Faking It

Rate this book
Just when you think you can move on from the past…..
It comes back.
Tel Norton is an old-fashioned London police officer, and he works alone for a reason.
Having an early criminal past before joining the force, he also does not always stick to the rules of policing when he wants justice. Unfortunately, it is just these renegade tactics that get him increasingly in trouble with the Met until, after creating a particularly negative media storm, they send him abroad on a strictly hands-off surveillance mission.
With a new partner.
Sashenka Volarowski grew up in Russia during the war with Afghanistan, and following a military career in various territories, joined MI6, which brought her to taking on this more low-key job in Spain, tracking the activities of a British ex-convict suspected of continuing his work under the radar.
Outside of UK police authority, all they can do is observe and report back, staying completely incognito throughout. As a fake married couple.
While this horrifies both of them, the work itself should be a holiday compared to what they are used to.
But time reveals there is far more to this than anyone had imagined.
Can Tel and Sashenka carry off their new identities and work together?
All Tel needs to do is stay out of trouble….
