Good read. Again I am not into all the pain. The story was good lots of violence for sure. Vincenzo doesn’t hold anything back and definitely don’t hurt his family. The Kings are take no prisoners and must be nice to be so rich. Hope we get the sister’s story.

This is the 4th book in the series, but it can be read as a standalone. Vincenzo is a mob boss who takes Acadia as his toy while trying to get some information out of her. What will happen when sparks fly between them? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with plenty of steam and an entertaining story. I liked it.

Wow that story was a wild ride. The hot crime lord and his toy. A freaking hot, dark, romantic, and surprisingly safe story with a HEA in the end. Vincenzo is this hardened criminal that refuses to care for anyone besides his family. Little does he know his whole world will change whilst meeting Acadia. I loved his dark and twisted character and the some kind of broken soul he was. Freaking hot story if you like your stories a bit darker with a bit of BDSM and a tiny bit non con at first😉 (really just tiny🙈). Can't wait for the next story😍😍😍😍

King’s Toy is the fourth installment in Piper Stone’s Merciless Kings series. In it, she focuses on the romantic journey of Acadia “Rebel” Chenault and Vincenzo King. Theirs is a opposites attract romance. Acadia’s life was wrought through hardship, cruelty, and violence. She considers herself trailer park trash, but she has a dream for herself. She believes she wants to be a singer. Destiny brings her into the orbit of Vincenzo King, He is the third of the King brothers, Each are active members of the King Crime family. When they meet sparks fly. Believing Acadia can provide him with information to vanquish his enemies, Vincenzo kidnaps where and makes her his. An old family enemy, Enrico Vendetti, launches a campaign of revenge and soon Acadia becomes a target. Can Vincenzo keep her safe? Will the King brothers figure out who is behind these attacks? Will Acadia accept her feelings for Vincenzo? Will Vincenzo acknowledge is growing love for Acadia? Can they find happiness? You must read this book to find out.
Once again, Ms. Stone pens an intriguing and riveting romantic suspense. Her lead characters are multi-dimensional. Her dialog is outstanding. Ms. Stone masterfully uses descriptive language. The vivid scenes like the one in which Acadia is shot and is recovering and the one in which Vincenzo’s mother faces a threat are nail biging. They allow readers to feel the tension as if they were first-hand witnesses. Nicely done, Ms. Stone.

OMFG I loved this book I have been binging this series of Mafia books by Piper Stone and I think each book is just Terrific and I love each of them so much. I am really fond of Mafia books with Dub-Con and spanking so this series really hits the spot for me. If you like your romance with a tough Mafia guy who takes his woman anyway and every way then this book is for you. Check out the other books in the series if you have not done so already.

Action packed, sexy, fun, engaging and emotional adventure filled with danger, suspense, and undeniable passion... an edge of your seat read from beginning to end and so hard to put down. Really enjoyed the characters I got to know on this journey.

