Caleb Johnson: Mountain Man: A Big Toad In A Small Puddle: A Frontier Western Adventure

by Charles Ray

The twenty-eighth book in the Mountain Life Western Adventure series from Charles Ray!

Bear Creek has problems. An upstart newcomer had defeated its old mayor in an election and Caleb and his friends don’t understand how he did it. Then, a rich easterner shows up with a plan to buy out all the local farms and ranches and he’s brought a gang of hired guns to make it difficult for anyone to resist his sales pitch. He hasn’t reckoned on the stubbornness of Caleb Johnson and his Shoshone wife, Flora, though, as they rally the residents of Bear Creek to preserve their homes and way of life.
