Wade is a new police officer in town. He hates parties and is annoyed when his friend arranges a birthday party for him. Wade was hating every second until he spotted Eddie, a small and shy woman. He is very drawn to her and follows her outside when she escapes the crowd. The two share a passionate kiss but are interrupted by Wade's friend. Wade wants to continue after the party but Eddie disappears. A few days later, a call from Eddie about trespassers to 911 has Wade and Eddie meeting again. He learns a lot more about Eddie and begins to learn new things about himself.
Eddie is fairly new in town and is a music teacher. She is struggling to be accepted by the people of the town. Due to a tragedy in her past, she is very uncomfortable in social situations so attending Wade's party was rough on her. She was so attracted to Wade that she has a hard time even talking to him. She really enjoys the kiss but is later happy to be interrupted. She doesn't want to labeled as easy in the town. When she is terrified by the intruders near her home, Wade helps her with her panic attack. When Wade discovers that she is a Little, she is surprised how supportive he is.

Eddie is a shy music teacher. Her friend talks her into helping with a birthday party for a deputy. Wade doesn't like being the focus of attention and his birthday party is just that. However, its during the party that he meets Eddie and is drawn to her. When Eddie is in trouble and calls 911 its Wade that shows up. Is this a chance for them both to get their happy ending?
This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. This is a book any book lover would enjoy.

Spending time together helps both of them live a fulfilling life, as they find their forever happiness. This was a beautifully written page turner, filled with a lot of emotional moments and a heartfelt storyline.

Very touching
I loved the book. It was very tender and sweet. She is so insecure and scared and he is a very strong sheriff. She needs someone to take care of her and he is just the man for the job. Very sweet book with characters that will touch your heart.

Extremely quick read, unsure how I feel about this one. It doesn't really feel like a full story. But for the genre it's pretty good.
