4.5 Star Review Bryce by Alex Wolf
This is Bryce Sears and Brenna Smith's book and though not particularly long Alex Wolf wove a story that had me quickly invested .
The attraction between Bryce and Brenna sizzles as these two move from frenemies to lovers. From the moment they meet, the sparks fly and although she frustrates him at every turn he cannot help but be in awe of her beauty and brains.
Brenna is one of those woman that you easily admire. She is kind and caring and brilliant and not at all afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She certainly gave Bryce a run for his money which I found entertaining and I enjoyed the push and pull as their relationship progressed.

Oh Alex... what have you gone and done? Just when I think you can't possibly get me to love your books more, you go and annihilate that thought from my mind and create even more characters for me to fall in LOVE with.
Bryce is a enemies to lovers romance that is addictive and unexpectedly off the charts spicy.
What I thought was going to be a Slow-Burn Romance which would be of pace for Alex Wolf. Turned into a hotter than a thousand sun's spicy and face faning steamy romance. I'm talking 5 on the Spicy meter 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 🥵
Bryce Sears is the typical take no prisoners, arrogant, cocky and confident Alpha male attorney. Who will stop at nothing to win. He's the handsome and arrogant man that knows his appeal to clients and women. He's on a mission to push all the right buttons and pull all thr right levers to get his clients and his Firm the best end result. Nothing else matters and nothing else will do for him than winning and being the best.
Brenna Smith is a feisty, hard-headed, brilliant and breathtakingly beautiful scientist and professor. She's truly a person who thinks and sees the world in zeros and one's. She's set out to help the people of the world in any way she can. She's hard working and passionate about her work. So when a old partner stole her idea and design and is determined to make a mountain of money off of it and not in the lest bit concerned if it's completely safe. She's going to find a way to shut it down and save lives. Beimg distracted is NOT an option.
Bryce and Brenna come out both swinging. They butt heads, have heated exchanges and battles of witts and its exhilarating to read every moment between them. It's also impossible to miss the chemistry they have for each other.
It's a bad idea, never mixed feelings with business. Never cross the line. That's what they both keep telling each other and the struggle is evident. Bryce can't stop thinking about Brenna and She can seem to get her brilliant brain to function in the high capacity it normally does when he's around.
Their feelings are considered inappropriate, you can't be involved with the person trying to destroy everything you've worked for. How can you convince your heart though?
Lines are blurred, emotions run high and just when you think is a Slow-Burn Romance that's going to be sweet and emotional... BAM!! Alex Wolf hits us with a level of spice that will give you insane sweats and have you fanning your face. You'll never look at cheesecake the same way again I guarantee!
Bryce earned a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me because I have absolutely felt all the emotions the characters were feeling. Alex has once again pulled me into his world and it felt as though I was living the characters lives.

Alex loves to tease his readers with his sexy alpha men and the strong women who can bring them to their knees, and he's succeeded with Bryce and Brenna.
Bryce is a confident, cocky, hardworking attorney who will do anything to ensure a win for his clients. His current client believes that they have something that will change the medical world, however everything is not as it seems. Brenna is an intelligent, sassy, feisty and brilliant scientist. She's discovered a colleague has stolen her work, and to put it nicely ... hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!!
From the moment Bryce and Brenna meet there is an instant animosity, they both fight hard for what they want, challenging each other constantly. While at loggerheads with one another sparks begin to ignite and their chemistry heats up, can they keep their relationship purely professional, or will the pull between them be too strong to resist? There are a few twists and turns, some heartbreak, and some really hot schmexyness, all making this and unputdownable read.
No matter what book I have read from Alex, I have always been entertained, and BRYCE was the same. Can't wait to see who Alex comes up with next.

