrong. The story that followed was a beautifully emotional and powerfully captivating story of love, trust and healing.

“What Alex and I have transcends love. We are two souls who have found peace in our togetherness.”

The issue that Alex and Jace were facing is heartbreaking and emotionally devastating, but one that many couples struggle with so it was refreshing to see it addressed. I loved how it challenged their connection, but it never lessened it. In fact, it strengthen them as a couple and deepened their trust in their love. They fought everything together and came out stronger in the end.

Alexander Cendese and CJ Bloom narrated the audio and they were fantastic. They were able to bring every emotion that the characters feel to life and allowed me to get lost, once more, in this addictive story.

Jace and Alex still have my heart and I loved watching more of their story unfold. I’m loving this series of a more in-depth looks into the LTZ couples after their initial happily ever afters. I’m excited to see what’s next for Connor and Ronni.

I was so excited to receive an ARC for this book! I had so many questions about Jace and Alex and what they were going through while reading Endless-Encore that I dove in almost as soon as the ARC landed on my kindle. It was such a powerful and emotional story, that gave me all the feels. I was hooked right from the Prologue and could not put the book down until I finished it. The issues Kaylene writes about are real world problems that so many could relate to, it just makes me love her world and characters even more. It was great to catch up with the rest of the band, and see some of the events from Endless - Encore from another perspective. Can't wait for the next book in the series :)

Wow - as a reader there is nothing better than continuing to read about a favorite character and Kaylene Winter knocked it out of the park with the continuation of Jace and Alex's story. Things are changing and priorities are shifting - can the band survive the growing pains? Once you start this book you will not be able to put it down. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, but in the end it will only prove once again that these character are one we will soon not forget and that LTZ will always be a favorite.

5 Stars for the horse whisperer and her rockstar!

This series just keeps getting better and better. I love how the author is going back to each couple and letting you know how they are doing after their supposed "happily-ever-after" in their first book. Everyone knows that happily-ever-after can change at any point in a relationship ... people change and circumstances change. I also love how the books are written simultaneously ... it's a really different approach.

This book follows Jace and Alex and they are my favorite couple in the series. Don't get me wrong I really liked all the other couples ... I just LOVED Jace and Alex. I love how Alex didn't just follow Jace and fit into his life. She had dreams of her own and didn't give up on them. And Jace didn't give up on Alex ... he knew what he wanted and was willing to wait for the woman he loved. Then there's Lena .... I love it when there are kids in a book and she is just a little sweetheart! I don't want to say too much and wreck the story for others, but I highly recommend this series - especially is you like rockstars.

I received an early copy courtesy of Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

I have recently found Kaylene Winter through her audiobooks. She is an amazing storyteller. I enjoyed listening to the first three books so much that I jumped at the chance to read this book when I saw it offered. I was so invested and wanted more of Jace and Alex after the audiobook. KW delivered an incredible encore!!!

This book was heartbreaking. I cried. I was frustrated and angry. I was devastated. Not only for Jace and Alex, but all of LTZ band. This was an incredibly emotional read. At times, my frustration towards Jace was overwhelming. I didn't like him even though I loved him. He is such a guy. And that was something that jumped at me in this book. How real the actions of the characters were. I wasn't suspending belief.

By the end, I was smiling and satisfied. Except the ending! Gah. I STILL WANT MORE. It deserves more than five stars. I'm still invested. I don't want to say bye to these characters. I know there is more to come, thank goodness.

Since I read this out of order there are couple spoilers for me. But I'd have know who Conner and Zane ended up with if I'd read the descriptions. I wonder what I might have missed by not reading Ty and Zoey's Encore first. Would some things be better understood, etc. I will most definitely back track though. This is shaping up to be a favorite series of mine.

I have now listened to the audiobook and it was so good! Alexander Cendese and CJ Bloom are excellent narrators. They brought this audiobook to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. Perfection!! This is a must listen to series!

Rock Romance At Its Finest

From the beginning I fell in love with the guys from LTZ and I couldn’t have been more excited to know that there are encore books to this amazing series. I had loved Jace and Alex the first time around so this book just made me fall harder for the couple.

