Hil When I pulled into Snow Tip Falls there was nothing about it that made me want to stay. It’s a beautiful small town, but if you stop running, your problems have a way of catching up with you.
However, when tragedy strikes, it’s hard not to help. And when the person needing help is a chiseled football player with brooding eyes, dimples and an endless desire to protect me, I’m reminded of the other purpose of my trip, to have a one night stand that finally rids me of my gay v-card.
I know why I haven’t lost it yet. Guys confuse me. Cali isn’t confusing, mostly because he doesn’t say much. Maybe he’ll be the one. And if I get his rippling, jock body wrapped around me, it will totally be worth the heart break that will follow when he finds out who I am and what I’ve done.
CALI You know how some people are rays of sunshine that light up a room? That’s Hil. Man, it’s annoying. Annoying or not, it’s not like I can refuse his offer of help if I want to stay in university, or on the football team.
It’s not that he’s hard to look at. That guy makes me think dirty thoughts.
And, it not like he isn’t the sweetest, kindest guy I’ve ever met…
Wait, am I falling for the stranger who showed up out of nowhere wanting to fix my life?
There’s a reason I like to keep to myself. And as hot as Hil is, I’m not sure my heart can take being hurt again.

1.5 star bc, I have to give it at least 1 star, and half bc of the back end of the book got interesting.
Ugh. This series is written so bad... It's such a train wreck that I can't stop myself... the only good thing about this was the thrill/danger in the plot of the back half...
Found out that there is a spinoff novel with 2 side characters which I will suffer thru as well bc again, I CANT HELP MYSELF!
...But with a HEA. Call and Hil were together at the end of the book with Call having rescued Hil with his brother Remy. It didn't say where they ended up, wether they were returning to Snow Tip Falls or staying in New York but with the next book being about Remy and Dillon in guessing New York will feature for a bit.
Hil is a mafia son who ran away from home because he’s sick of being stuck in his parents penthouse in nyc and he wanted to get out and live a little. He ended up in small town snowtip falls Tennessee where he stayed at a bed and breakfast. He let the owner drive his car and she was run off the road and ended up in the hospital. Her son has to run the bed and breakfast while she’s laid up. Cali is the son of dr. Sonya. He is one of the people that ended up being Titus’s brother along with Claude. They all have the same dad but none of the moms are confessing. Just dr Sonya told Cali that his dad was a bad dude. Cali and hil are immediately attracted to each other. Hil feels guilty about the accident fearing he was the one they were targeting. Then they find out calis mom needs surgery but they don’t have Insurance and can’t afford to pay for it. Hil remembers there’s a few thousand dollars in cash in the car at the bottom of the ravine so he and Cali go to retrieve it. But when they do, they see a bomb in the trunk. They make a run for it and it goes off but they aren’t hurt. So now they know for sure that someone is after Hil. After a few weeks of not letting Hil leave the house, Cali takes him to the store but he’s snatched up and stolen. Turns out it was Hils brother remy that came to get him because their father is dying and he wanted Hil to be able to say goodbye. Hil calls Cali after a couple weeks and tells him that they can’t see each other because he won’t risk calis safety but Cali is all fuck that shit I’m coming to get you. So they make a getaway plan and hil goes to his bff Dillon’s house. Right when Cali is supposed to get there Hil is snatched up again! When Cali shows up, remy is there and Cali recognizes him as stealing Hil before so he goes to beat his ass and then remy wants to beat Cali but Dillon makes them stop and tells everyone who’s who. Remy makes a call and figures out where Hil was taken so they go to get him. He’s being held by a rival family so they make a deal that when remy and hils dad dies this other dude will get whatever territory he wants in exchange for leaving them the hell alone. And the dude agrees but also shoots Cali in the leg. They go back to remy and hils penthouse and Cali gets all stitched up and that’s where it ends.

I’ve been reading these books in order and so far each one seems to really focus on a topic and show two different sides to a similar problem. From not feeling good enough, childhood trauma, or crazy family secrets. This books follows suit but in a different way. Both MC’s have baggage when coming into the story but it’s not similar. One deals with the lost of their first love and the other over protective family members.
The plots is alittle spicer then the first 3 but with the length of the book and the depth of the plot it’s not insanely spicy. If these story’s went for another 100 pages I would definitely expect more spice.
Although these are stand alone books, I am interested to see how Dillion and Remy’s story in Book 5 connects to Snow Tip Falls.

Grumpy Boss Trouble was good. I gave it a 4 star ⭐️ rating because I felt like it wasn’t finished. It goes from being a great story to being a good one after one MC is kidnapped (Hal) and the other is shot (Cali). After Cali is brought to the penthouse and is bandaged up and the two MCs have smexy time it ends. Just ends. You are left wondering ok what happens next. Then it goes to the author letting you know to subscribe to their website ( patreon with this AI coin chat), to see what Claude has found out about Cali’s father. And then you have the last three books to read their story at the end. Why waste the space? But anyway 4 stars ⭐️ for me. Not happy with the ending at all. 💜
This author is a scam artist, republishing the same book over and over with a spicy version, wholesome version, MF version, MM version, PNR version etc with almost no changes. Not only is this against Amazon rules, they're stealing from real authors doing real work and from readers expecting a decent story. No idea how they're getting away with it or how people are so confused when it's literally right in the blurb. Pathetic.
(Luckily) the books get shorter as the series drudged on. I like that I’ve met the characters before, but just don’t think I can jump to the next series that has characters from this book…
This book was really good. The drama was very interesting and the plot was really good. I loved the different aspects. The characters were great in this book too!
