With enough energy one can move mountains,
travel to heavenly bodies,
build world-ending weapons,
or do something so dangerous that it is illegal to even discuss,
forbidden even to think about.

One man defied it all . . . and the consequences are beyond comprehension.

Prepare to be shocked.

USA TODAY Bestselling Author Brandt Legg uses his unusual real life experiences to create page-turning novels. He’s traveled with CIA agents, dined with senators and congressmen, mingled with astronauts, chatted with governors and presidential candidates, had a private conversation with a Secretary of Defense he still doesn’t like to talk about, hung out with Oscar and Grammy winners, had drinks at the State Department, been pursued by tabloid reporters, and spent a birthday at the White House by invitation from the President of the United States.

At age eight, Legg's father died suddenly, plunging his family into poverty. Two years later, while suffering from crippling migraines, he started in business, and turned a hobby into a multi-million-dollar empire. National media dubbed him the “Teen Tycoon,” and by the mid-eighties, Legg was one of the top young entrepreneurs in America, appearing as high as number twenty-four on the list (when Steve Jobs was #1, Bill Gates #4, and Michael Dell #6). Legg still jokes that he should have gone into computers.

By his twenties, after years of buying and selling businesses, leveraging, and risk-taking, the high-flying Legg became ensnarled in the financial whirlwind of the junk bond eighties. The stock market crashed and a firestorm of trouble came down. The Teen Tycoon racked up more than a million dollars in legal fees, was betrayed by those closest to him, lost his entire fortune, and ended up serving time for financial improprieties.

After a year, Legg emerged from federal prison, chastened and wiser, and began anew. More than twenty-five years later, he’s now using all that hard-earned firsthand knowledge of conspiracies, corruption and high finance to weave his tales. Legg’s books pulse with authenticity.

His series have excited nearly a million readers around the world. Although he refused an offer to make a television movie about his life as a teenage millionaire, his autobiography is in the works. There has also been interest from Hollywood to turn his thrillers into films. With any luck, one day you’ll see your favorite characters on screen.

Legg now writes full time – his favorite endeavor ever! For more information, visit BrandtLegg.com, or to contact Brandt directly, email him: Brandt@BrandtLegg.com, he loves to hear from readers and always responds!

Cosega Shock, part 7 of this thread in the "Legg-verse" is another outstanding effort and shows his continuing growth as a story teller as well as it being a compelling story in and of itself.

Once again this author has expanded the world of his story and tied his characters into that expansion to make them more complete. Cosegans working to save themselves and the human race interacting with not only the far future, but adding to understanding the challenge from the far past, while still trying to figure out the missing time. Maybe time can be compressed????? Well as you all know...."time is a funny thing".

This book does a great job in staying true to the series and brings in new twists, a few surprises and new characters. This is how you develop and keep a series vital and interesting. I cherish the familiar and enjoy the new along the way. It's far from over but you can see the plot and the world moving to a conclusion. This is also alarming and comforting, that you know it is not strung out for endless time to sell a book but that you will have to see the cumulative story resolve. Good news I firmly believe is that Brandt Legg has a well of creativeness and ideas bubbling that maybe even he does not realize yet. I look forward to being part of that ride. This time I got to read it from my patio in a town that Case & Wen went through in the chasing series, and in one of Yelapa's excellent restaurants waiting for my food (pictures attached). Maybe next time in Costa Rica.

A fun series, a fun reality, and a really good writer. Highly recommend this book and the author Brandt Legg!

This is the seventh in a series of Sci-Fi books by Brandt Legg. Rip and Gale are still in hiding and trying to work with the Eysens to save humankind. Trynn is trying to do the same thing from his place 10.5 million years before as he also remains in hiding. We also read that there is another group of people in the Far Past (before Trynn) trying to manipulate time, as they were the ones to originally make the mistake of creating the Doom.

Unbelievable! How the author can keep coming up with names, ideas, mini stories within a main story, characters, places and so on. What wonderful imagination - how does the author's brain keep track of all this and deliver such an action packed book.

3.5 stars. Digital book.
Okay adding in a set of far past characters is certainly a twist, if they end up being more relevant. You just never know what’s gonna happen next in this world and I’m here for it.
