It’s the vampire wedding of the century… and maybe the end of an empire.

The upper echelons of immortal society have gathered in New Orleans, all of them curious to witness the joining of Gavin Wallace, the immortal business mogul, to the human woman who captured his heart. But behind the facade of immortal revelry, New Orleans is a city teeming with old rivalries, political maneuvering, and twisted secrets.

Invited to the marriage ceremony of their two old friends, Carwyn ap Bryn and Brigid Connor venture south, ready to relax in the company of Marie-Hélène Charmont, the vampire queen of the Delta, and four hundred of her esteemed immortal guests.

But when Gavin asks Brigid and Carwyn to look into a mysterious man stalking his human employees, they’re unprepared for the tangled web of deception they uncover. Tug on the wrong string and centuries-old alliances might fall apart.

In a tenuously balanced society full of apex predators, even one slip can prove disastrous.

He was wearing light colored pants and a shirt with a bright green ikat print he’d found at a night market earlier in the week. If there was one thing her husband loved about New Orleans, it was the bright fashions everyone wore.
Brigid walked over and straddled one of his thighs, pleased to see his eyes light up.
“Wife.”
She handed him the glass of blood-wine. “Husband.”
His eyes drifted to the deep V of her shirt. “You look quite ravishing tonight. Can we do that later?”
“Ravishing?” She sipped her wine. “I’d be disappointed if we didn’t.”

Welcome, welcome gather round! I have an announcement to make.

It’s the vampire wedding of the century

The upper echelons of immortal society have gathered in New Orleans to witness the joining of the immortal Gavin Wallace to his human mate Chloe Reardon. Everyone is curious and dying to attend.

Everything I wanted and more!

It has been known a time or two that I can be a picky reader and well EH has felt it once in a while but here I can only say it is like coming home. Hanging out with the gang. Now I know everyone keeps on raving about Benzin and yes they are in the book but I want to concentrate on another of my fav couples. What for it, drum roll please.

Brigid & Carwyn.

I have a huge soft spot for Brigid and Carwyn Here my soft spot has once again increased so much they are one of my all-time favourite couples. They just mesh. They complement one another. Although Brigid never wanted this life her husband, her mate makes it worthwhile.

The mystery of their union still bent his mind, even after a decade together.

Now the plot of the story is as follows but before hand you do have to read The Dancer & The Dark as I assumed correctly and it is stepping stone. It leads to the business venture of Gavin and Marie Helené starting a communications company to rival Nocht and Patrick Murphy. Only things start to go wrong and as Gavin needs to be seen as being impartial he asks Brigid and Carwyn to look into it.

Which they agree to while they also have parties to attend to for the three week wedding. Yes a three week wedding darlings. Once again I have been pulled into the wonderful world of the elemental vampires and we experience the vampire society in NOLA as this is why this book takes place. NOLA is a crazy place to be. This world never gets boring. It has so many great elements that make it a truly fantastic series. I mean Lee Whitehorn as a native also have vampires. There is a story I would love to sink my teeth into. I’ll stop with the puns.

All characters have their own voice and we see Brigid struggling with some things that hopefully shall be clarified in the upcoming book. EH is smooth it flows and it flows well just like the story. She has new ideas and this really was with all what is taking place with Paladin.

I truly recommend this series.

One of the most important questions for me is will Chloe stay human? I really do hope so.

P.S. I called that one twist completely but not the others.

What a delicious treat it is to have the gang all back together within these pages. First off, one of my favorite settings a book can have is NOLA! The future of Brigid and Carwyn’s ever evolving story just keeps getting better and better. I can’t help but feel that when Brigid finally decides what road to take, though a powerhouse already, she will be an epic immortal to watch. I do hope to continue to see her again and again as she grows in her immortality, especially with her hilarious bada$$ of a husband by her side.

