While sitting in her graduate school apartment, studying Rock science, Lorelei decided to set aside her notes and try her hand at romance.
At the same time, she used to write articles for a local newspaper under a pseudonym, and this made her wonder if she could write something besides news -- about something she really loved. At the age of 40 she managed to make her dream come true.
She has a great family and 4 sons that she adores. She is extremely proud of them, and so are they. They really admire her work, and support her in every step of her life.Her oldest son, who deeply loves her, says Lorelei’s novels make him travel to a different world.
In her spare time, she loves cooking and volunteering at her local elderly care home. She also adores traveling with her husband. Their dream is to travel all over the world, with Asia being at the top of her “bucket list”.

A very good mystery by Lorelei Brogan! Cecily Thomas lives with her very wealthy and powerful family. She has a twin brother, Conrad. They live on a "compound" that is extremely secure and controlled. Her father makes whiskey and sells it. She is very close to her mother, who is a very sweet loving woman. Ethan Lawson works in the compound and so does his cousin Georgie. Ethan is in love with Cecily, and they are also best friends. When the compound is attacked and Cecily's mother kidnapped, their whole world changes. There are so many twists in this book, don't think you know what is going on or you may be wrong. Very well written and a page turner!

An ill thought out rescue
Cecily and her twin Conrad need to find their Mother who had been abducted. With their friends assistance they manage to survive a very difficult journey to finally solve the mystery of their Father's odd lifestyle. Thankfully it all comes right in the end.

Who are the bad guys?
There are some unexpected surprises, action, and danger in this really cool historical. The story is a bit different and I really liked that plus it is well written with some awesome characters. Georgie, Ethan, Conrad, and Cecily were the cat’s meow!

Lovely read keeps you guessing
Ms Brogan has captured the truest sense of growing into an Adult and learning the difference between true life and values vs flattering words and ways.
The closing has a surprisingly satisfactory ending too.

A great story of action upon action! Adventure seemed to come into the picture every time someone turned! The characters acted alone and together depending on the problems!