Brenna is livid! The guy who she looked at as a lab assistant Jim, stole her research and has beaten her to file for a patent. When his lawyer, Bryce Sears holds a press conference to announce the product and patent, Brenna is there and tells everyone that it’s stolen. Brenna is brilliant, beautiful, and doesn’t hold back on saying what’s on her mind. She is also completely attracted to Bryce who short circuits her common sense anytime he is close. Bryce can’t get Brenna out of his head from the moment he sees her and even if it’s career suicide to be with her he can’t stay away. Bryce owns a law firm with his twin brothers. They have two clients they wish they didn’t one is Jim who Bryce is more sure of everyday stole Brenna’s work and the other is a mob guy who they are trying their best to get away from. Bryce and Brenna are oil and water one minute and the next they are like Velcro. The heat is off the charts but between their opposite sides of the lawsuit and the tempers they both have getting to their hea is Rocky. There is a quick nod to the original Cocky Suits series near the end with name drops so I’m looking forward to more from the Sears brothers because like the rest of the books before this, the characters are awesome and each story comes with a touch of danger, a lot of heat and a few laughs with women who know how to stand up to the cocky men around them!

Holy cow! Bryce was one of Alex Wolf's hottest books to date. This enemies to lovers romance drew me in from the very start.
Bryce Sears is an arrogant, cocky attorney who will do anything to win for his clients. He's not only popular with his clients, but also with the ladies. He'll do whatever he has to in order to win and bring the best results for his firm where he works with his brothers.
Brenna Smith is a smart, beautiful, feisty and accomplished scientist and professor. She has started her own company and her goal is to help as many people as she possibly can with an idea that she developed. When she learns a former colleague stole her idea and is looking to patent it, she goes after what is rightfully hers.
Brenna and Bryce are at each other from the get go. Both of them are fiery and they challenge each other as they both fight for their cause. It's difficult to miss the chemistry they share whenever they are together. Both of them try to deny the sparks that are flying between them to keep business and pleasure separate, but it becomes futile and they give in. Even though they are butting heads in the workplace, will the heart end up getting what it wants or will both of them end up hurt?
Alex Wolf penned an emotional, hot and chemistry-filled story that made you feel all the feels as you read along. I really enjoyed this story and highly recommend picking it up!

Brenna Smith is a strong, feisty, smart, woman and is a scientist who is methodical in her thinking to solve her problems. Brenna gave me a chuckle because of her sailors mouth and the strong personality that she has. She will fight for and very much cares for her company and the people who work for her. Brenna learns that the ideas for her medical device has been stolen by a research assistant who worked with her in the past and has hired a patent lawyer. Bryce Sears is an IP lawyer and has taken on the client who claims to have engineered the medical device and has completed the paperwork for the patent office to approve. Even though Brenna and Bryce clash about who is the true patent owner, Bryce feels something for Brenna. Their hot volatile relationship is off the charts even though they are each gambling with each of their careers. Not to sound like a stalker, but I would so like to be a fly on the wall as author Alex Wolf writes his POV in this book. He writes so well the sarcasm of these two characters whether they are talking or yelling at each other, but above all they learn that they love each other. I hope to see Brenna and Bryce in the background of one of Alex Wolf's future books, maybe about Bryce's twin brothers-Lucas or Parker? I know that I keep saying that this is my favorite book, but each new book has a set of characters that come to life on the pages that have been written. Well done Alex! Enjoy readers!

They take a wide variety of clients and Bryce's latest one is for a patent application for a medical device from a man named Jim Sullivan and his company SulliCorp. It a relatively easy process until it's contested by Doctor Brenna Smith and her company for being stolen technology.
To say they started off on the wrong foot is an understatement. She goes head to head with Bryce and gives him a run for his money. You can help but be drawn to Brenna with her quick witt, brains and beauty. She is kindhearted but not afraid to speak/stand up for herself no matter the consequences. Even though they are enemies you can feel something brewing just under the surface. There are twists, turns, heartbreak and misunderstandings as they progress from enemies to lovers and so much more.
If you don't want to miss another fantastic book by Alex Wolf don't hesitate to grab it. It goes live on July 29, 2022.

Bryce Sears and Brenna Smith have been adversaries from the beginning. She sees his confidence and drive as ignorance and arrogance. He sees her stubbornness and fortitude as a nuisance and lack of insight. But they can’t stop their thoughts of each other.
Bryce is counsel for a business that is looking to challenge the medical field. It’s about to be be finalized. Except Brenna announces the shortcomings of the situation. She’s fighting fir her life and career. And Bryce believes her. He sees her determination and honesty. She’s still wary of his intent. But their connection and history is more than either can handle.
He absolutely wants more of Brenna. But they’re fighting more than each other. Her past and his current client list have diverted everything. Winning may not be everything.
I liked Brenna’s grit and determination. And Bryce had no intention of letting go of his greatest case…he would be victorious. Loved how Bryce was motivated for Brenna. Highly recommend this story.