If anyone loves Gavin (and who really doesn’t?!) they will love seeing him in this book. I have cherished seeing the love story bloom between Chloe and Gavin. I am so excited for them to be married and see what that all brings! Consider this my formal request Ms.Hunter, for a double fanging for Chloe and Arthur. Arthur’s future human demise would be a devastating loss for humankind! We can’t loose him to death even if it’s old age!

Also, Tenzin is Tenzin in this book. Enough said to convince you right there to read it! Getting snap shots of where Benzin is on their journey together is always priceless!

Ok, back to the story…I found it all intriguing as all things tech and cyber security etc. played a big role. There were also SO many “who dunnit?” moments for me, I had my suspicions but was certainly thrown many a curveball as well as a few “NO WAY!” moments at the end. Brigid and Carwyn are such a great team, if I was a new sparky vamp I could only hope to have someone as gentle and loving as Carwyn to guide me through it all, all while encouraging me to become the best version of myself that I didn’t even know existed. Another home run for this author and her epic Elemental universe she’s created.

What is there not to love about this about this novel? Anytime you have Brigid and Carwyn together… it’s laughs, trouble, and adventure! Add in a massive wedding, our favorite immortals, and lucrative business deals, and there is no end to the intrigue! I absolutely love this series.

The Elemental World created by Elizabeth Hunter is definitely one of my favorite ficcional worlds visit and with each series and books set in it, I collect more and more beloved characters and couples to root for.

Paladin’s Kiss is the third installment of the new Elemental Covenant series that follows fan-favorite couple, Carwyn and Brigid. I love that Hunter has given us the treat of getting to watch this lovely be couple be awesome, but what I really enjoyed was getting to read them working with a few other couples and characters that had already stolen my heart.

I devoured Paladin’s Kiss in a few hours and couldn’t put it down at all. It’s a fast-paced romp full of intrigue, mystery, action and romance. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, give the Elemental Covenant series a shot. However, I would also recommend any series or books in the Elemental World. You can enjoy this series without reading the others, but they are so amazing, that you shouldn’t.

I was given the opportunity to read an early copy of this book by Elizabeth’s team and given carte blanche to express my opinion :)

Brigid and Carwyn are a hoot

This diverting paranormal mystery whodunnit was over way too quickly. It is the third story featuring Brigid and Carwyn, a dynamic vampire sleuth couple. Brigid used to be head of security for Murphy, the vampire in charge of Ireland. But with Murphy well in control of his organisation and the vampire population, Brigid felt progressively underchallenged in her job. So then she decided to strike out on her own, and now together with her vampire mate Carwyn, they travel the world and take on cases that straddle the boundary between the normal and paranormal world.

They were invited to the vampire wedding of the century between Gavin Wallace and Chloe Reardon anyway, so when Gavin asks for their help, they agree. Together with Marie-Hélène Charmont, the “queen” of New Orleans, Gavin is trying to develop a new communications system for vampires as he does not really trust the data safety of Nocht, the system that was developed by Murphy and is currently used by all vampires, as it is the only one on the market that works with their unique needs. One of Gavin’s human developers has quit his job unexpectedly and is not reacting to calls and it seems that some of the other critical tech personnel have been followed for some time. With all the vampires flooding in for the social event of the season, there is no dearth of possible suspects, but with having to put in appearances at parties and receptions and trying to not tip anyone off about what they are doing, Brigid and Carwyn’s investigation is kind of stalling…

This story didn’t quite turn out as I expected. Going in I knew of course (since it is part of the Elemental Covenant spin-off series) that it was going to be centred on Brigid and Carwyn, but I would have liked to see a bit more interaction between Gavin and Chloe (as it was their wedding), but their relationship was rather peripheral. But I really loved seeing some of the other characters from past books like Giovanni and Beatrice and especially Ben and Tenzin. Tenzin seems to have mellowed a bit, but she also seems to have developed a depth perception problem in her old age which leads to some hilarity.