King's Toys is the fourth installment of the Merciless Kings series. It's suspenseful, fast pace, intriguing and full of mystery. Its a older man and younger woman story that will sure to keep you engaged and rivet to your kindle. Vincenzo is the middle child of the King brothers. He's handsome with jet black hair and steel gray eyes. He's impatient, a sadist, playboy, menacing, and merciless. The Los Pirados biker gang in Galveston Texas had recently entered into a business relationship with the King family to move their drugs in that highly pulverized market. Vincenzo got wind that Angel Riviera the gangs former VP had double crossed the family and steal their drugs worth approximately two million in dollars street value. He went to Texas to find out who Angel sold the drugs to and get back his property. However, Angel was uncooperative and the King family does not tolerate nor do they forgives disloyalty. Vincenzo killed Angel then went to Club Havana to find Angel's main squeeze Acadia a.k.a. Rebel who was the lead singer for the band Rebel's Cause. He abducts Acadia from the club because he felt that she may be privy the information that he was looking from being around Angel about the buyer.
Acadia Chenault had a rough upbringing where she was exposed to physical abuse on her mother by an alcoholic abusive stepfather. She had to learn how to be tough for herself and her mom in order to gain enough strength to stop the abuse that she had to witness. Acadia had been on her own at an early age after the death of her mother. Because of this she had to be tough and strong. She created the persona Rebel as her shield, and her mask. But underneath it all that she's a scared young woman. Acadia is defiant, ballsy, challenging, rebellious and beautiful. As Vincenzo punishes Acadia he's at war with his desires of owning, breaking and having sexing with her. Vincenzo hadnt have the time for woman in over year because of the as well as the issues with the Morales Cartel. He was attracted to her the moment he saw her on singing on stage. Acadia have not been successful in the relationship department in past with men trying to get in her pants and Vincenzo is no exception. She loathes and fears him yet desire him at the same time. The polarity was mind boggling.
King's Toy was steamy, vivid and the chemistry was explosive. Vincenzo was dark, cold-blooded and closed off but as the two spends more time with each it was beautiful watch Acadia chipping away at those hard edges to his cold black heart. Vincenzo didn't know that he needed her until she came into his life. Acadia knows that she is not good enough for him and she's way out of her league but she couldn't stop herself from falling for this harsh cruel man. King's Toy was beautifully written, a page turner with many twists and turns and surprises that have the readers on the edge of their seats. It's filled with violence, torture, rivalries, love, vendettas, kidnapping, spanking, punishment, rough sex, secrets, deception, revelations, retaliation, family drama, passion, betrayal, submission, dominance, forgiveness, opportunities, and threats.
Acadia was his toy, a possession, his woman, his light, the breath of fresh air that was missing from his life. He was her dangerous monster, her passionate master, the man that she loved. She was the light to his darkness, the good to his evil and the woman who have shown him the power of compassion and she have captured his heart. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book from the banter of the siblings as well as their disagreements and I can not wait for Dante's story.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!

The Merciless is an amazing series each book reads as a standalone however, why would you read only one when you can read the series. Rebel is sweet (most times), kind to others (most times), strong stands up for herself and she isn’t going to allow you to disrespect her so when Vincenzo shows up to issue out punishment by kidnapping his girlfriend for betraying the family. Vincenzo sexy as all get out boss who had an upbringing that wasn’t so loveable basically demands from demanding parents, so love was something foreign for them. He kidnaps Rebel who happens to be part of the band and she isn’t a biker’s girlfriend, but she is the ex of his enemy also, she intrigued him but what he didn’t expect was strong beautiful fighter who wasn’t going to allow him to mistreat her but she also, knew how to be humble when needed. The chemistry was instant and intense for them sparks of something (passion) is so intense and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored. Vincenzo is deliciously dark, and he protects those close to him but is it enough to keep his Rebel close and will they find happiness?

I Am loving this series of books and the ongoing story of The King family.
The next brother in line to be captivated by a strong sassy woman is Vincenzo King know as the playboy of all his brothers.No woman has ever grabbed his attention enough to want anything more.
That is until he sees Acadia up on stage singing her heart out,she is linked to an MC and a man who betrayed him and his family.
So he takes her to get the answers he needs from her.
But Vincenzo gets more than he expects from Acadia/Rebel she captivates him and he loves showing her all the ways he likes to pleasure and punish her.
Why not have his fun while he gets the answers he needs to take down his enemies....Falling in LOVE was not part of this plan to take her.
Acadia did not have an easy upbringing she is the opposite of Vincenzo were he was used to luxury and priveledge...Acadia struggled to eat,to live she was used to budget and making the most of what she had.
She believed she could never satisfy someone like Vincenzo and he would soon get tired of her,so she must not become attached to this strong,gorgeous,possessive man.
The KING family always has enemies and they are always a target,and being in Vincenzo's world also puts a target on Acadia's head to.Which means she is danger from cruel men and in danger of losing her heart to a man who is just as ruthless.
This story is another action packed,steamy,emotional and sweet read...Yes Sweet because Vincenzo can be kind of sweet at times...The storyline is Fascinating and will keep you enertained throughout.
I Love Piper Stone's attention to detail as she writes her books,they honestly have me completely at their mercy when listening.
I listened to the audiobook of King's Toy,how could I not ,Thomas Lockclear completely and utterly astonishes me with his genius narration.
He is just sensational and I cannot get enough of his voice.
Love him.
Piper Stone has me completely addicted to her words and I look forward to listening to as many of her books as I possibly can.

