My pursuers? Three gorgeous hitmen with a penchant for killing omegas, each one more brutal than the last.
That’s what I get for attacking my Correction Officer at the Omega Correction Compound. Somehow, I managed to escape by the skin of my teeth, and now I live a life on the run.
They were going to kill me for being too spirited. Untameable. An omega with too much backbone. Yet to my surprise, my hunters only go and spare me, and that was how I ended up in the custody of Pack Cobra.
Roman, Sebastian, and Isaac are tempting in every way, yet falling for my kidnappers is out of the question.
I have to escape them.
After all, I belong to no pack.
I’m a big girl and I can take care of myself, thank you.
This is a captivating omegaverse standalone that will take you on an emotional roller coaster from start to finish, so some scenes may be too emotional and triggering to some readers. There are references to past abuse too. Also, this book contains MM and MMFM.

When she's not writing about werewolves, vampires, and faeries, she can be found watching cute fox videos online, or drinking a ridiculous amount of tea and cof
This story was a mess. Possible spoilers but trust me you don’t want to read this anyways. I got to about about 45% hoping a steamy scene would make something salvageable and there’s was just a super unrealistic scene between 2 male characters and I gave up. Here’s a helpful tip for authors writing mm scenes; there must be lube.
First we have the most unbelievable prison escape I’ve ever heard of. Then we have 3 mass murders as our love interests. That’s how they make money, killing omegas. The instant two of these guys lay eyes on this “angel” they decide they can’t do it. For reasons. Not sure.
Despite stabbing a prison guard to death our heroine acts completely terrified at all times. She’s crumpling in a ball and whimpering multiple times. She’s hiding under every bed she comes across. She’s so deeply ashamed that she kept her murdering kidnappers from their dinner. She sucks basically.
There’s lots of story inconsistencies. One character says something moronic and the h thinks he’s an idiot and then the next time they interact he’s talking about how the other guys are getting “hangry” and our h thinks it’s so so clever how he put hungry and angry together, she doesn’t know why he thinks he’s stupid. He doesn’t… you do. 5 pages ago. They think she’s super dangerous for some reason but they let her have a knife and then just forgets she has it. They think she’s too dangerous to be on the same property as the grandmother but literally the next day make her the grandmothers caregiver. Alone. With a knife. They lead alpha feels so guilty that he put a tracker on her for one whole day but not that he almost killed her and kidnapped her.
I don’t think I’ve read a story where I’ve hated every single one of the characters before this one

2.7 stars. Ugh. I had so many problems with this book. Mostly stemming from the writing style getting on my damn nerves every two seconds. This author is emotionally attached to redundancy. I couldn’t count the amount of times she said something at the beginning of a sentence, only to repeat that exact thing at the end. Then there were the emotional support ‘…,and’s she put in every other sentence, that only made sense about half of the time. Plus, there was the bullshit where she’d just let her characters spill their guts to you the second you met them. I think I saw the phrase ‘and that’s why he’s/I’m like that’ or ‘he/I wouldn’t be like this if that hadn’t happened’, about fifty times. And a good 60% of those were at the very beginning as we were getting introduced to the damn characters. I mean damn. Would a little less self awareness, a little more mystery hurt them? Oof. If you can’t tell, I’m so pissed at myself for finishing this damn book.
The characters were trash. There was just too much flip flopping. Like, at the beginning of the book, we get introduced to Roman as he’s getting the call for the hit put out on Dove, and he’s thinking all kinds of shitty thoughts about omegas and their ‘place’ in the world. And then all of that falls apart by about 30% of the way in, and not because he’s growing and learning and developing, more so because he’s apparently forgotten he was a part of the problem about 3 seconds prior.
And the rest of the characters are basically the same just in different fonts.
The plot was unsatisfying, though I could see where it Could have been good. The writing was Not for me. I didn’t connect with the characters, at ALL. The sex was probably the best part, but even that was just, okay. The MM was atrociously underdeveloped and seemed to only be a thing to substitute their need for an omega.
I finished the book, even though I was skipping paragraphs and forcing myself to continue in some parts, and I’m giving it a higher score than I really think I should, because I can see where it Could be a better book with some intense editing and revisions in grammar and character development.
Im a little salty about it, but I’m being ‘nice’…in a bitchy way.😂🤷🏻♀️
I definitely had to push my way through this book. I really didn’t like the fact that the pack were omega killers for money. And ones motivation was for money to support his grandmother 😖. Killing young women to support an old one … just nope.
