this is an Arc read and the first book I have read by this author. I highy recommend it, because it is an enjoyable read. Nathan Pace has hung up his badge and is headed to san Diego with his mother and brother. They are headed for a different life till an outlaw robs the train and in the process, Nathan's mother and brother die. Now Nathan is out to bring the outlaws to justice. This is the interesting story of how Nathan, Buddy, and eventually Sarah get the job done. The chase takes Nathan across Texas until he gets the job done.

A comment made in the intro to this story caught my attention and not in favor.of.reading g this or any story with the same.thoughts . The main character was not afraid to.die . As a.combat vet at the worst time in Viet Nam and I never met a man ,a true combat so!dier who..said he was not afraid.to.die . If I heard a man tell.me he was not afraid he was taken off line as a danger to all around him .when yoh have lost.the fear of dying ,you have lost.the will.to.live .....Period

This Is another great western adventure With lots of Criminals , Outlaws and Shootouts. So far all of the books I have read by this author are extremely violent and graphic , so are not suitable for children.
Of course there is a wonderful hero In each book but he goes through many trials and tribulations.
I got this e-book from Amazon📚 with Kindle unlimited.

Better
This was very well done! I have previously mentioned that his heroes were terrible shots and got shot more often than they should to survive. In this novel, our hero⁶ was a great shot and survived situations that were amazing, without energy. A good fast read highly recommended.

The legend
Unfortunately, there are many men like Thresher. Cold,, hard, cruel men. And very few like Nathan Pace. Trump comes to mind. Highly recommended for all adult readers who like justice over law.

Great Story of Frontier Justice.
Easy read. A page turner about new friends, outlaws, crooked lawmen, grueling desert trip and a typical ending into the sunset.

I'm glad to see a lawman that can take care of business!
The main thing about the characters in this story, no matter how tough they had it, good does win out in the long run!
