This book is the best book to start with when going into this topic!
Finally a book that helps with “one step at a time” with Human Design. This book works like a course. It is packed with information that you can easily put together in creating a positive overview in letter form. To give to yourself or your loved ones. It is like creating a reading from scratch, by yourself. It it full with affirmations that suits for you personally. Besides this, it also explains what all the meanings are behind it and what’s it for and how it works. How every part is influencing the other and how you should “read” the human design chart.
This book creates a positive self love!

Definitely a great start down the Human Design rabbit hole. I love the questions and affirmations with each section. I have learned so much already & the great thing about this book is that you can always go back and catch something you may not have even noticed at first after you meet more people or attain more knowledge about your own chart.

Covers the basics of Human Design, lots of good information. Gets less clear as it goes on and more confusing. The author uses too many terms interchangeably and the final section on working with planets and gates is very unclear.

The beginning was super easy to understand and begin a journey into Human Design and my chart. When exploring Planets and Gates, it got to be a bit more confusing and I had to use ChatGPT as a tool to help understand.

Very easy to understand with a lot of good info. Some of the instructions for the affirmations we are to write were a bit confusing for me, but otherwise a lovely book.

The book was extremely vague and redundant. The content could be summed up with a few bullet point lists- and you can find that information for free online. The lack of explanation as to how the various metaphysical sources contribute to the HD chart was disappointing. I know that lumping together multiple complex systems (chakras, I Ching, etc) would make it difficult for someone to provide details, unless the author was an expert is all of those individual systems and could explain how each of them contributes to each specific concept of HD. The lack of real life examples makes the reading dry and superficial. I prefer astrology and enneagram, as they have specific, consistent, and anticipated reproducible results. I don’t know if it’s HD that I’m iffy about altogether or just this book. I might try another author, if they come from a more analytical approach.
