Winter Falls is one of those quirky towns where you want to be a fly on the wall because what happens in this town is unbelievable. I love the citizens of this town; they make me laugh every time. Although, I don't think I would want to live here, at least not as a single person, because they are definitely in your business and want to fix you up if you are single.
This book focuses on Juniper and Maverick. Their relationship is all over the place, and there are a lot of communication issues between these two. It takes a lot of discussions and building trust for them to move forward in their relationship. Maverick is all in, but Juniper is hesitant since he is a famous actor, and being in the public eye can cause problems. With the help of the townspeople and Juniper's family, there is no doubt that it will be worked out before too long.
There is the mystery of some stolen cash from 60+ years ago that continues in this book. I have enjoyed this aspect of the storyline, and I wondered how it would all turn out. You will find out in this book, so read it since I'm not going to tell you!
This series has been a lot of fun to read, much like all of this author's books. I always get a good chuckle from the various situations the characters find themselves.

This book is the fourth book in D E Haggaty's "Winter Falls" series and although it is a standalone I would urge reading the series in sequence to gain the most enjoyment and meet all the wonderful people in this zany town..
He is not going to do this to me again, Mr gorgeous big Hollywood movie star with the pantie melting smile can't just drop into my life on a whim and drop back out again, Juniper was furious when she woke up in an empty bed, she would become impervious to his charm, she didn't need a man she had her beloved dogs Indiana Bones and Bark Twain and her cat Meowise and her beloved wildlife sanctuary, a sanctuary that was unfortunately owned by the same gorgeous movie star that she was banning from her life.
This story follows the hilarious antics as Mav tries to prove to Juniper that she is the only woman for him, ably helped by her four interfering sisters and the nosy but well meaning "gossip girls"in their trademark pink sweaters.
Who wouldn't want to live in Winter Falls, the eco friendly town that was founded by hippies many years ago, no cars allowed and only organic food eaten and the most brilliant set of residents with names like Petal, Feather,Sage, Cayenne and Clove and of course the wonderful West girls of whom all but two are loved up, Ellery Promise with Cole, Ashlyn Dream with Rowan, Aspen Cloud with Chief of Police Lyric leaving just Juniper Berry and Lilac Bean.
I have really loved this laugh out loud series and Juniper's story is no exception, I now can't wait to read Lilac's story.

I love being able to revisit Winter Falls. The unique town filled with gossip and adventure. Each book allowing us to get a glimpse of the popular businesses in that area. In this book, we get a look into the Wildlife Refuge.
This has got to be my favorite from the Winter Fall series. Since Juniper was first introduced in book one I was already intrigued with her because of her love for animals. When Ashlyn’s story came about, we had even a better glimpsed since they were roommates. So, I was excited when Juniper’s story came out because I knew there wouldn’t be short of animals.
Like Juniper, I too rather hang with the animals than humans. I grew up with rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, you name it. Whatever that was legal I owned it lol. So it was nice reading about someone who was able to take her love of animals and do something about it.
Then there is Maverick… swoon. Who can’t be in love with this guy? Doing whatever he can to win Juniper’s heart and earn back her trust.
While Juniper is trying to forget the way Maverick makes her feel, the West sisters uncover another piece to the Mystery of the Black Hat Bandit’s Missing Loot.

I read a lot of free advance review books and many times you get what you pay for. BUT you do occasionally find wonderful writers and D. E. Haggerty is one of them. As soon as her books come up, I can’t wait to immediately read them! I’m usually not a rom-com reader but her characters are full of life and funny and loyal and irritating and annoying and loving. Winter Falls is a hilarious place, quirks galore, but lots of support and abounding shenanigans. Juniper enjoys the love of her animals but is very insecure about Maverick’s feelings for her. Maverick makes a big mistake, doesn’t protect her feelings and learns the hard way that broken trust is extremely difficult to regain. The West sisters are crazy but united in standing up for each other - whether their help is wanted or not! Can’t wait for Lilac’s story.