Dove came off as simple minded with little depth and her pack was not any better.
I felt too much of the plot line was wiped away with fairly simple solutions when in fact the world these omegas live in would not have been that easy to basically gloss over. And her just accepting the pack and all of them falling in love with no redemption for them just didn’t sit well with me.

If you want an easy read to pass a few hours this is for you. Wasnt a fan, it was hard to get through, the blurb hinted at more than this delivered. 3 damaged men who fall for a trapped omega. The trauma to the 3 men was interesting but not explored enough, they didnt even discuss most of it with the female for her to understand why they were this way. No questions as to why they did the job and what they possibly did to others of her designation. 2 alphas were in a 'relationship' before but with no emotions involved, well mostly for one, which is something i dont like, i like emotions to be written and felt. Very insta lovey, the intimate moments were the least erotic i ever read, stabbing him over and over before he squirted?? Really thats the best wording that could be used. Lots of lose ends still to be covered but not enough interest to see if the series improves
Congrats to this book for being the first book to make me so mad I couldn't even make myself suffer through the first 50 pages.
Normally I wouldn't count a book I dnf'd so early as read, but (at least for now) I'm going back on my morals so I can give this one star :)
First of all, the writing style is awful. I think a twelve year old who just discovered wattpad could write something more readable than this. It feels like the author wrote one draft of this all at once and decided it was perfect for publishing.
There is an important line between fiction and reality and I think people should be able to write the stories they want, dark subject matter or no. It becomes infuriating to me when it feels like someone is using a triggering topic only because it is an easy way to make a story or character darker.
Please can we not make an abuse victim bring up their trauma every time they are on the page. Let's not call them soulless and cold-hearted because of their trauma EVERY TIME THEY ARE ON PAGE. Also maybe don't have them internally beg for someone to fix them and then introduce a romantic interest to be that balm to their brokenness. To me it just reads as insensitive and lazy writing.
If you enjoyed this book, I'm happy for you. I absolutely abhorred that this book took up any amount of my mental energy and I wish to forget it immediately.
🛑 In this world omegas are locked up and dangerous yet highly sought after for breeding. Okay, sure. But then if they escape, they’re murdered. Why? If they’re highly desirable, why kill them then? This makes no sense.
🛑 FMC murders her guard to escape. She wants to die. But oh no, now she doesn’t! She’s so anxious. Oh no, now she has snark! She hates alphas. Oh no, she describes the MMCs scents like it’s ChatGPT and instantly gets slick for them! Well… Okay then 🫠
WHAT WOULD HAVE INCREASED MY RATING
✨ Keep the whole omegas locked up, but instead of murdering rogue omegas, they’re captured to be, essentially, punished and brainwashed. MMCs hunt them down and have to wait for transport. This makes it make more sense why the FMC isn’t killed and why they take her in, instead of weird ass instalust.
✨ Have the FMC yearn for death instead of being near alphas. Show what PTSD, anxiety, and stress does. The hiding under the bed, “Yes Alpha”, all that—that was fine, but the internal narration needed work for me personally.
✨ Less nicknames to distinguish the MMCs. Give them more weight.
✨ Have some fucking more respect for the omega victims. Roman deserves to be shot with how he insinuates the omega Jeanette as boring and bland when she was more than likely horrifying indoctrinated.
Omegas Don’t Cry by Violet Fox is a whole new take on omegas and alphas. In this world the omegas do not live in comfort, they are kept in cells or sanctuaries as they are referred to in the book. How I viewed them is as cattle, they are made to obey and submit. If they don’t, well that is a whole different story. Omegas are taken to these sanctuaries when they come of age and it is against the law to keep them from the government. They only have two purposes: to breed with alphas and give birth to alphas.
We meet Dove right in the very beginning of the book, where she is escaping the OCC after attacking her CO. She is an omega who is quite strong and has had enough. Her life and loved ones had been taken from her and when her CO went after her, she finally fought back. Unfortunately, now she is viewed as a dangerous and untamed omegas. A kill order is put out on our girl. That order brings in some sexy psychopath alphas, who kill criminals for a living. Three of them to be exact. Something about Dove makes them hesitant with going through with the order. For them this is weird because they normally have not a problem.