I also loved the dynamic between Brigid and Carwyn and how they balance each other out: she is the volatile fire-cracker and Carwyn is the laid-back social animal. He enjoys going to parties and being sociable, whereas Brigid takes every opportunity to wiggle out of going to large gatherings of people by using work as an excuse. Usually it’s Brigid who takes the initiative in their investigations and Carwyn is there to support her and he always has her back. I find it refreshing how the gender roles are kind of reversed, and how Carwyn, even with his easy-going nature still manages to be very manly and sexy. If only I didn’t get the feeling that it takes a man over a thousand years to get to that point 😉. As a (mostly) romance reader I am a bit surprised at myself how much I enjoy these paranormal mysteries with a couple that is secure in their relationship with each other and where all the conflict comes from their investigative work. Although that is not to say there are not some hot scenes for die-hard romance fans like myself. Eagerly looking forward to the next instalment and finding out how Brigid and Carwyn will cope with the digital advancements that seems to have left them somewhat behind…

Carwyn and Brigid as always were a blast to spend time with. The hijinx, the mystery. the not so "oopsie" moments,
the absolute adoration and love this couple has for one another was pure chefs kiss. I was starkly hooked onto it and was sometimes quite correct in some of my guesses as to what was going to happen, but, that little twist there I did not see it coming, ever. There were a few new lead-ins that I think are hopefully regarding possible futures for some of these characters. I enjoyed watching that all play out, and there’s even a bit of action that made things extra exciting especially when their super-powerful friends joined them on the board to help. Overall, this book was a wonderful addition to the series.

An absolutely unique and original take on vampires.
Being a vampire combined with earth elements is something I’ve never come across before.
This is my first read of the series and I loved it, I’m definitely going to read the previous books.
Brigid and Carwyn are absolutely delightful. They are an interesting couple.
Very opposite in every sense of the word.
But they are the perfect fit for one another.
The mystery waiting to be solved had me on the edge of my seat trying to guess who is about to what.
Lies, deceit and secrets ready to be unraveled and revealed.
And the kids of Paladin were an awesome group.
Ms. Hunter is a new to me author. I really enjoyed her writing style.
Loved her characters and the plot and storyline were captivating.
Once I started the book I couldn’t stop.
I needed to know what was going on and how things would end.
Definitely looking forward to more from this original unforgettable world of vampires and humans.

I absolutely LOVED this book!

Elizabeth Hunter delivers another gripping and laugh out loud paranormal romance with a fantastic mystery thrown in for good measure.

We are again treated to the hysterical duo of Carwyn ap Bryn and Brigid Connor as they are invited to wedding of the century in New Orleans. However, they aren't just there as guests as a threat is looming over the groom's business venture.

The husband and wife duo always have me in stitches when reading about their adventures across the US. Their banter will have you smiling and laughing out loud throughout the entire book. Even Carwyn, who used to be a priest until he met Brigid, had me laughing out loud during a scene when he calls out to another vampire by saying "Oy, Frenchie!"

I love how Elizabeth writes their dialogue with the pronunciation of their brogue. Brigid is Irish and Carwyn, Welsh and I swear you can honestly hear their brogues speaking directly to you.

If you couldn't tell, I absolutely am loving this series and I loved that we got to see Ben and Tenzin in this book as well! So many amazing characters and I can't wait to read more!!

What a ride this was! The wedding of the century and we're taken on a journey that rivals Sherlock Holmes mysteries! Yet C B get in their *cuddle* time. Tenzin is just a hoot, 24/7 (if you read, you know why 😉)
The build up was perfection. The execution = divine. These 2 are just a joy to read and all the familiar faces that pop in = heaven.
*chef's kiss* Elizabeth Hunter, you did it again!

Our favorites are all back!!

Paladin's Kiss by Elizabeth Hunter just hit my kindle early, and I couldn't even begin to explain how excited I was to reunite with these characters!

This is the 3rd book in the Elemental Covenant series from Elizabeth Hunter, which follows Carwyn ap Bryn and his mate, Brigid Connor. All of our most beloved friends from the elemental covenant series are here- Giovanni, Beatrice, Ben, and Tenzin. When many powerful vampires meet up, something wild is bound to happen.