“King’s Toy” is book 4 in the highly entertaining Merciless Kings series by Piper Stone. Each book focuses primarily on a different member of the King family, who run a complex empire that combines both legal and illegal activities. Theirs is a world of loyalty and treachery, luxury and blood. The books are all interconnected stand-alone stories, so you need not have read any of the others in order to enjoy this one.
Vincenzo is the King family brother at the center of this story. He’s intelligent and capable, but he’s also violent and sadistic. Acadia is the talented lead singer for a mediocre bar band. She grew up very poor, with a cool and violent stepfather. As a result, she’s incredibly tough and resilient. Acadia shields her true heart under the tough stage name and persona of ‘Rebel’. When misunderstanding and distrust land her under his control, sparks of fury and sparks of passion explode in equal measure. Rivalries, partnerships and betrayals abound in this fast-paced story. There’s a big twist towards the end that really took me by surprise. I liked that both of the lead characters are shocked by the depth of the attraction they feel to the other. Although Vincenzo is certainly a ruthless crime boss, from how often the book refers to him as ‘dark’ and ‘sadistic’, I kind of expected him to be much worse than he was. I also enjoyed the efforts he made at the end of the book to show his increased capacity for softer feelings
If you’re familiar with this series you’ll recognize quite a few of the secondary characters. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series, and finding out which of the remaining King siblings will be featured.

I would first like to say that this is the fourth book in the Merciless King series. The author states that this can be read as a stand-alone. In my opinion, the readers would be able to understand the family dynamic more if they had read the series before
The couple in this book is Vincenzo King and Acadia Chenault. A guy met a girl at a bar, but ends up holding her hostage. The romance in that statement. Vincenzo is a part of a mafia family, while Acadia is trying to survive a cruel world. In my opinion, the author brings up a characteristic trait in Vincenzo that could have been divulge more. It was like getting only the frosting of the cupcake.
In this book, the plot revolves around a betrayal to the King family. Through assumptions, Acadia is held for questioning by Vincenzo. The plot thickens when more of the family’s history is revealed. The plot was well written. There weren’t moments that the readers would have been like didn’t I read that already. The book has 17 chapters in it. The book is written through dual point of view, Acadia and Vincenzo.
The “romance” scene was steamy. I will never judge on the amount of romance scenes in a book, but more the quality of the scenes themselves. The author included spankings and bondage. However, the author brought up sadistic traits that weren’t really expressed.
The ending of the book tied the book together and the character’s conflicts were address.
With that being said, I give the book a 4 out of 5.

It is intense, emotional, captivating and will keep you on the edge of your seat till the end.
Vincenzo King has been double crossed and someone must pay. His family is part legitimate businesses and illegal being mafia. Their reputation calls for swift action and what better way than to take a girlfriend of the one who stole from them. He has dark, devious, wickedly sinister and sadistic things he plans to do to his new toy.
Rebel-Acadia Chenault has grown up poor in an unsafe abusive environment. She finally broke away and is in a band even though it's not where she wants to be it was better than where she was. Unfortunately that didn't last long she is taken away and held captive for things she didn't do. She is resilient, feisty, brave and doesn't back down even to Vincenzo knowing what he is capable of doing. He is brutal yet she is drawn to him. She wants to hate him but her body tell a different story. He tries to show no emotions but she sees beyond his walls. The more time they spend together the more their hearts begin to thaw. When her life is in danger all bets are off she is no longer just his possession his toy but so much more. Their story is riveting with danger,suspense, secrets, death, twist, turns, passion and love. Can they survive every life has thrown their way or will they walk away?
I can't wait to see what other King family member will be next.

What a fast pace book a brilliant read
Vincenzo King is out for blood. He doesn’t like being double crossed and he’s going after Angel. When he learns that Angel has a girlfriend he knows that she will be the Fountain of knowledge. But when he sees Rebel perform on stage he knows that she is going to be his next pet. Until he gets bored of her or until he gets the information he needs. You see in his business you never show weakness. Vincenzo is one arrogant man, he takes what he wants and he doesn’t care what anybody says
When Vincenzo Confronts Rebel he explains what he needs from her but she says she knows nothing that she is not Angel’s girlfriend But Vincenzo doesn’t believes her. She is one Sassy woman! He explains that if she lies to him again she will be punished and that’s exactly what happens. Rebel wants to hate this man But her body is reacting in such a way that all he has got to do is look at her and she burns up. But she’s just there as his pet. Is there a future for them to be together??
I really didn’t like Vincenzo at the beginning of this book, He is arrogant he is violent he is evil but when he meets rebel everything changes he tries his hardest to pretend it hasn’t but who is he falling this book has got so many twists and turns but it is one fantastic read. Piper Stone you have done it again.