Once again I have to say just how much I love this series!! The characters, the setting, the back story…they are all amazing!! Stay For Forever was the fourth book in Dena’s Winter Falls series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but you need all of the sisters in your life!! It was sweet, sexy, and oh so funny!!
Juniper had given Maverick a chance and he blew it. She knew she shouldn’t give him another one especially since he was just going to leave. He was an out-of-towner and they never stuck around. But when Maverick continues to show up, would she be able to continue to turn him down or would she eventually give in?
Oh my goodness!! These two…swoon! The connection between them was perfect. I loved seeing him help out with the animals! I wish I could visit Winter Falls and meet everyone! It would be a blast. I can’t wait to see what Dena has in store for us next!

I just cannot get enough of this quirky town, the rambunctious sisters, and the men who try to reel them in. This storyline was a fun twist on the initial failure to commit and how to earn back trust once broken- all spiced up by a town full of hippie meddlers! The humor and plot twist makes this a page turner…. I so enjoy a LOL while reading. I highly recommend!!!

Go Juniper!
I love animals❤️ Though she should get her pupper checked if he’s THAT full of gas. Lol
This book was great. I liked Juniper and as an animal lover myself I’ve been waiting to hear her story. Though I never suspected that it would involve a Hollywood actor! Maverick I found was like most guys and is clueless about women, but I give him lots of points for never giving up. Definitely recommend! Off the the next one!

Winter Falls is a place I wish I could visit! I want to chat with the Gossip Gals and watch the West sister bicker and meddle in each others lives!
Mav and Juniper were so entertaining and sweet to see come together. As a fellow animal lover I have found Juniper to be one of my favorite sisters from the start. The persistence of Mav was a treat and so endearing.

This book was just fantastic. There’s no other way to put it. As soon as it hit my kindle, I got right to reading it just like I did with the previous books in this series. It was hilarious, filled with love and emotion and was just the cutest romance ever. Though you’ll see me say that for pretty much all of Dena’s books. They are all wonderfully written and I really look forwards to reading Lilac’s book even if it’s the last of this series. It will be a bittersweet moment for all of us.

They always say watch out for the Hollywood types, they will break you heart but did Juniper listen? Nope she did not, she let Maverick sweet talked his way right into her heart and into her bed only to leave her high and dry after a night full of pleasure. Once bitten twice shy as they say and Juniper is taking this to heart, determined not to let Mav worm his way back into her heart she is put some distance between eh Hollywood heart throb and herself… well this would be a whole lot easier of only she did not work for his wildlife refuge centre. Oh and it would sure help if Mav got them memo that Juniper no longer wants to talk to him… but Juniper is not the only determined one in this situation, Maverick knows what he wants and he doesn’t plan on stopping until he woos Juniper back into his arms…

Okay let me just start of way saying I just loved going back to Winter Falls, I have been loving this series and with each book I’m convinced that it was my favourite but after reading Stay For Forever I think I can safely say that this book tops the list for me! I just loved the entire small town meets Hollywood big shot romance with loads of super cute animals thrown into the mix! Really Winter Falls is a town after my own heart with it hippy residents and pink sweater wearing Gossip Girls!

Juniper girl I feel you, I to prefer the company of my fur babies over some human company! I just loved her character and that her passion and love for animals shines through the pages! I absolutely feel in love with her three pups and sassy kitty, also how hilariously cute were their names! One of the things that I really liked about this character was that she did something about her love for animals, this made rooting her on all the more easy. As for our hero Maverick, well he was pretty charming all on his own. I just loved getting to see him try to win Juniper back and prove to her that he was ready to settle down in Winter Falls and that he wouldn’t just up and leave her. I just loved seeing him prove that he is not only committed to Juniper but also the town and the animals, this was a total swoon fest right here!

“Honestly?” Ashlyn asks, and I motion for her to continue. “I think it will happen again.”
I gasp.

I snap my teeth at her.
“But you two can discuss it before it happens again, can’t you? You don’t go all jealous girlfriend on him when he kisses another woman in a movie, do you?”
“Of course, not. He’s acting in a movie. I’m not an idiot.”
“Think of this as the same thing. It’s an act. Plain and simple.” Ashlyn stands and downs the rest of her wine. “My work here is done.” Ellery clasps my hand. “Ashlyn may be crazy, but she’s not wrong.”

