This was a quick read. Mr. Bennet was stunned when Darcy approached him after the Netherfield Ball and asked for Miss Elizabeth’s hand in marriage. He agreed and after Darcy left, sent for Elizabeth. Stunned would not even approach what Elizabeth felt. She was horrified that the stoic disdainful Mr. Darcy would joke with her father in such a way. Mr. Bennet assured her that Mr. Darcy was not joking and was in fact in love with her. When Bennet saw her stubborn expression, he told her he did not have much time left due to his health. She was crushed that she would be sacrificed to save her family. But then decided he was a better choice than Collins had been.
The rest of the story was Elizabeth falling in love with her husband. That was cute. The story was busy with them getting to know each other. Then, suddenly, someone recognized her as their long-lost relative. That threw the story on its ear. We had just a few chapters as everyone adjusted their thinking regarding Lady Elizabeth Darcy. Oh, Caroline, how do you prefer your crow served?
Quick read by an author new to me. Short summary with SPOILERS …….
Elizabeth learns from Mr Bennet that he is gravely ill and asks Elizabeth to marry Darcy to ensure Mrs Bennet and her sisters are cared for after he dies and Mr Collins takes over Longbourn due to the entail. Lizzy does not want to marry Darcy for the obvious reasons but does her duty to her family.
Over time, a very patient and understanding Darcy (somewhat hard to believe) shows Elizabeth that he really does love her and accepts her family (the Gardiners, her sisters and her mother). Mr Bennet is on his deathbed when Elizabeth returns home and can truthfully tell her father that she loves Mr Darcy and all is well in their new married life.
And speaking of Mr Bennet and being her father…he is NOT her biological father. Elizabeth was found by Mr Bennet on the side of road like some stray kitten and we learn that Elizabeth is actually the daughter of an earl and countess and is actually Lady Elizabeth.
Happily ever after, etc etc. Simplistic, if at times superficial writing (I’m sorry to say it, but there it is). I read this on a fanfic site and did not purchase.

This was ok for an unpublished story. Mr. Darcy decides to propose earlier and Mr. Bennet tells Elizabeth to accept because he knows he's dying. She finds out that Darcy is a good man after all. Despite being in mourning for her father, Elizabeth then attends a ball with him and finds previously unknown relations.
This is an arranged marriage/forced marriage from Lizzy's perspective, after some coercion from Mr Bennet (as he is dying). I had misremembered this one as one where Lizzy was exceptionally foolish and prejudiced. She wasn't. She started off quite resentful and angry at her father, but cooler heads prevailed and she came around; 'Miracle occurs here!' without her blowing up at Darcy accusing him of all sorts of nonsense. Lizzy actually takes the time to try to gather information. I liked it. It was a fairly quick read. https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14068488... https://archiveofourown.org/works/560...
