This is another thought-provoking story, which, although short, it packs a punch.
Why?
Because it demonstrates human behaviour, particularly the lies they tell themselves and others. It shows the destructive nature of some human endeavours; sad but illuminating.
I liked how the characters interacted and the writing style that needed few words for the point to be made...no spoilers.
This author has a talent for revealing human traits and relationships in a way that is relatable.
Will lessons be learned? Decide for yourself.
