Dream Hunter
Some dreams are strange. Mine come with a dangerous stranger.
I might not be a half-angel like my best friend, or a skilled Hunter fighter like my older brother, or deal in potions like a part-demon, but I’m excellent at lucid dreaming. Kind of. I’m lucid enough in them, but my body refuses to obey me—all I do is walk and watch the strange worlds of dreams pass by.
Until the stranger appears. Tall and looming and unaware I’m not a figment of his imagination, happy to walk by my side while talking to himself.
Everything about him screams danger—the angel or demon kind—and I dread the day he realizes I’m my own person and decides to play with me, or worse, torture information out of me. He seems the type, and my guts agree. Which means I better figure out a way to deal with him and my dreams fast because what happens in dreams…doesn’t always stay in dreams.

Sol Reyes is having problems with her dreams. A stranger keeps visiting them, and although Sol is fully aware in her dreams, she can't get her body to act as she wants. The stranger doesn't seem to have the same problem, and even though she doesn't know who he is, everything about him screams danger. Sol needs to find a way to deal with him - before it's too late.
This is a novella that takes place in the same universe as the Realms Unleashed: Red Angel series, and it's only available to the author's newsletter subscribers. Sol is Red Angel-Ana's best friend, so we've met her before, but this time she's the centre of attention!
Some events we've already read about before, and although it's told from Sol's point of view, it gets a bit repetetive. We also know about her dream problem, but not in detail, so it's interesting to get the whole story. We get to follow Sol in her dreams with the unpleasant stranger and her atempts to find a solution. When the book is over she's succeeded, but the stranger's identity is still a mystery so I guess we haven't seen the last of him!

This was an intriguing novella.
It was about 67 pages in total, so the world building wasn't great and the explanations for the world and half-beings felt quite confusing at times, but I enjoyed this well enough for what it was.
Though I realize I can't stand things like "Brrr!" or "Haha!" in writing.
Also, a few places the words were misspelled (yes, I know! The crime that I noticed that! OH NO! HOW COULD I!) and once it said something was near the MFC's sneakers... except the book makes it clear that she wears SANDALS (there's a reason for that).
Are those things terrible offenses? No, but they were inconsistent with the story and I don't like inconsistencies. Sue me. *shrugs*
Anyway, intrigued enough that I will try the series.

Loved getting to know more of Sol's side of things. Obviously there was repetition from Demonic Mayhem, and def do not read this before you've read the three first Realms Unleashed: Red Angel books!
Hopefully we'll soon get more of Sol's story. :)