Everyone is gathering in New Orleans to celebrate the union of Gavin Wallace- wind vampire and purveyor of neutral meeting spaces and consensual vampire feeding- and Chloe Reardon- professional dancer and beloved friend of Ben and Tenzin. It's the vampire wedding of the year- or the century even- but who counts when you're immortal? Shenanigans ensue. No spoilers here, but you will love it. There's a wedding, a former vampire priest, a badass pixie-sized fire vampire, all of our besties, and a raging mystery. What else do you need??

I've been reading and loving Carwyn's stories since way back in the first Elemental book, called A Hidden Fire. Carwyn has always symbolized all that is good and right with the world, and his boundless joy for life is contagious. I can't read about Carwyn without laughing and smiling, and this book was no different. Every time we get a glimpse into these characters lives, it feels like meeting up with cherished family that you've been long separated from, but love dearly. I want to be adopted into this immortal family, and I hope you will too after reading Paladin's Kiss.

I occasionally wonder if I’ll ever get bored of Elizabeth Hunter’s books. Then I read another one and laugh at how ridiculous that obviously is. This one is right up there in my favourites in this world. So much to love.

First of all, everyone is in town to celebrate Gavin and Chloe’s wedding. Which means not only do we get to read about that, including a fantastic variety of custom formal wear on vampires of all ages (LOVED!); but we get to have some other fave characters popping in too (LOVED more). So there was lots of fun, and some great ‘found family’ moments. Seriously loved Brigid and Tenzin’s interactions.

Carwyn and Brigid felt a little different, they’ve been together, travelling and helping people, for a while now. They seem both familiar, but evolving, and Brigid is finding that there is some things she hasn’t confronted or reconciled about her new existence.

The wedding is being held in New Orleans, hosted by Gavin’s mentor and business partner, as they are also beginning a new venture together. But trouble is brewing, and someone is working against them. So Gavin asks Carwyn and Brigid to investigate. There’s creepy stalkers, some kidnapping and cyber sneakiness. I thought I might know who was behind everything early on, but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out the why or how. I was kind of right, but there was so much more going on than I guessed.

And oh my god, that ending. I wanted to gush all over the place. Smidge of a book hangover there. Took me a couple of days to get my head around writing this review.

4.5 Stars 🌟

I forgot how much I love this series. It has been a while (or probably a better way to say it would be many and many books) since I've been back in this world. While the 2 main characters in this book are Carwyn and Brigid, we actually get to see many of my favorite characters arriving in New Orleans for Gavin and Chloe's wedding. We get to see Gavin and Chloe (of course), Ben and Tenzin (double yay!), and even Giovanni and Beatrice.

Someone is trying to sabotage Gavin's new and upcoming business and he asks Caryn and Brigid to step in and figure out who is responsible. I really enjoyed the storyline of this book. There was drama, mystery, intrigue and betrayal. What more can you ask for?

Tension ramps up as 2 humans on Gavin's staff are kidnapped and things get even more stressful as it becomes apparent that these two humans are under the Aegis of two VERY important vampires. If it gets out that Gavin cannot protect his own employees, things could get EXTREMELY bad.

This story has multiple layers in it and the conclusion shows a possible new pathway and story arc resulting from a character that gets away. It was fun to watch Brigid and Carwyn work together with Ben and Tenzin. I cannot stress how much I love Ben and Tenzin!

So, another winner. This book made me go back and look at the series and I realized that I have actually missed a couple of books in the interim. You can bet that I am going to add them to my TBR list immediately. Fun, fun fun.......

This world, this series is awesome! Every book is not to be missed. Carwyn and Brigid are asked to assist Gavin in a security issue and the puzzle begins. The characters are the best and although most are vampire are so vulnerable. I loved the complexity of the whodunit, I love the internal struggle of several characters. I love the wedding of two of my favorite characters. I love seeing Benzin and so many other favorites. Can't wait to see what's next! Read this now to continue the story or start at the very beginning with A Hidden Fire and be ready for hours and hours of the best storytelling I have ever had the pleasure to read. I was given the opportunity to read a copy of this book.