So they’re basically saying it’s ok to treat her like a dirty little secret…
They actually convinced her that hiding her away is not a bad thing!!!???? Seriously!!!!
I raged, and I thought how unfair her sister’s were. They honestly expected her to allow her partner to advertise that he’s in a relationship with someone else, and risk HER being branded a homewrecker if their relationship got out.
Admittedly, this was a good read, and I did come around, but after the other sister’s relationship issues, they thought this was ok? It actually made me turn off them…

Mishaps, miscommunication and meddling at it’s rom-com best
Stay For Forever; a movie star small town romantic comedy (Winter Falls Book 4) by D.E. Haggerty is another wonderful romcom from this author. Juniper’s story is quite revealing! Not only do we get a deeper dive into Juniper’s heartbreak and love troubles, but we get to watch a Hollywood heartthrob learn a little humility and a big lesson about communication.
It’s heartbreak city for Juniper and while Mav is hurting too, he becomes more determined than ever to win Juniper back. The plot is full of Mav’s attempts, starting with an apology, then seeking help from anyone and everyone! Boy does he get a baptism by fire entertaining the gossip girls and their meddling, matchmaking shenanigans. More madcap meddling ensues as the West sisters try to help heal Juniper’s heart. Truly there’s never a dull moment in this book! And the moments are plentiful, involving most of the quirky town residents in one or more form or fashion, not to mention the sleuthing. The mystery provides timely distractions for Juniper and entertainment for the reader. So fun!
Overall, this book in the Winter Falls series is fast paced, especially since I had a difficult time putting it down for any reason! Juniper and Mav are sweet perfection and I adore that Mav gets Juniper. While he can definitely be a super sweetheart, he’s no slouch in the steamy department either. You get all the heat right alongside the heart and humor in Juniper and Mav’s romance and big gesture HEA.

Maverick Langston is big in Hollywood. He has a wildlife refuge in a small town called Winter Falls. Juniper is the manager at the refuge. Mav and Juniper have been jiggying with it but soon after the jiggying he goes off to Hollywood land with his lips smacking a co-star for a publicity stunt. But he forgets to mention that to June Bug.

But he forgets to mention that to June Bug.

It’s great to return to Winter Falls for another West sister’s story. This book can be read as a stand-alone but I recommend reading the entire series for the most enjoyment. All of the sisters and their partners show up in this story, so it’s like catching up with old friends. Winter Falls is a tiny Colorado green community that is home to wacky and unique characters. Juniper (one of five West sisters) manages an animal preserve for exotic animals abandoned by clueless owners who mistakenly thought the animals would make cute pets. The preserve is owned by Maverick, a handsome movie star. This book is about Juniper and “Mav’s” twists and turns to a HEA, as Mav tries to convince Juniper that he's in love and wants to settle down in Winter Falls with her. Readers get dual points of view, will catch up with the other sisters’ lives, and will get a conclusion to the treasure hunting sub-plot. This book contains all of the humor and wackiness of the West sisters and the quirky town of Winter Falls, with a romantic HEA. There is also some foreshadowing about the last sister’s story, so I can’t wait for the next book! Great book in a highly recommended series. I love Winter Falls and the West sisters!
Stay For Forever is the 4 book in the series and this focuses on Juniper West, one of five sisters. Juniper manages the Wildlife Refuge which is owned by movie star, Maverick Langston. Juniper and Maverick were secretly seeing each other until Maverick broke her trust. Now he is trying to earn that and her heart back.
Juniper is strong-willed just like her parents and sisters. Like her sisters, she has been burned by love and won't allow her heart to be unprotected again. She resists his efforts to rekindle what they had. Enter the gossip gals... a group of women in this small town who love to matchmake and meddle in the lives of others. Between these ladies and Juniper's sisters, Maverick has plenty of backup to help him in his efforts to win Juniper back. First though, he needs to prove that he is committed to not only Juniper, but the town.
Just like with the previous books in the series each sister plays a role as do their significant others. It's just as much fun watching the men interact as it is the women!

