A truly extraordinary work tracing the history of animation from its beginnings all the way to the end of the Golden Age in the early 1950s. This book, while a bit dry at times (and having some occasional minor grammar and syntax issues that likely come from being translated from Italian), is something all serious animation fans, and anyone interested in the history of animation, should have on their shelves. I can't wait to read Volume II!

Very interesting content but the execution was kind of dry. I wanted more from the Walt Disney chapters.