It's a paranormal urban fantasy read about elemental vampires and I really really like it.

Powerfull vampires with skills according to their elemental (fire, earth, wind and water) oh yeah I'm intrigued and I love seeing them in action and then there's Brigid and Carwyn's investigation of the stalking and kidnapping of Gavin's employees that really fun with searching clues, following a lead, questioning few suspects and witnesses (Brigid and Carwyn have unique way for questioning a suspect) and the banter, my fav part in this book is the banter between the main characters, it's so fun and full of laughter and the bonding is so perfect, it's like you can always count on each one of them. I also adore the relationship between Brigid and Carwyn, they're just so perfect for each other. The steaminess is also superb, it's vampire story so I expect nothing less. Yup I love everything even though it's kinda predictable, I can guess who's the culprit quite early.

It's a series, but it can read as a standalone although I think it's better if you read it from the first book, to understand the politic and all the main characters and their power. Overall it's a fun entertaining vampire story and I really really like it and totally recommended it, especially if you're craving for fun vampire story.

Sigh...Brigid and Carwyn...I love them. They make the trek to New Orleans for Chloe and Gavin's wedding celebration season. Gavin's new venture is threatened when his top employees are being attacked. But never fear! Brigid and Carwyn are on the case! I would say this one's storyline is not quite as heavy as the previous two books in the series, but no less in-depth and a mystery. We get appearances from our favorite Elemental characters, too!

I had the chance to read an early copy for review.

If there were more stars to give, I wouldn't even hesitate. Paladin's Kiss is every single thing that I wanted, and even things I didn't know that I should want, in a story. It was like coming home, surrounded by everyone I love, with all my favorite comfort foods and being enveloped by the softest blanket ever.

Not only was the mystery perfect, set in one of my favorite locales for a mystery, the new characters added just the right "spice" to my old friends. Carwyn is my absolute favorite vampire in the Elemental world and I love getting to tag along and bathe in his joy for life. Brigid's true and honest struggles in this story, while still being grateful for her mate, plucks at my heartstrings and endears her to me in a way I hadn't expected. Add in some old friends from stories past and this book was absolute perfection.

I think I'm going to read it again right now because I'm not ready to let this one go yet. 🧡

What's not to like? You got Carwyn and Brigid (of course, it's their series), you got Ben and Tenzin, you got Gavin and Chloe, you even got some Gio and B.
And new people! Some are great, some are a bit suss. Some have fangs and some go to sleep at night like normal people.
There are dodgy goings on but there's a wedding that must not be disrupted.
Danger is faced head on, but this is interspersed with love and witty repartee.

Carwyn and Brigid are so much fun to revisit! I laughed so hard at him!! They are just perfect together, they balance each other!
This story was so involved and interesting and intense but at the same time it was amazing and touching and everything we have waited for with Gavin and Chloe. Elizabeth Hunter delivers the perfect blend of mystery, intrigue ,undying love and loyalty just like she always does!

Elizabeth Hunter’s books are always a special treat. She is a masterful storyteller and one of my favourite authors, so I was delighted to receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review for ‘Paladin’s Kiss’. Her books range in genre from Paranormal Romance, to Contemporary Romance, to Mysteries. All are imaginative stories, with characters that are so enjoyable and well written. Her Elemental World is my favourite.

In ‘Paladin’s Kiss’ we are taken on a journey to New Orleans, to the wedding of Chloe Reardon and Gavin Wallace. Chloe is a human dancer who wanted to lead a normal life but was unwittingly drawn into the vampire world. She just wants to turn up to marry her vampire fiancé, Gavin, after letting his mentor, Marie-Helene Charmont, organise the wedding. However, with Chloe’s family of the heart being mainly vampires, and Gavin’s latest business venture creating waves in the vampire world, this isn’t going to happen. Gavin’s position as a neutral party is under threat.
Gavin asks their friends, Carwyn and Brigid, to investigate someone who is harassing his employees. What follows is more than anyone expected.