I honestly enjoyed the story and this take on Omegaverse. Violet Fox had a great idea with this telling of omegas. There are some grammar and spelling mistakes but for me, that did not take away from the story. I do recommend people read this book. Like I said, it is a good book and I enjoyed it.
I really don’t understand all the good reviews. This book sounded so interesting. I gave it to 51% but couldn’t force myself to finish it. The writing is just awful and I’m sorry to say that. For starters there is zero conversation between the characters and we’re just told everything. All the characters make all these assumptions based off of nothing. It’s just lazy writing. The characters also have huge changes of heart with no explanation. For example, in the beginning the alphas think the OCC is the best thing for omegas and the government can do no wrong. Then for NO REASON, Roman says society needs to change and the prison is wrong. What?!? I could do on and on with other baffling examples. This story had so much potential. A good editor could have saved this.
I did not finish this book. I read 8% and said peace out. The first quarter of the book is normally when the author sets up the characters and their personalities. Within the first 8% of this book, the author is already wishy-washy on how the characters are going to behave. The female main character seems to be this kind of strong-willed, survivalist, but when she was almost shot, she had a moment where she just kind of broke down and accepted that she was going to die. And then Sebastian is supposed to be this hard-core, strong, stoic killer and he’s having a moment of self doubt and instead of killing the omega he thinks he should kill himself? I don’t get it. At all. Will not come back and read again.
This is a tough one for me. I usually love reading a/b/o books but unfortunately, even though I gave it a good try and finished it, this book just wasn't for me. Regardless of that, it did have some positives that kept me reading; the world building was interesting and tied in perfectly with the story, the main characters were consistent in their characterizations and their intricate backstories helped explain their behaviour throughout the story, and even with the quick pace of the plot there was enough suspense to keep me curious and reading when I considered dnfing. The writing was okay with only a handful of typos or errors throughout, but it just didn’t have that polished feel to its storytelling, meaning it felt a bit juvenile at times even when the subject matter was heavy. I wish it went through a few more rounds of editing to really highlight the strong points of the story, but as it is now, it was an alright read that kept me entertained—and if I’m being honest, eager to finish so I could both know the ending and move on to other books.
This book had all the classic a/b/o trademarks but included a sinister twist to the world it takes place in, so though the book has fluff between the characters it’s almost always intertwined with the darker themes. The relationships felt natural (biological insta-attraction aside) and I liked how the addition of the FMC evolved the dynamic within the existing pack instead of changing it completely. The spice was actually pretty good and tied in nicely with the a/b/o aspects of the story while also being used to bring the MCs emotionally closer together. Personal opinions of the writing and execution of the story itself, I think the author did a good job with this group of characters.
Full transparency, I heavily skimmed 3 chapters (22, 23, and 24) since it was either that or put the book down for good and at that point I was invested in the story, wanting to know how it ended without reading the unnecessary set-up for the climax. Honestly, a lot of this book could be skipped without missing out on the overarching story, but it moves quickly enough that the filler between the groundbreaking stuff doesn’t drag too much. Even with my skimming I was able to follow along with the plot until the ending, and actually went back for another quick skim to make sure I didn’t miss anything important (I didn’t). That aside, the climax was suspenseful and led to a satisfying ending for this group of characters.
All in all, this was an overall okay book with a strong story that has the potential to be great with a little more work.
I knew this book would be a wild ride, and I was right. It just wasn't in a good way. This book and the world were all over the place, like it didn't know what it wanted to be. It felt like there was very little editing, due to all the repeated descriptions and phrases. Plus, there were huge gaping holes in the story. So many inconsistencies.
First off, the first time we meet the MMC, they were all about hating omegas and how they all need to be murdered, etc. They were 100% part of the problem with their society, and were OK with it. Now, all of a sudden, they get hit with insta-lust and think there is a problem? Another inconsistency is that early on they mentioned the omegas being cared for, then later on, they know that they were in a prison.
It felt like none of them really talked to each other, either. If there were conversations, I might understand them all falling for each other, but it felt like they didn't.
And THEN! The biggest issue I had with this: If she was this big, bad, and dangerous person, then why would you trust her to be around your grandmother alone? Putting a tracker on her doesn't really protect grandma, it will just help you find the omega after she has murdered her and run off. Seriously. A tracker is supposed to protect everyone? And then they decide to take it off after a day because somehow she has proven to be trustworthy, out of the blue.