I'm sure how I feel about these two. I mean he was pushing, and she pushed back even more. When (in my opinion) she pushed too far, he ended up apologizing which didn't sit well with me.
These two were like cat and mouse. Bryce kept circling around her even when she was putting him in his place. He was more likeable to me, despite his foul mouth, a-hole tendencies and alpha personality. I loved him for doing everything in his power to keep her and her company safe.
The only thing working for Brenna in my opinion is the fact that she was developing groundbreaking devices for people with type 1 diabetes. As a type 1 I can appreciate her for it. But the way she handled their relationship when she was threatened? That was not OK. He kept proving how much she means to him and to have it thrown back to him so easy…it hurt! And I’ll probably be in the minority but I think she should have crawled back to him and not the other way around.
Overall this book has all the things I came to expect from Alex Wolf, which are slow burn where hot chemistry leaps off the pages, funny banter and HEA for our couple with the help of family and friends.

Alex has once again given us the readers a fabulous enemy to lovers read that grabs you and pulls you in from the first chapter!
Byrce Sears is a patent attorney, and he is more than good at his job. When he is blindsided at a press release for a client by a feisty intelligent female doctor and he gets his feels like he just got his butt handed to him he needs to track her down.
Brenna Smith is a talented scientist and professor that has been scorned and had the rug pulled out from under her. A project that she has worked on for years has just hit the patent office. Her work is now being claimed by another and this big shot attorney is trying to push it through! He is arrogant, mouthy loves to argue and sex on a stick! If he would only keep his smart mouth shut and listen!
A chance meeting on the street and then a show down at the press release is where this battle is about to begin. This couple has such explosive chemistry. It is now time for Bryce to really take a look at the facts and see if he is blinded by love/lust or is Brenna the rightful owner of the research!

I'll round up from 3.5 to 4 stars.....maybe give it a bit of a 3.65 stars.
i loved that her occupation was one that you don't see often. Shes a electrical engineer who is working on finding an artificial pancreas for diabetes patients and hes the lawyer for the guy who stole her idea! And she teaches at MIT.
Bryce is a little bit of a wonky character because hes seen as such a manh0 in the beginning, staring kind of creepily at women out on the city streets and only taking in their looks. hes very arrogant and thinks very VERY highly of himself. So there wasn't much to love in the beginning. She was a bit of a shrew in the beginning and was kinda bitchy when he accidently runs into her. Her attitude was so off putting.
thankfully, the tone of the book changed but yeah......that wasn't a fun beginning. I liked the insta l*st in the beginning and the bit of taboo of the opposing counsel lawyer going after the girl on the other team.
i didn't dnf *shrug*. good grovel too at the end when he says some meanie words at her and she caves in quickly since she LOVES him bah!

I LOVE Bryce! Bryce is one of the best IP lawyers, and he knows it. Nothing ever gets in the way of what his clients want, that is until he meets Brenna. Another Steamy Sexy Hit!!!
I am a sucker for an AW story. His men pack a punch with their sexy masculine personalities. Add in that they have the best dirty mouths, major possessive bf vibes, and go all in when they find their woman… its a recipe for a hot steamy read with a fantastic HEA.
Bryce is no different. I laughed, I cried and I swooned…HARD!
I had to fan my face at the sexual tension and chemistry between Brenna and Bryce. I loved that Brenna tried to fight her feelings, but Bryce had her number from the start. That garage scene, phew HOT HOT HOT!
I devoured this story from beginning to end in one sitting. Grabbed me from the start with the push pull, banter and tension.

I enjoyed aspects of this read such as the back and forth banter between two strong characters on either side of a legal battle, the portrayal of a strong woman working in a scientific field and the writing style which is fast paced and easy to read. The enemies to lovers vibe sets the tone for some cracking chemistry, which is pretty much guaranteed in an Alex Wolf read! I didn’t quite connect with the characters as much as usual for some reason - I found them a little polarising and although I could definitely buy the lust aspect, the falling head over heels when Brenna was going back and forth so much didn’t quite jibe right for me. However overall it is an enjoyable read - the relationships between the brothers is fun too.