Some of my favourite parts of this story were the times spent with my favourite characters from EH’s Elemental World. These characters have the reader chuckling at their antics and banter one minute, then gasping at their ruthlessness the next. Whenever Ben and Tenzin team with Brigid and Carwyn, fun and bloodshed ensue. I also enjoyed reading more about Beatrice and Giovanni and their entourage and, of course, the vampire wedding of the century.

‘Paladin’s Kiss’ is the third instalment in the Elemental Covenant series, which follows the investigative adventures of Brigid and Carwyn with help from their friends. However, this ‘world’ begins way back with ‘A Hidden Fire’, the very first book in the Elemental Mysteries series. I would recommend starting there if you want to get the full background and to discover all the characters and all the rich stories. If you don’t want to start that far back, I would begin at the very least with ‘Midnight Labyrinth’.

I rarely give 5-star reviews, but Elizabeth Hunter has earned another one for Paladin's Kiss.
Paladin's Kiss has the whole gang together in NOLA for the monstrous sized wedding of Gavin and Chloe (yay!) We not only get Carwyn and Brigid but we also get Beatrice and Gio, Tenzin and Ben, Gavin and Chloe and Marie Helene', who is intent on having a spectacle and a spectacle she shall have.
During the weeks' long pre-wedding festivities Carwyn and Brigid are enlisted by Gavin who along with Marie Helene' have begun a business venture in a tech company that will directly compete with Patrick Murphy's Nocht. After hiring a group of youngsters who are highly gifted in tech and cyber, funny things start happening. One employee leaves and moves back home with no notice, and another disappears. Let the mystery and shenanigans begin!
One of Elizabeth Hunter's talent is that her new books always have a plot point continuation from previous books. It makes her work fluid and un-interrupted. And as usual NOLA is a secondary character. What a perfect locale to have a vampire wedding.
Yes, Paladin's Kiss is a great who-done-it, but it is just as much the evolution of Carwyn's and Brigid's relationship. Carwyn is Carwyn. Sigh. He is so gentle and understanding with his mate. She is his treasure. Brigid never received that kind of affection in her previous life, so she tends to fight with herself to accept it with no hesitation even knowing how much she loves Carwyn. She is also having an inner crisis with her element and the darkness that dwells within herself as she tries to control it.
No matter how this group of people came to be, how they met and what they do, they are the family that they have all chosen.
Another winner, Ms. Hunter. Thank you so much for giving me the chance to read this tale early. I have already pre-ordered the paperback.
*** Vampire bachelor and bachelorette parties are hilarious.
*** Arthur needs to be bitten.
*** I'm REALLY curious about the Russian that interacted with Brigid at the farmhouse. ???

Ah, I eagerly await each new addition to Elizabeth Hunter's Elemental Universe, and Paladin's Kiss was...well *Chef's kiss* delectable. The mystery was excellent, all the hints, the subterfuge. that exists in the vampire society--especially in New Orleans. And New Orlean...dark, humid, hazy with the heat, all that is hidden in the old city's worn-out houses and wrecks of houses left over from Katrina, not to mention the old world mansions. Carwyn and Brigid are there for the wedding of their friend and non-aligned vampire, Gavin Wallace. Little did they know that they would be swept into another mystery upon arriving.

Elizabeth kept me reading and enjoying every drop of this book. With the arrival of Tenzin and Ben, things get that lovely amusing quality that only Tenzin can bring with her ancient but childlike view of things. Giovanni and Beatrice are there as well, and the friendship scenes are scrumptious reading. The struggles that Brigid is learning to deal with as a young vampire challenge her strength, but Carwyn is there to guide, direct, and love her through what seems to amount to a type of adolescent vampire time (and this is just struggling to understand and control her element). All this does is just make you enjoy the series so much more. Just as we have come to love Giovanni and Beatrice and Ben and Tenzin from their series, so too are we just loving Carwyn and Brigid all the more.