Jace is still the hot, loveable rocker who never gave up on the love of his life and Alex is a strong amazing woman and now mother to little Lena. Jace and Lena had some amazing father/daughter times that made my heart melt.

As for the band, which has been on a break, had come close to finally getting back out there until something happened that tore the band apart. Now will there be a return of LTZ? I can’t wait to find out because all of these guys are true rock stars.

I loved how this author wasn’t afraid to tackle a very real and devastating topic and it was done with heart. The trials that Jace and Alex had to endure was heartbreaking but I loved how they leaned on each other to make it through.

I highly recommend this series and I cannot wait for the next encore!!

I knew before I started this book that it was going to love it and as expected It did not disappoint.

I wanted to slow down and savor the story but I could not put it down. This book is straight up addicting and I loved every second. I love the chemistry between Jace and Alex and I was very happy to get to read the follow-up to their HEA.

limitless: Encore is a Rockstar Romance and is book 6 in theLess Than Zero series. It can be read as a stand alone, however there is crossover into the previous books in this series which I have not read yet, but I did not feel like I was lost while reading.

This story had everything I look for in a book, romance and super hot loving. It also deals with womens reproductive health issues. You also get to catch up with the characters from the previous books in the series. I will for sure be reading the other books and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

It’s the first book I read by Kaylene and I’m very impressed with the storyline. From the very first chapter ‘Prologue’ I was hooked on the story. It’s such a smooth story with bums of all the real-life situations, you may say it’s a fictional novel but anybody can relate to the situations. I admire the way the story connected with my mind and heart, it felt all so real and my heart goes for Alex. Knowing a story from both the MC pov is a blessing and leaves very little to the imagination.

This book is the extension of the previous book in the series about Jace & Alex but I didn’t feel any need to read that one first. Although if you can read that book first you’ll be able to connect even in more depth. The story is well explained and the love & compassion shared is to die for. I enjoyed reading the book and felt very sad at many points when the story goes down but the last para of the epilogue just healed everything for me. You can rarely get the love you dreamed of, so don’t take anything for granted. You never know what happens when.

wow

Wow, just wow! To say the very least Alex and Jace’s story is truly Limitless. We’ve now learned so much about the truly private couple and how their minds work. It was amazing the talk Alex had with her father to let him know her feelings, I cried. It wasn’t the only time I cried, as an OB nurse I have seen the things first hand that were talked about in this book And have held families through their trauma. Kaylene could not have written these events any more real. I so admire the strength and commitment shown in this story. I can’t wait for the next two encore presentations. Please hurry… We need them.

I've read and enjoyed every single one of the Less Than Zero series. What sets this particular set of books apart from other similar romances, is that it doesn't end with that first initial love story. The first four books dealt with the beginnings of the romances that each member of the Less than Zero band has. We then have their encores, the story of what comes after that initial flush of love. A chance to really test the couples and to find out how strong their relationships really are. An opportunity to see that they really will have a happily ever after and not buckle when faced with a bit of difficulty.
For Jace and Alex, they find themselves dealing with fertility issues, endometriosis and miscarriage. These are heavy topics, but ones that are dealt with in a compassionate way in this story. Jace and Alex are a great couple, they were the ones that I first met, coming to this series originally at book two, their relationship has been one of my favourites and that wasn't diminished when I read what they faced.
This was another great instalment in this series and I'm looking forward to reading what's in store for the other couples.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own and given voluntarily.

WOW just WOW😎😍

This story was OFF The CHARTS Fantastic!!!. I COMPLETELY understand and feel the pain!!. I also suffered with this horrible disease for years!!. Fortunately for me I was able to conceive my only child, and then had to have a complete hysterectomy, ovaries, uterus, everything gone, no more babies for me. And I was also young like Alex😥😪. I was so excited that the dr had the insight to save her eggs🤗. In reading this series Ty & Z, have always been The it couple, but the others are just as important and loved. Thank You🙏 Kaylene for another Awesome, PHENOMENAL story!!. You Rock!!.

I found Alex and Jace's story in Limitless to be intriguing so I was very happy to get the chance to read their encore. What a story this was, it had me in tears more than once. It is true to say that the boy has become a man as now Jace has given up his rockstar ways and is ready to take on whatever comes their way in his new life with Alex and their adopted daughter Lena.

