Naomi and Sin are a couple you will absolutely fall in love with. After experiencing a horrendous loss and breakup with her trash azz mama’s boy ex, Naomi was focused on one thing and one thing only. Winning a championship ring. So, a relationship was the last thing she was looking for. Fortunately for her, Sin wasn’t trying to hear that nonsense. When he saw Naomi, he saw his future wife so, he was relentless in his pursuit of her. I just adored Sin’s acceptance of Naomi. She was not a girly girl at all. Naomi was a bonified tomboy who wore a sweats, Jordans, and a gold grill seven days a week. But, none of that mattered to Sin because, to him, Naomi was still very much sexy. He could care less about her choice in clothing. The family dynamics were on point. I loved the closeness and camaraderie of the Smith cousins. They were hilarious. Especially Zoo. He was a fool! Be prepared to laugh your azz off at him. The friendship between Naomi, PJ, and Brianna was sweet and loving. I loved how they rallied around Brianna while she was going through it with that sorry azz Teddy. PJ’s bluntness and how she kept it real with Brianna about her one sided “relationship” with Teddy are what friendships are made for. Baby Girl had absolutely no problem speaking her mind and telling Brianna what she thought about Teddy. I can’t wait until she gets rid of him. And, that ending tho! Whew! I sure hope the Pelicans can still make it to the finals. Shot Clock was a great introduction to the Women Who Ball series. Sin, Zoo, and Brooklyn are ready to play their position in the lives of each of these women and I can’t wait to see what happens next. Well done ladies.

Wait a doggone minute!!! IKYFL!!! What kind of cliffhanger was that?! TF?!?! 🤦🏽♀️🤧😭😱 where is the next book because A.J and M. Monique got me allll the way f$&@ up lol! This was a really good introduction to this series. I love love love Sin and Naomi! After the trash 🗑 she dated and his trash @$$ mama she deserved a dude like Sin to show her a real man. I loved how his mama schooled her too! Yasss mama Smith! PJ is going to give Zoo a run for his money and I can’t wait for Bri to drop Teddy and give Brooklyn a chance! The book was also funny af! I need part two like yesterday!

I enjoyed Naomi and Sin. Sin knew the moment he laid eyes on Naomi that she was who he wanted and his actions proved it. “All gas, no breaks” is the best way to describe how relentless he was in his pursuit. It didn’t matter that Naomi was done with love and was all about her career, Sin came and bulldozed his way into her life and heart.
“Your happiness matters the most and if you have to pretend to be someone else then you were never giving your ex the real you”.
What I loved the most about this book is the way that Sin accepted Naomi. She is a tom-boy, grillz wearing basketball player who prefers sweats and basketball shoes and it drove him crazy. The way he spoke life and encouraged her to be herself had me swooning. I loved that the authors gave us SPORTS! You get play by play action of Naomi and her team balling and it truly had me excited. I have to speak on the amazing family and friendship dynamics in this book. Their dialogue alone had me in stitches while reading. They are some fools LOL! My biggest drawback is not getting enough of Sin’s pursuit of Naomi on page. I felt the multiple POV’s from the other characters took away from me seeing the majority of the couple’s journey to love. I wanted to actually see Sin breakdown the walls that Naomi built. I hate that I wasn’t privy to that experience. Overall , lthis book is a great start to the “Women who Ball” series. I love the storyline of the “Plain Jane” getting her happily ever after without having to change and I cannot wait to read more from this dynamic author duo.

I loved Naomi and PJs sisterhood, it’s dope that they get to play on the same team. But Sin.. baby he was ready and willing to risk it all! He laid eyes on Naomi and knew she was his equal- totally swooning over Sin’s character. Normally we get stories where the male athletes are flying their girls out to see them so to see Sin catching flights to support Naomi was so refreshing!!

This book is so freaking good! Hunny that damn Sin, Zoo and Brooklyn is funny as hell and I’m tickled. I love Sin and Naomi together I can tell it’s a beautiful love story being written. Zoo please show miss mean PJ some act right I am excited about how their friendship will evolve. If I never heard about a sorry ninja it would be Teddy and my girl definitely deserves better… But that cliffhanger though has my heart in my toes and I need to dive into book 2

I loved the concept of this book. I love how the focus was on WNBA players. Bravo to the two authors for the change up and thinking outside of the box. Sin was all that and then some. I love how he locked down the walls that Naomi had built up. He loved her just as she was, and didn’t require her to be anything other than herself. I can’t wait for the next part.

From the first chapter till the end of this book it will have you in your wonderful feelings. Follow these two sets of friendships and see how they will come together to make one solid friendship and family, I believe every solid person deserves friends like these.
When you know you just know and Sin knew Naomi was his “wife” she tried to fight it but you cant fight what God has in store for you. I loved them and I cant wait to see what is next. Vick was a f**k boy and it hurt Naomi to the core but I love how Sin pointed out if you have to change yourself it isn’t meant to be!
Zoo what can you say about him but he is a fool but you can’t help but love him. His character hand me laughing the whole book. I felt PJ pre-judged him based off something and I hope in their story we really find out about why she feels the way she does. It’s more to her story because she likes Zoo but from the beginning she gave him a hard time and didn’t want to give him a chance.
Brooklyn and Brianna I am here for because she is going to need support with the soon to be ex Teddy and I believe Brooklyn is going to need her to be there for him in the end.

Once Naomi stopped stopped playing hard to get with Sin, their progression were a beautiful thing. The support he had for her was amazing and he 125% supported her in her career.
PJ is feisty and her and Zoo cracked me up! I’m waiting to see how their situation played out!
Brianna not sure why she’s staying in that dead end relationship, but it’s a crying shame! Sometimes having “history” with someone ain’t supposed to make you miserable. She’s too talented to be in that BS IJS!
It’s good to see the heroine playing the sports vs. the men for a change.