The mystery is confounding and leaves you guessing. And there is a recurring thread that appears in this novel that was previous books in the series that hint we are heading to an eventual BIG showdown. Elizabeth blends all this seamlessly into yet another heckuva good read. If you enjoy classy yet unique vampires, urban fantasy with a great mystery---here's your book.

Elizabeth Hunter has, again, surpassed any and all expectations I had for this book. It was an interesting mystery, that will keep you enrapt until the end. Whilst you may have an inkling as to who may be involved in the deception, you will be surprised at the conclusion.

Carywn and Brigid have been asked by Gavin to do some investigating while they're visiting for the wedding of the century. There seems to be something strange going on, where some of his employees have been followed, and thus this starts the mystery. You are introduced to all the main employees, and watching the interactions between Carwyn and Brigid with the tech employees can be very amusing.

From start to finish you won't be able to put the book down, I know I found it very hard. It doesn't help that two of our favorite treasure hunters make an entrance you won't soon forget. Not only that, you will be left with questions in regards to the bachelorette party. Enquiring minds really will want to know.

Read it, you won't be disappointed. It had everything I think I expected from one of best authors I have read in the vampire world, and then she adds some crazy, who doesn't love Tenzin. She then adds a conundrum that started in a previous book. I highly recommend.

**4.5 STARS**

Set in my all-time favorite city, New Orleans, the third installment of Elizabeth Hunter’s Elemental Covenant series, “Paladin’s Kiss” has a little something for everyone. There is no shortage of intrigue sprinkled with generous helpings of humor, unrequited love, marital bliss (complete with mucho smexy times), revenge, and, much to Tenzin and Brigit’s chagrin, glittery wedding shenanigans. (And, if you're a fan of "The Originals" TV series, this book will definitely give you Mikaelson vibes.)

Full disclosure... I’m a little biased because I am always going to read any book with my favorite giant-Hawaiian-shirt-wearing-redheaded-funny-sexy vampire, a.k.a. Carwyn ap Bryn. :) That aside, “Paladin’s Kiss” is a fabulous continuation of the series. You’ll absolutely want to add it to your collection.

I was given an opportunity to read an advanced copy of “Paladin’s Kiss” in exchange for an honest review.

Do you love Vampires? Do you love solving a good mystery? Do you love having a good laugh every now and then? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then this is the book for you!
Brigid and Carwyn are back, and this is everything you could have dreamed of and more when it comes to one of their stories. Their flaming personalities were out in full force, whether flaming because of actual fires or just those hilarious shirts that Carwyn wears. Elizabeth Hunter truly did a fantastic job with this one.
In Paladin’s Kiss we are on adventure to find where a missing human has gone while keeping the facade that nothing has gone amiss during Gavin and Chloe’s wedding festivities. With guest appearances and a little help from our favorite duo, Ben and Tenzin, Gavin and Brigid are on a mission to find the human and who took him… that is, unless he left by his own choice.
If there is one thing I’m bummed about, it’s not knowing what went down during Chloe’s bachelorette party. I’m sure that night could have it’s own Novella and we’d all snatch it up so quickly! 😂
You won’t regret reading this book, it really is the best of the Carwyn and Brigid series!

Like a family reunion! The Elemental Universe has come together with a lot of my favorite vampires. I won't give all their names. You just have to read the book. As always in Ms. Hunter's books, there are lots of twists and turns to the mystery. And lots of vampire politics are playing a big role. The politics are something I just can't get enough of. In every book, I'm looking forward to more intrigue. To sum it up... this is a fantastic read you don't want to miss out on!

Gavin and Chloe are getting married but someone is harassing and kidnapping Gavin’s employees. Enter Carwyn and Bridgett to solve this mystery. I’m really enjoying this mystery series. I kind of pegged the culprit at the beginning but watching the action unfold and seeing them solve it was still entertaining. Highly recommended.
