After reading all the glowing reviews on this book, I have to say that I was quite disappointed with it. No doubt I'm probably one of the few who feels this way. I thought this book was supposed to be full of horror, with chills and gory details. I really didn't think so. Quite tame actually. Sure the characters were real-like but that's about it. As for the mystery of who was actually "The Collector", it was easy to figure out.

What irritated me the most was that the chapters were very, very short. Think James Patterson short. Quite the rip-off for any customer who purchases this "trade paperback". Felt more like a short story. There is a sequel to this book which I do not plan to read.

Fast paced novel that keeps the reader guessing and engaged. Definetly a good (must) read!