The writing on this was not good. It was so bad, that I'm not going to continue the series, I am done. There was just not enough fleshed out, and too many holes in everything. I would not recommend this to others.
This book was good. I enjoyed it enough but probably will not be re-reading it. I will, however, read Ravyn's story when that book comes out.
I certainly connected with different aspects of the characters and often found myself very empathetic to them all. This book brought good emotional reactions, I spent a fair amount of time crying through different points in the first two thirds of the book.
Somewhere it did loose a bit in all it was trying to do and some of the repetitiveness. Dove and the alphas of the Cobra pack have so much to overcome through the book. I do feel like there was predictability and cliche in some of the story lines but that wasn’t bad.
I don't know if it is writing style or not but I feel like there were points the author wanted to drive it home and did so too hard. I read basically the same thing in different ways over and over until I finally was like "okay this is repetitive now" despite that I still enjoyed the book.
**Small spoilers ahead, beware** * * * **last spoiler warning** * * * Personal points that I found I didn't love was the name Roman and Rome for twins. I found it so off-putting. I wish she'd given them more unique to their own names.
Lastly, I personally hated the epilogue. I feel like she took a pretty serious book that covers some heavy topics and made it some kind of joke with the snakes coming to life thing. It could be symbolism I just couldn't vibe with and I could be the only person to feel that way.
**Please note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.**
So, I read a lot of Omegaverse books. It's my favorite genre, and of course, it was a no-brainer to read it.
This book remembered me of another book, called Omega Found, because the theme is kind of similar. Both the FMCs were kept on a compound by the government to learn how to be obedient and good omegas, before auctioned off to Alphas to be bred.
And both harems have at least one guy, that hates the Omega at first. And the females in both act in the beginning after the rules they have been taught, and what they know about alphas. But that's where the similarities end.
So, Dove is different in some ways. She is, for one, not helpless. I found it funny, how she named her weapons. And her inner monologues are sometimes crazy, too. I have a soft spot for the psychopathic characters. So, yeah, I liked the guys too. Unhinged, but still with depth and loveable.
They fit with each other. The relationship is the central point of the book, of course. Sure, as every book, it has villains and other things in it.
Overall, I liked reading it. It gets the well-earned 4 stars from me, and I'm interested in the next book about Dove's friend. I have a little hope for a certain Alpha pack... But for now, I recommend reading this one.
Smutt. There is a lot. Once you get threw half the book it's just eh. A couple of good ones but not rub your thighs together good.
Book. Weak, innocent, small. If I hear the enough time I'm going to bang my head into the wall. I get that it's omega and that they are all those things, but when trying to have one different then the others it's kinda of blah. Plays on the one knot to change. Female doesn't get much depth after her 1st knotting.
Then main conflict is the government and a big powerful bad guys that has hurt all the guys but only in the last couple chapters is there any fight or conflict other then I want to bang no I don't.
Read 1st and 2nd one in a day. If you want a fast read that's kinda of spicy but not into the whole werewolf thing but into knots this is for you

Genre: Dystopian Omegaverse Series: Book 1 of “Knot That Kind of Girl” Rating: 3.5/5⭐️ Spice: 5/5🌶️ Darkness: 4/5🩶 POV: Multi
Highlights: 🖤Strong Assassin Alphas who are all a bit unhinged 🖤Insta Love due to scent matching 🖤A severely dark Omegaverse where Omegas are owned and bred by the government 🖤Found Family 🖤MMFM and MM- expect a huge variety of sexy time combinations
Thoughts: This was a very hot ride where assassins can’t resist the escaped Omega they were hired to take care of. I really liked the way Violet handled the Mental Health Challenges that the MMCs faced from their lifetime of abuse. After all slightly unhinged Assassins need love too.

3.5⭐️’s Overall a good read but it did have quite a bit of typos and stiff sentence structure. Has a solid plot with good world building, likable characters and some humor. Dove is an escaped omega with 3 assassins on her trail. When the most ruthless of them Sebastian finds her first he can’t kill her. Isaac and Roman join him in not being able to kill her straight away. They decide to bring her back to Roman’s family estate. They realize that there is something about Dove and they each want her. They will have to gain her trust while trying to hide her omega designation, other assassins and from the government. Family drama, greed and revenge are key factors in the end of this story. If typos and editing are done I would give this a solid 4 ⭐️’s.