I really didn’t like Vincenzo at the beginning of this book, He is arrogant he is violent he is evil but when he meets rebel everything changes he tries his hardest to pretend it hasn’t but who is he falling this book has got so many twists and turns but it is one fantastic read. Piper Stone you have done it again.

Vincenzo King and Acadia Chenault aka Rebel’s story in the Merciless Kings Series Book four. Vincenzo is a merciless leader with a brutal savage attitude which normally has a take no hostages motto and one of the violent leaders of one of the branches of the family businesses in New Orleans and Texas and as with all the men of the King family Vincenzo is very vengeful, angry, and a violent man. Rebel ends up in Vincenzo’s custody and totally at his mercy because he totally believes she knows more than she is telling him and he is determined to get her to talk, all the while as each of them try’s to figure out who can be trusted and who is an enemy. Nonstop action with the dealings of cartels, abductions, danger, threats, attacks, violence, brutality, suspense, deceit, betrayal, suspicions, trust issues, defiance, discipline, spankings, conflict, accusations, steamy steamy scenes.
An absolute page turner. You are not going to want to put this down until you get to the end. One of my favorite authors. I’m looking forward to the next story in this series. Ms. Stone once again has delivered a story that was emotionally complex
and with a vivid plot that was dark, riveting, brutal, raw, with elements of
non-consensual sex. This book made my heart race from the beginning as
it sunk its claws into me. I hung on tight for the ride into a shadowy
criminal underworld that was the King family.
Vincenzo King was out for revenge, and Acadia was his target. He was the
hunter, and she was his prey. He would make her pay. He filled her world
with pleasure and pain.
Acadia had been used by men all her life, and Vincenzo was no different.
Despite protesting, he did not believe that she was innocent. Fear and
desire were at war with each other. She hungered for him while hating him.
The dichotomy was overwhelming.
This story was electric. Vincenzo was a harsh man with many layers, and it
was interesting when he started to show the vulnerability he hid for so long.
Acadia was strong, feisty, and never once gave up on herself or Vincenzo.In
the end, Vincenzo was determined to have the one woman who touched his
soul and filled him with hope.

King's Toy is the fourth book in the Merciless Kings series and is the story of Vincenzo King and Acadia "Rebel" Riviera. All I can say is that the King brothers have the exact same tastes when it comes to how they deal with the women in their lives.....over their knee, a good red bottom and then .... well you know what. This story starts out with a bang and then keeps the energetic pace with a lot of twists throughout until the end. There are gangs, missing drugs, the King Mafia family, action, excitement, consequences and lessons learned, a battle of the wills and some scorching hot and sexy passion.
If you have read a book by Piper Fox before then you know what to expect between the main characters and this one delivers fully on that promise. But there is more here also as the story-line is engaging and pulls you in. I really enjoyed this book and am loving the King family. They may not be men I would want to meet but they do make for a great reading experience.

I imagine this book could be read as a standalone, but I think the background information from the previous books would only serve to enhance the story.
It actually took a while for me to warm up to Vincenzo and Arcadia as a couple. I just didn't feel like they had any connection. When Vincenzo was described as cold and aloof, I could see how well written his character was in this book. That is exactly the vibe I picked up from him.
Arcadia (Rebel) didn't seem to have much of a personality either way. She actually grew on me as the book moved forward. I think when the chemistry between the two finally stuck for me was when she made dinner for them and Vincenzo's soldiers.
The family dynamic is interesting as always. I thought the issue with his mother was a surprising twist, unless I overlooked it in an earlier book. . I cannot imagine the trouble for the King family is over, even if Vincenzo and Arcadia achieved their HEA.

Once again, Piper Stone has drawn me into her story. This is the story of Rebel (Acadia) and Vincenzo. Vincenzo is dangerous, sadistic, violent and out for revenge. Rebel is the target of Vincenzo getting what he wants. She is feisty, strong, and tough. Rebel had a very tough childhood growing up and has been used by men all her life. Vincenzo plans on using Rebel to get the information he needs so he can protect his family. However, when these two meet, Vincenzo begins to feel things he vowed never to feel after losing his baby sister. Rebel is a fighter and gives Vincenzo a run for his money – and this turns him on more than he expected

Vicenzo takes the singer known as Rebel as he believes she knows about a double cross by a biker Angel and his prez Pedro, who it turns out is her step brother. Acadia aka Rebel fights and defies Vicenzo who promptly turns her over and spanks her. Acadia feels disgust not just at him but also herself at being turned on. Vicenzo has never felt drawn to any woman before but this sassy, defiant, beautiful woman starts to get under his armour. After a while Acadia admits to herself that she loves this man, but it's only after she's inadvertently shot with a bullet meant for him that Vicenzo admits that he loves her.