A lighthearted, easy read that you'll find immensely enjoyable
And another sister bites the dust. This is the fourth book in the wonderfully eccentric series set in Winter Falls. “Winter Falls is weird. Don’t get me wrong. I love the quirky Colorado town where the environment is more important than wearing pants. I’m not joking, no matter how much I wish I were. But each to their own.”
Ms. Haggerty has created a set of characters in this town who are offbeat, genuine, hilarious and take being called nosey as a compliment. The West sisters, of which there are five, have been finding their happily ever afters in each of the books in the series and this one is Juniper's turn. She had been hooking up with the owner of the wildlife refuge she runs, Maverick, a Hollywood A lister, on occasions when he was in town until he leaves her bed and is then on camera missing another woman the next day. She definitely makes him work hard for her forgiveness and you'll enjoy reading every minute of that with many laugh out loud moments along the way. This author is a hit or miss for me. Sometimes her books are super cute and funny, and other times the books are rather slow and the humor is a touch stupid. Unfortunately, this book was the latter. It was probably the strangest story I’ve read by this author. The characters acted in such an outlandish way that I constantly wanted to roll my eyes at the ridiculousness. I don’t expect true reality in romance novels, but I also don’t like such utterly unrealistic, weird behaviors and discussions.
As for the characters, Juniper did nothing for me. She was very indecisive, and I grew tired of her constant screams of “Enough!” whenever anyone annoyed her. I kind of liked Maverick. I enjoyed his dogged pursuit of Juniper and his occasional alpha tendencies. The timeline of their relationship was a bit hard to follow though since we were introduced to them after they had already met and been together for some period of time.
Overall, this book didn’t meet my expectations. The character interactions and humor were just too odd. I do not recommend this novel.

Back to Winter Falls,I wanted to read the rest of the books in the series since i read meet disaster the spin off to the series.I am reading them out of order,but they are standalone and just as enjoyable.

I’ve been noticing a pattern to this series. Each book focuses on one of five sisters and their “romantic” quest to find their “one true love”. But can you really call it a romance when the main female character focuses way, way, way too much time on hating, demeaning, embarrassing, and just being mean to the guy that she is supposed to be on this romantic journey with? This pattern is consistent throughout most of the stories in this series. The one exception was Ashlyn’s story, mostly because she was doing the pursuing in that story.
In this particular story, each time Juniper was mean to Mav, I was pulled out of the illusion. All I felt was sorrow for the poor, imaginary guy. I never got to the point where I actually enjoyed the story. I kept worrying about the next cringeworthy moment about to happen, and there were many.
The final chapter was dedicated to setting up the last sister’s story. It appears to be headed in the same direction as the other three banshee tales. I think I’m going to have to skip it.

When your movie star boss walks out after a one night stand and comes back wanting to try things for real, what do you do?
Juniper is absolutely obsessed with animals. It's basically her whole personality besides loving her sisters, parents, and Winter Falls. She's been working at the wildlife refuge in town, but when Maverick Langston (the movie star and her boss!!) shows up in town to rekindle what they started, she's not interested. I mean after all he did walk out after their one night together before she woke up. As he begins to show to her than he's fully committed to her and staying in town, her defenses begin to lower with the help of her meddlesome sisters and the town's matchmakers.
Juniper and Maverick were absolutely hilarious as was the rest of the Winter Falls clan. I only have good things to say about this book and about the series in general. If you haven't read the other books in the series, I recommend going back and starting from the beginning. I guarantee you won't regret it.

Another visit to the environmentally conscious town of Winter Falls, where gossip and matchmaking seem to be the principal currency. It’s Juniper’s turn to be subject to the romantic meddling, with the enthusiastic collusion of Mav, who is desperate to atone for previous mistakes.
As ever, the West sisters and their extended family are by turns supportive and annoying - realistic, basically. Juniper, who gets on better with animals than people, is understandably insecure about someone of Maverick’s fame wanting her, and she grows and learns in the course of the book. I would have liked more on Mav: his background, how he came to Winter Falls, as he didn’t feel as fully-realised as the larger-than-life characters around him. Overall a solid four-star addition to the series, and I’m intrigued to see how things pan out for Lilac…

The Winter Falls series by D.E. Haggerty is one of my favorite series. I love the quirky gossipy 'matchmakers' in town. I love the dynamics of all of the West sisters and the men in their lives and in book 4, Stay For Forever, Juniper and Mav do not disappoint in Stay for Forever.
Maverick may be a Hollywood actor but he's ready to prove to Juniper (how cute that he calls her June Bug?) that he's all in. She's not ready to trust him, after all, his time in the limelight doesn't have a good track record for being faithful to the girl he left behind in a small town.
I loved watching him working at winning her heart again! You just can't help falling in love with them separately and together, and all of the interactions with the West family make you wish you lived in town so you could be a part of it!