Alex's journey through this book is absolutely heartbreaking because of her health problems but it is also so touching in that she always has Jace by her side. He will put her first no matter what, even willing to leave LTZ if it makes her happy. We also find out in this story that Alex is not always the confident outgoing girl that she shows on the outside, inside she doubts herself due to her health issues that have left her wondering if she is good enough to be Jace's partner.

LTZ are on an extended hiatus and all the guys are wondering if they will ever get back together again. The relationship between Ty and the rest of the band is tested when he learns something that he was not expecting causing him to go off the deep end and into counselling. I was so happy that Kaylene brought the boys back together and strengthened their commitment to each other allowing them to go forward.

Wow this was a really intense and realistic story from the amazingly talented Ms Winter. I have loved this series all the way through and I have to say that Limitless Encore had me riveted right from the beginning. Thank you Kaylene for the chance to be an early reader of this book.

Limitless Encore takes readers on the continued journey of LTZ's Jace and Alex with no shortage of tears, laughter and drama.

The relationship of Jace and Alex had more than it's fair share of ups and downs, some out of their control and many pure stubbornness and lack of communication, yet the one thing that was definitive was their being meant to be together. This pair fit in a way that many could only dream of and their imperfections just highlighted their suitability as a couple. Struggles and realizations that what you think you want may in fact not be what you want or possible as well this couples ability to turn tragedy into possibility, was touching and absolutely Jace and Alex who both always took life by the horns.

As with the previous Encore in this series Ms. Winter dug deeper into the lives of her characters and shed light on some very real and poignant subjects that had been implied but not developed in earlier works in this series. The dynamics of all the band members and their significant others played an important part in this book but really it was Jace and Alex's unconditional love for each other that was the glue of this story and made for a touching story. Kaylene Winter's passion for the stories she creates shines through in Limitless Encore showing that her love of writing translates beautifully as it manifests once again in a memorable story.

I am really enjoying these encore visits to each of the couples of LTZ and all have been a wonderful addition to the story, but the Limitless Encore fell below my expectations. It had a negative vibe all throughout and some highly triggering issues that were present from the beginning to the end. This is the continuation of Jace and Alex's love story and it's quite different in that they keep their relationship a secret from the public and the band for years. When they fell in love, Alex's sad backstory precluded her from being able to trust in the fidelity and love of a man because her father was morally gray. Jace and Alex are the parents, although not biological, of a sweet little girl who a former fling told Jace that she was his baby. It turns out she was lying, but Jace and Alex had already fallen in love with her and now Lena was theirs. Alex realizes her unwillingness to have children came from her insecurities, so she lets Jace know that she'd like to have their own. This is where the conflict, heartbreak and difficulty comes in and it was almost too much for me to continue.

Alex not only has trouble getting pregnant, she has fertility issues, endometriosis and miscarriage. What they both go through is traumatic and it affected me deeply. A deep depression, life saving surgery and an intense feeling of failure were just a few of the debilitating experiences that Alex and Jace suffered. When it's not certain that Alex is going to make it through the surgery my heart was in my throat. There is fallout from Ty's mother's death and his mental health diagnosis. He did things that his bandmates couldn't understand, but the reader has full knowledge from his own book. I was really disappointed in the way that Jace handled Ty's outbursts, fighting Carter and general overwhelming depression. Jace was angry, almost hostile toward Zoey and Ty that I thought was a little overblown and I started to dislike him. Fortunately, Alex never gave up on her friendship nor her loyalties to Zoey. Once Ty comes clean to his friends, the rift begins to heal. The ending was sweet and it left the door wide open for the next couple's encore. The narration was brilliantly done by Alexander Cendese and C J Bloom. Their dynamic voices, the pace at which they read, and the emotions they bring to each character make this story come to life.