How you gone talk trash about you auntie food but on the side of the house trying to get Sin's attention so he can get him a plate of food!😂😂😂😂! A fling hanging
I liked this one dimensional sports themed love story. The guys in this one were all a little touched, and the ladies were barely hanging on with the insanity in the storyline. Zoo had the correct name, and Sin was that too. I know we aren't suppose to hate, but Vick gets that emotion without question for the way he treated Naomi. Karma is going to see him, for sure. The basketball part of the story is spot on. PJ and the other ladies made the story enjoyable with cool dialogue. Overall, this one was fun... They need to come on with the rest of this story. 3.75 Stars....

Interestingly to good to put down!!
I chose this book only because of the author, interestingly to good to put down. I was just waiting on this author but mainly the collaborating author to come out with something new. I am not a sports fan and actually know nothing about basketball. This took on a new area for me and U actually enjoyed the thought of women's basketball with a sexy twist. The vibe it gives is refreshing because it's a REAL female that hoops and not gay as society wants us to believe. PJ and Naomi are women real women that can be themselves. They dressed and acted the way they wanted too without any apologies and I love it. Great read!!

This is my first read by these authors and they did not disappoint. I can’t wait to read the next books in this series. Sin was that dude and showed his intentions with Naomi. Zoo was hilarious and I can’t wait to see what will develop between him and PJ. The two of them together are hilarious. And then came Brooklyn who just slid on in there and I can’t wait to see how he shows his intentions with Brianna cause he said a mouthful about how a man moves when he finds his woman. Now I got to go look through the rest of their catalogue.

Vick a** shouldn't have stood up to his mammy. He let her talk with Naomi let she didn't even matter. She lost their baby. That's why she didn't really want to give Sin a short.Naomi gave Sin a shot finally, but it turned into more. Emily is going to get her feelings hurt by playing with Brooklyn, he already told her that he don't want her. He many times he's got to say it. Teddy is a ham a** ninja. Brianna needs to let him go. He's emotional abuse. Pj might as well give Zoo a chance. He already said his peace to her.

Great Book!!
This book is an excellent read and was well written. I loved every moment of this book and can’t wait to read book 2!!
Naomi and Sin’s love story was definitely complicated, she was not looking for love and wanted nothing to do with him and he knew she was his wife. It was great seeing the beginning of PJ and Zoo’s relationship along with the beginning of Bri and Brooklyn’s relationship, looking forward to see what’s next in book 2 (PJ and Zoo’s book).
If you love urban sports romance books then this is definitely the book for you!

One thing I know I’m gonna get from AJ is some crazy characters 😂 These two authors collaborating is nothing short of amazing. These men are a hot mess but in good way. I love a man who goes after what he wants no matter what. Naomi deserved a man like Sin to Love and Accept her for who she is. Being loved properly by a real man is top tier!
I’m beyond excited for this series. I love these characters and the laughs just don’t stop

The plot was everything and I cannot wait for part 2!!💕💕

These characters are crazy! Not one person is boring. The main character Sin is just that sexy as Sin and he has his sights on a gorgeous WNBA player Naomi. I love the fact these ladies make these alpha males work for their time. And the character Zoo will have you laughing while reading in a quite room. This book is a rare, hard to find combination of sexy and funny. You won’t regret reading this well written book. Promise!

Overall story was okay, but the errors are this one up. And the long monologues from the characters that didn’t sound natural or realistic- really threw everything off.
I was happy all three couples were essentially introduced here. So it’s basically one story chopped up.
At this point I’m moving forward to book 2. But no guarantees I’ll finish the series.
The length of the book is another plus.
Overall story was okay, but the errors are this one up. And the long monologues from the characters that didn’t sound natural or realistic- really threw everything off.
I was happy all three couples were essentially introduced here. So it’s basically one story chopped up.
At this point I’m moving forward to book 2. But no guarantees I’ll finish the series.
The length of the book is another plus.

balling with an attitude
I am loving this story about female ballers. It’s so refreshing to read a story about 3 successful, beautiful, black women navigating life and love. This story was funny and sexy and will have you cheering for Naomi and Sin. I absolutely loved this book. I’m also looking for Sin cause Oohh weee he is all man.

Excellent read and writing ladies!!!! I really enjoyed this book I finished it in one sitting. I can't wait to read more! That damn Zoo is hilarious and a mess at the same time, I hope to see something brew between Brooklyn and Bri! G me on with it we're READY!!!!

That ending had me speculating! Sin, Zoo and Brooklyn act like there are triplets.....love the bromance! Zoo is gonna love the hardest and the strongest. He is gonna flip when Pen gives up her v- card!!! Brooklyn and Brianna.....oh can't wait for their story. Teddy is such a waste man!!! I am here for the drama. Blessings

Sin and Naomi!!
I won't spoil it, but I will say don't read this book in church 😂😂 This book is a page turner! I was supposed to be doing volunteer work in a church, and couldn't put this book down for anything. Reading the sex scenes had me feeling so guilty bc they were just THAT GOOD!!!! Yall betta get into it!

Naomi and sin Perfect match
Naomi strength was and Is refreshing the way she stood up to negativity and disrespect, respectfully. Applauded her for checking her boy friend on his mom degrading view of her. It's horrible tragedy had to happen to walk away from a toxic relationship.

Wow! I hope Naomi is ok! Her and Sin make a good couple. I hope Pen gives Zoo a chance, even though he is rough around the edges, but hilarious at the same time. I hope Bri kicks Teddy to the curb! He’s so pathetic! Brooklyn gonna steal her from him. Vick had the nerve to step to Naomi! What a simp! Looking forward to next installment!!!!