I feel if this book was edited down to be half its length it could be a really great OV romance. Unfortunately so much of this book is rambling internal dialogue with very little actual dialogue between characters and scenes. Also there is very little character development on the page. In one sentence a character will feel one way and by the literal next sentence he/she will have changed his/her mind without any real reasoning why. I thought the men in the harem were okay as characters but Dove had zero fire or personality.
I would rank this book 1.5/5 on the spicy scale and label it a slow/medium burn.
The bones are there for a great book, if there was a bit more editing done to reel in the story I would definitely give this book another shot.
Dove is in jail since she couldn’t be the perfect omega. One day a guard is harassing her and she snaps and kills him, escaping through the tunnel her previous roommate left she leaves only to be tracked down by assassins. Roman, Sebastian and Isaac are skilled assassins and have never had any trouble bringing down a rogue mark, but Sebastian falters and wants to keep her alive. They each have baggage but I enjoyed watching them help each other to overcome it. It was spicy and fun and I enjoyed the characters. I can’t wait to read more from this author! I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Dove and and her men were hilarious, serious, and adorable. Her men have jobs and that job involved Dove, but they realize there’s more to life than the job they thought they had to do. They realize that everything they need in life is Dove. Dove also realizes that everything she feared about and didn’t want with alphas was what she truly needed. Loved seeing them fall in love and especially loved the names of the knives and the revenge scenes. My only hope for the continuation of this series with different groups is that we learn more about the government and that it’s either abolished or those in power are removed.
I liked this book. It had a raunchy amount of sex scenes. I loved how the guys loved everything about the fmc. It took Sebastian awhile but once he got around to opening his eyes, he could see what he had in front of him. There wasn’t much of a plot. I did feel the plot had so much more potential. The climax of the book didn’t feel as important compared to how it loomed over everyone’s heads. I felt that there was important details that complete a scene or a conversation that were left out. It kinda disconnected me from the book in a lot of places which is the main reason why I rated it 4 stars. Otherwise it was a cute book.
I like this story. I've read quite a few Omegaverse books recently and each one has been very different. This one was dark in how they viewed and treated omegas. So if you don't enjoy Dark romance then this book, series wont be a good read for you. I felt Dove was a strong fmc for her situation. The government in this world was just awful for the way they basically destroyed how omegas were to be viewed and handled. The Alphas have done a ton of terrible things not really caring about the why, so that was a bit disappointing in the beginning. Thankfully when they met Dove things began to change. It was great to see them change because of her, for her.
Omega on the run after saving herself. Alphas that are nothing more than hired guns who don’t bother to ask questions even if they’re slaughtering innocents. Theyre nothing more than lethal government sheep. I couldn’t be bothered to care about the guys. They’re broke, immature, and frankly boring. Dove deserves much better and that’s the saving grace of this book. I felt for her. She is busy fighting for her basic needs and she expects so little out of the life she’s been given, but she doesn’t quit. 3 MMCs: Brooding Psycho, Golden Retriever Psycho, and Controlling Leader Why Choose (with MM) Omegaverse (non-shifting)
What can I say - I love omegaverse books, they just hit different!
This one had its ups and downs but all in all I enjoyed getting to know Dove and the Cobra Pack!
Dove is not your average Omega in my opinion, I think she is strong and knows what she wants - but she’s also a little crazy with her inner monologue. Pack Cobra seemed like a perfect fit for her, especially since they were a scent match.
I did feel like some of the major issues in the book were not complete? Issues with the grandma, issues with the government…
I couldn't put it down. There parts of the book I didn't care for, like the fact that they never turn into wolves or even talk about it. Almost like they are not werewolfs but everything else is the same as a werewolf pack. But there are things I loved about the book. I loved the guys and the rest of the story line for sure. Talking about the guys childhood experiences definitely got me in my feelings a little. Because things like that do happen to children and it is heartbreaking. All together this is still a great book.

I enjoyed reading this book as it had a fresh take on an omega escaping to find the pack thats out to kill her is the one she’s meant to be with… I enjoyed the storyline and seeing what happened in the end. Recommend to anyone looking for a cute story to devour.
I did not give 5 stars only because I felt there was repetition in some of moments/feelings that should have been impactful and there needed a bit more world building.
However! Still a great read if you’re looking for a book to put you in your feels.
