It takes four years of travelling and mutual pining for Harry to realise that Malfoy is the only one for him. Of course, he has to express his feelings in the most scandalous way possible—by stopping Malfoy's very proper, very pureblood wedding.
After having an extremely sexually intense relationship in a year, Harry and Draco don’t understand how they can be together in real life. This leads to them breaking up in quite a dramatic fashion, and Harry wandering the entire world in order to get away from home until you realizes that Drake is getting married. So obviously he needs to stop the wedding in an even more dramatic fashion.
Love a second chance romance! I really enjoyed the writing and I thought that it was engaging and intense. This was a short story, but what I really appreciated is that it didn’t try to crush a whole bunch of sappy romance into it without giving it the time it needed to blossom. They actively acknowledge that a lot of their relationship has been physical and that they have work to do on the emotional level before they can actually be a steady couple. I liked being in Harry’s pining head and his jealousy was so fun to see.