Limitless: Encore is the sixth book in the Less than Zero series by Kaylene Winters. This book is the continuing story of Jase and Alex and, just like in the original books, it runs concurrently to the Endless: Encore that I reviewed on February 2 of this year. There are a number of events into which the reader has insight, having now experienced it from both perspectives. I am finding that the Encore books humanize these rock gods and the women that love them so much more than the original books. There has been no touring or concerts, just the characters that I had grown so fond of over the span of four (now 6) books. This book touches on issues of infertility and loss as well as endometriosis, a condition with which I suffered from the age of seventeen. I was able to empathize with Alex’s experience even though our personal journeys were very different. I loved that the author chose to bring awareness of this disease as it is one that many have no knowledge of, but lots of women experience as the leading cause of infertility. I found this audiobook to be highly enjoyable and relatable and the narrators were still perfect in handling the dual POVs. If you love contemporary rockstar romance and are a Less than Zero fan, you will enjoy this too. If you have not read or listened to the original books in the series, I would not recommend this audiobook until you have. This is a series that needs to be read in order and the Encore books continue the story rather than standing alone. I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after listening to an advanced complementary copy of this audiobook thanks to Wildfire Marketing Solutions and One Night Stand Studios.

Limitless Encore by Kaylene Winter is a five-star audiobook that I highly recommend. This continuation of the Less Than Zero Rockstar Romance Series explores the deep-rooted commitment issues faced by the most secretive couple of LTZ. Kaylene Winter's knowledge of the music world shines through as she creates an impressive world of a band of brothers and leading ladies.

The performances by CJ Bloom and Alexander Cendese as the narrators are absolutely beautiful. They bring the touching storyline to life in such a way that it brought tears to my eyes on multiple occasions. The strength of the relationship between Jace and Alex is evident as they face unexpected challenges together. Trusting one another to navigate life's curveballs is a central theme throughout the story.

The struggles, ups and downs, and turmoil that Jace and Alex endure on their journey are heart-wrenching. Kaylene Winter handles touchy situations with grace and sensitivity, leaving readers contemplating their emotions in similar circumstances.

Limitless Encore is a powerful and emotional audiobook that will keep you hooked from start to finish. It delves into the complexities of love, loss, and the resilience of the human spirit. If you're a fan of rockstar romance with depth and substance, this book is a must-read. Get ready to be captivated by the world of Jace, Alex, and the unforgettable characters of the Less Than Zero series.

Limitless Encore
Less Than Zero, Book 6
By: Kaylene Winter
Narrated by: Alexander Cendese, CJ Bloom

There is nothing better than being able to revisit characters I love. Kaylene Winter gave me the chance to hear about Jace and Alex after we fell in love with them in Limitless. This one is packed with so many emotions, and I who never cries, had tears going down my face. These two faced the odds, and through thick and thin were each other's soulmates. With Lina, they are the perfect parents, but Alex still won't give in to the idea of marriage. Until she does! Finally these two are engaged, but setting a date still is off in the distance. Alex is having some health issues, and once the diagnosis is received, life changes. And this couple deals with devastating news. Will it be the end? I loved this story, as it hits close to home. It's raw and gritty, but the love still is there pulling these two through the thick of it. It's an amazing look at their life and future. Loved every minute!

And bringing back Alexander Cendese and CJ Bloom is just a treat. These two pick up right where they left off. Cendese is fantastic. His emotional range is so great, and he pours out the feelings in his performance. Bloom is such a talent, and she digs in deep, pulling out all the emotions as Alex. This was an amazing listen and if you love Less Than Zero, grab it!

Jace and Alex - beautiful couple with lots of history

Wow, what an introduction to Kaylene Winter's writing for me! Now I need to go and read the other stories about the members of the rock band LTZ!

This story is about Jace and Alex's love journey. Together they go through so much in this story, and they deserve the happily ever after they receive. Limitless Encore will keep you turning the pages until you reach the end.

Jace is a drummer and social media manager of LTZ who is in love with Alex. Alex is a younger woman who falls for him, but it has taken her some time to come to terms with their relationship. Along the way, she experiences some reproductive health issues, and Jace is her constant pillar of support. Together what this couple goes through touches all the emotions. I love how the author wrote this story and gave such insight into reproductive issues that many people keep silent.

The mentions of the other members and little snip of what they are dealing with also keep the story very entertaining. So now to read all the other stories about the LTZ members!