Another great Alex Wolf book
I have read all of Alex Wolf’s books and he never disappoints me. In BRYCE, he does his smirking, arrogant playboy type so well. This time his guys are Intellectual Property lawyers in Boston. His girl, Brenna, is a scientist with a new invention to patent.
BRYCE has to be one of the steamiest Wolf books I have read. But more importantly, the scenes are not just steamy, they are passionate and sensual. The reader can really feel the intense connection between the characters.
Brenna and Bryce exchange witty banter, his twin brothers still have their adolescent moments and despite all three being successful attorneys, they still listen to their mother.
If you love an intense, irreverent and possessive MC, you need to read BRYCE.

Hot, heavy, and oh so steamy!!
Bryce and Brenna are both beyond stubborn. Both trying to get one up on the other. Their banter is through the roof. It makes me laugh so much my cheeks hurt. Brenna is trying hard to keep her company and the patent she created. Bryce is the attorney for the guy who's saying the patent is his. He also can't get Brenna out of his mind. He's cocky guybwho goes after what he wants. And he wants Brenna. Watch out when these two finally give in to each other. Talk about hot and heavy. WOWZA!! I 💜 Bryce!
I'm furious! Once again, I read a book where the girl messes up, but the guy begs for forgiveness...getting no apology in return. Brenna was wrong. She accused him of horrible things. Blaming him for everything. She lost her tech long before she met him. She would be fighting for the patent whether she met him or not. She was lucky to meet him, just as much as he was lucky to meet her. She got her patent because of him. I'm so fired up! Alex has a way of doing that. Dragging you in completely, to the point where you're reeling with emotions. I'm never disappointed. I always get so invested. I love it!

This enemies to lovers was extremely well written.
Bryce and Breanna had an instant attraction and their chemistry was off the charts. But unfortunately I didn’t connect with the characters.
I loved that Breanna was not only beautiful... but smart. But I found her to be quite annoying with her I don’t want to go but she went anyways.
Bryce was your typical alpha ale but I just didn’t connect.
Don’t get me wrong... most people will find this an amazing read... I just fell short on connection.

Bryce is a fabulous read. I loved Bryce so much. His cocky self meets his match when it comes to Brenna. You can feel the chemistry sizzle from the very start. Bryce is put in several tough situations, and you feel for him with what he has to face. Brenna is so smart, and I love how she challenges Bryce so much. This is such a fun read. Bryce and Brenna just sizzle on the pages together. You are just going to love this enemy to lovers so much. This right here is the reason why I always one-click an Alex Wolf book. You need to meet Bryce and Brenna now.

Bryce and Brenna are enemies to lovers, its a page turner and gives the reader just enough tease to continue wanting more and not realizing the book is over when you reach the end. Bryce is a true alpha male and meets his match with Brenna, a strong, doesn't put up with nobody and knows exactly what she wants. Both of them together are off the charts. Alex Wolf has done it again with some more great characters and a great enemies-to-lovers story. This was the story of Brenna, the scientist, and Bryce the attorney. Of course they had a strange first meet and Brenna knew that Bryce was working with her enemy, the man who was trying to steal her patent. This book is hot of course, and I love the relationship between Brenna and Bryce. And, of course, this also made me laugh a few times and that is always great if a book can do that. I hope maybe we get some more out of this book, like maybe some books on Bryce’s brothers or Brenna’s sister?

If you love and enemies to lovers story, check out Bryce! He and Brenna literally run into each other and the sparks fly, but not in a good way. Their feisty banter is quite heated and entertaining and you could feel the tension building between them. The problem is they are on opposite sides of a legal issue but their spirited conversations seems to light a fire for both of them as they cross a few lines and let their passion fly!

Brenna and Bryce absolutely blow the pages up! He’s a hot shot lawyer, she’s an electrical engineer, and they’re on opposite sides—for some things. Add in siblings for colleagues, some corporate espionage and a shady mobster and you have a cast of characters to take you on a wild and passionate ride. It’s a fast-paced enemies to lovers story, with the author’s trademark snarky banter between the brothers. Fun read.