Juniper is a person who connects better with animals than with humans, so falling in love with a famous hollywood actor and to deal with his fans and promotion ideas surely puts a strain on her self confidence - she rather retreats than risking getting her heart broken over and over again.
Mav has quite a lot to deal with - dealing with fans who sometimes know no boundaries, fake love affairs as a means of promotion, the crazy life not only in Hollywood but also the very unconventional citizens of Winter Falls.
I enjoyed reading about those two finding balance and compromise but not giving up on their love and as always the relationship among the West family and Winter Falls´citizens were highly amusing.

Haggerty has done it again! This is another amazing instalment in the Winter Falls series.
I love the relationship that develops between Juniper and Maverick. It has some of my favourite tropes: small-town, second-chance romance. Plus he's a famous, and attractive, actor, what’s not to love!

Back in Winter Falls! Juniper really doesn't want to fall for this guy because she did once and he hurt her really badly. Maverick has a lot of work to do to earn her forgiveness and get her to trust him again. This is something totally new for him but that's exactly what he wants. I have loved this series all the way through. I will admit, there was one scene in this book I wasn't overly fond of, it seemed like her reaction was over top for what it was- I mean what he did was a big deal, but with how upset she had been, her public reaction seemed out of place too me. But overall, I loved this book almost as much as the rest of the series and I am with Juniper and her sisters- really excited to watch the fun unfold with their final sister.

Juniper's sisters, along with a lot of characters (the gossip gals!) in Winter Falls, are just a hoot! They certainly try very hard to get Juniper and Maverick their HEA. Maverick is a movie star with some ties to Winter Falls. Juniper and Maverick have huge misunderstanding due to miscommunication which results in Juniper not wanting to have anything to do with Maverick any longer. Clueless Mav tries hard to win Juniper back, but they really have to work on their communication. It doesn't help when the sisters and gossip gals try to help things along. I loved the humor and they did eventually got their HEA. Although this is 4th book in the series, it's my 1st one to read. I need to go back and read 1-3 and finish up with Lilac's story.

Mav and Juniper’s story has been building for some time. Mav, the movie star slash wildlife refuge owner is back and ready to win back his lady after he snuck out leaving Juniper sleeping one morning. He’s got a huge mountain to climb because Juniper is not about to give him a second chance to break her heart leaving her for a Hollywood starlet. But scale mountains is one of Maverick’s hidden talents and he’s ready for life away from Hollywood cameras. He just has to convince Juniper he’s serious with the help of the colorful town folk, that never fail to lend a helping hand LOL, he should be a shoe in right? Well, Juniper may have something to say about that before settling down with her forever one. Great story and wonderful chapter in the Winter Falls series. I've been waiting for Juniper's story. I have a soft spot for her and her love of animals. The animals lead to some comedic moments. The West sisters and Gossip Gals are to their shenanigans. I gobbled this book right up and I couldn't put it down. Maverick and Juniper had me hooked. Maverick has some groveling to do to get his second chance with Juniper. Maverick has his swoon worthy moments that any romantic would happy sigh about. Maverick may be a Hollywood star on the big screen, but he fits right in with the citizens of Winter Falls. Trust me even though this is he fourth book I fell in love with Winter Falls all over again. The West sisters make wish you could be part of their group. I can't wait for the next book in the series! It's going to be a good one especially with the tease we got at the end of this one!

In the continuing stories of the West sisters, this is Juniper and Maverick’s story. Maverick my be Hollywood’s latest romance movie heartthrob, but that doesn’t earn him any brownie points with Juniper. If anything, it is a big strike against him. This story starts after Maverick has already messed up and revolves around him trying to prove that he is the right man for Juniper and that she should give him another chance. I like that we see resolution to the side story of the missing loot, but I do tire of the shenanigans of all of the busybodies. It’s understandable why Juniper prefers animals but it is worth reading to see how she decides to deal with the human component of her life.

Juniper West thought she had found her soul mate in Maverick Langston. Juniper works at the wildlife refuge. Maverick owns the refuge. He is also an actor. He did something for publicity and broke Juniper’s heart. Juniper is an animal lover who has decided she doesn’t need Maverick in her life. Maverick tries to win her back but Juniper isn’t making it easy. Her sisters and the town try to get them back together. Winter Falls is one crazy town, but the characters are great. I loved Juniper and Maverick together. They had great chemistry and I rooted for them to get back together. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.