This book brings us Vincenzo King and Acadia Chenault (aka Rebel) Vincenzo has had something valuable stolen from his "family" and he needs to find out who is betraying him. This is where Rebel comes in. Vincenzo believes that Acadia has information regarding a man that she went out with who belongs to an MC group called Los Pirados. However, she doesn't really know anything, but he decides that she will become his "toy." I enjoyed the fact that Acadia was as strong as she was. She had a horrible childhood and still came out with the knowledge that she wasn't going to be pushed around by men any more. I loved when she served Vincenzo a hamburger and fries. It was also nice to see the change occurring in Vincenzo as he comes to realize how important Acadia is to him. This was a great read and I highly recommend it. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

King's Toy, the fourth book in the Merciless Kings, is one scorching HOT listen. WOW!! The Kings are a force and always get what they want. Vincenzo, a mob boss, takes Acadia as a toy, and he will do what he wants with her to extract information. The storyline is brilliantly written, well-plotted and dark, wrapped in suspense, heat, sensuality, passion, and drama. The connection between Vincenzo and Acadia is intense, fiery, and charged with electrifying chemistry.
Another stellar performance by Thomas Locklear. He portrays the characters' personalities, emotions, and chemistry flawlessly. He made the story more engaging and enjoyable. King's Toy is a terrific addition to the Merciless Kings series; it's wonderfully written with outstanding narration and one I'm fully recommending.

Wow again the incredible force that is the writing skills of Piper Stone combined with the narration of Thomas Locklear left me in awe.
Fantastic storyline with feisty characters. Acadia is like the strong women Piper writes to match the alpha men in her books. Vincenzo needed a woman such as Rebel to hold his interest and to make him realize that he needed her in his life. Smouldering sensuality between these two and lots of twists and turns in the mafia family interactions to hold my attention from start to finish.
Thomas is of course brilliant in his acting. I will always love his sexy woman’s voice and his raspy masculine men that he brings to life in his performances.

I love this series and this is every bit as good if not better than the first three. It helps to have read the first three but not essential as most of it is explained. Vincenzo and Acadia are so hot together and the scene when they go to the club and whenAcadia first goes to the Master bedroom are so hot my kindle sizzled. The intrigue and mystery were a great balance to the sex and have you guessing until the end. Vincenzo’s mother was a real surprise and the heroine of the story, but everyone played a role. It was great to see Angelique again even if she is not happy with her family right now, I am looking forward to her story. This was a great book and one I highly recommend.

Vincenzo is the coldest/darkest brother in the family so when he takes Acadia/Rebel as his prisoner from a biker gang to use as his new toy…
But Acadia is full of surprises coming from an abusive background, she keeps Vincenzo off kilter but the chemistry between these two is sizzling…
With a mysterious and elusive enemy evading the family and the twists I wasn’t expecting definatly made this my favourite read in the series…

Piper Stone never leaves you hanging in any of her stories. It's always fast paced with plenty of biker gangs, past relationship with the mafia, and strong characters, spankings and hot steam. Vincenzo thinks that Rebel has the answers that he wants. His characters is dark, brutal, and sadistic. Rebel (Arcadia) is beautiful, and a firecracker who isn't a pushover, doesn't allowed anyone to disrespect her, she fights back no matter the consequences. Vincenzo is so hot, dark and delicious I didn't want to stop reading. He is masterful in his awareness of the fine line separating pleasure and pain and how to blend them perfectly.
A handful of pages in I was already hooked on Vincenzo King. The way Acadia freaks coz he is a killer made me laugh, considering the bikers she was with were also killers. I loved the way her body submitted to Vincenzo despite her minds futile denial. Her body knew its Master before her heart did.

I am enamored with this author, she is a remarkable writer enveloping us within her universe and only releasing us when she sees fit and the characters have told their stories! WOW!