Reasons I enjoyed this book:

Action-packed, Happily Ever After, Informative, Page-turner, Romantic, Realistic, Steamy, Tear-jerker, Tragic, Wonderful characters

Such a pleasure to return to the world of the Less than Zero band, drummer Jace and his lady love Alex, with this audiobook narrated by Alexander Cendese and CJ Bloom. Jace and Alex have been through the wringer and through everything it has only strengthened their bond. Their chemistry is off the charts and demonstrates the power of love to help deal with life’s ups and downs. The author is commended for her shining a light on a challenging health condition that Alex is dealing with. This storyline will have you feeling a ton of emotions and I might even suggest having tissues handy just in case. CJ Bloom is one of my go to narrators and once again she has done a stellar job brining Alex to life and the depth of Alexander Cendese’s vocal tonality is like a smooth bourbon sliding down one’s throat that you could listen to continuously. If you have not met the members of this band and the other characters, I suggest adding this series to your shelf immediately. They need to be listened to in order. I cannot wait for more!

‘Limitless: Encore’, we travel back into the ‘Less than Zero' world - a band we come to know intimately in this series. Jace, the drummer of the band, is trying to balance family life and figure out how the band will fit into his evolving home life.

Jace and Alex are epic together. They have traversed so many obstacles to get where they are and that has made them such a strong couple... So much is going right, but there are definite difficulties for the couple. I love their chemistry and oh my dog, is it 🔥 🔥 🔥!!! This book is *amazing* on audio. The narrators, Alexander Cendese and CJ Bloom, do an incredible job. They made the hot scenes hotter and the emotional scenes more emotional. They were exactly the voices I had for Alex and Jace in my head!!

This is book 6 of the ‘Less than Zero' series and it does need to be read in order to fully enjoy it. This is an amazing series for those who enjoy rockstar romances. ❤️

I'm beyond happy this series has moved beyond other people drama and third act breakups. These encores are so dang wonderful. Please know that Jace and Alex deal with a lot of pregnancy related triggers, so if these topics are hard for you, you may want to skip this one. While this journey was extremely difficult, it was also beautiful and healing for their little family.

My heart was hurting so badly after Alex was dealt hit after hit when it came to having a baby. It seemed like every time they got good news, their bad news knocked them off their feet... I was so happy with how this story ended though. I can't wait to hear more about it in the finale two encores.

The audio was great. I'm not sure if I just got used to Alexander Cendese's female voice or of it was less squeaky this audiobook, but I had a much easier time listening to him this time. CJ Bloom was wonderful as always and the combo led to a wonderful earful.

I didn't think these books could get more emotional, I was wrong. This story had me clutching the tissues. I love the way that Jace shows up for Alex is lifegoals! I am really loving how this series is being continued through these encore books and being able to see their next stages of relationships and life is so unique and amazing. I fell in love with these characters in the original story and now feel like they will live with me forever.
I listened to this through audio and what an amazing job by the narrators Alexander Cendese & CJ Bloom bring these characters to life and I loved getting to know the characters more through their voices and the emotional ties they brought to my ears.

Huge smile and happy tears

What an emotional journey! Jase and Alex story will tear you apart have you screaming at the author to "fix it" sobbing ugly tears wanting to book a flight to go take care of Jase and Alex because obviously no one else is doing it right. To finally finishing the journey and realizing their journey was just what I needed. Heart felt story beautifully written. A must read book and series. You have to start at book 1 to get to this point. Happy hearts.

This story is so beautifully written. Kaylene tackles some serious women's health issues. Having gone through the same pain Alex goes through, I can tell you that it is written perfectly.
Jace and Alex have a love so limitless it gets them through this terrible disease together and helps them navigate all of the obstacles put in their path. We get to revisit all of their LTZ family throughout the story, and it is epic!
I highly recommend you listen to the audiobook which is narrated by C J Bloom and Alexander Cendese.

SO DEVASTATING.

I feel like this is my story except I had an ectopic pregnancy and was never able to get pregnant again. Understanding the devastation makes my empathy for these characters real even though they aren’t real. The author has given us a rockstar of a story!

Fantastic book following on from Jase and Alex, loved it from the beginning.

Edited to add that I have also listened to this through Spotify and I thoroughly enjoyed the narrators bringing this to life.

Kaylene is really trying to kill us with the Encores. This book was just as painfully beautiful as Ty and Zoey’s story. ❤️❤️❤️
