this was the fastest audiobook i've ever listened to!

the hero is obsessed with the heroine since they were young, but then he left and when he came back she had left for college. now years later she goes to a job interview and finds out that her boss is actually that boy she loved.

is hard to review something so short, but it was entertaining and again, pretty fast.

I've read plenty of novellas that were excellent. I usually find myself wanting more from the novellas I've read, but, I couldn't wait to finish this one. This had absolutely no plot. It was so boring. The dialogue was cringy as fuck, which made the smut awful... So unfortunate.

It's a no for me. Waste of time!

This was EVERYTHING! Astrid is going a little out of her mind thinking about her love life, and I really enjoyed how this played out with Q, Austin, and Cupid. The story was so sweet, and the ending and epilogues were STEAMY!🥵 𝘾𝙪𝙥𝙞𝙙 𝙂𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙠 was such a satisfying and quick read that will definitely put you in a good mood.💕

Cupid Gets Struck
I liked this story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable even though my brain tried to make the story more complicated than it was. There was a touch of steam and a tiny bit of drama/angst. The characters were interesting and likable. Cupid (Q/Austin) was very dedicated to Astrid. His decision to try to make all of her dreams come true was super sweet. Nick and Star were great helpers for both Cupid and Astrid. They were supportive and also willing to give a push when needed. I loved Cupid and Astrid's happily ever after.

Locked up Love
I really kind of loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable but also sweet. There was some drama and angst but it resolved well. The characters were interesting and likable. Mike and Sherry were great friends that were willing to help out wherever they could. Mrs. Honey was a crack up but also like a mom to Lizzy. She would probably really enjoy being grandma too. Rocco and Lizzy had an unusual relationship for a while but their reunion was hot and steamy. I loved their happily ever after.

Be Mine or Else
I love this story. Dove and Beau were great together. Really enjoyed the twist. Fun and entertaining read. Great story!

My favorite of these is "Be Mine or Else". I recommend reading any or all of these books.

Cupid ha estado enamorado desde pequeño de la hermana de su amigo, pero tuvo que mudarse y perdió contacto con ella. O al menos eso es lo que cree Astrid, quien también se enamoró de él. Lo cierto es que ha estado junto a ella por mucho tiempo a través de internet. Cuando vuelven a encontrarse en persona las chispas salta, y tenemos una gran sorpresa de san Valentín en escena.

Como todo lo que ellas escriben tenemos un final feliz asegurado, escenas candentes y romance a montones. Un macho alfa codiciado por todas, pero que solo tiene ojos para la mujer que ama. Instalove y dulces y calientes palabras jaja si les gustan este tipo de historias vayan a leerla!!

I listened to this audiobook on the Read Me Romance podcast. This book is adorable. Astrid and Cupid are quite the pair. Cupid Gets Struck is a combination brother’s best friend, second chance and online romance. Even without the epilogue, the last chapter felt like an epilogue. I loved how Astrid and Cupid are pulled together and are full steam ahead.

👎 all the way…bad is the word for this one. Thankfully it had 2 other stories as “bonus” books which I’ve read before and liked but for this story alone don’t waste your time or money on it. There’s not even a story, I’m all for insta everything but this felt like insta blah, no connection despite supposedly falling for the same man 3 times. You see/feel none of it and even when she interacts with Q there’s not enough to even feel the supposed magical connection they have because most of it is comparing him to Austin and Cupid and how Cupid supposedly has her heart but she’s here panting over Q 🤢

I think I might rate this no stars if I could, this was barely a story. I really wanted a cute romance set around baking etc, but this goes at lightning speed - and I mean at lightning Alexa Riley speed. I know it’s insta love, but even for her this was on 3x fast-forward!

I’ve read a lot of Alexa’s work but there’s very little romance this time around, very little chemistry depicted between the characters, and hardly any smut even! I feel like someone promised me a cake and gave me a plain cracker, I am not left satisfied by any of this.

This is a trio of books. Cupid Gets Struck, Locked Up Love, Be Mine Or Else. I have previously read and review the second and third stories , so this review is for the first story that this trio is named after. I loved this over the top fall in love with the same person but not knowing it. They met young, but his family left. He kept tabs on her, using a name that was his, but was unknown to her. Everything he did, he did for love for her. When the truth is revealed, it’s a very happy reunion to last a life time! OMG loved this story.

Thought this was a story about actual cupid. Almost put it down when I realised the character was just some normal guy unfortunately name Cupid. Instead, I powered through to find someones Sims 4 storyline made into a novella because damn shit happened in 3x speed. What the fuck. I guess the ML was refreshing from the usual type of “Alphahole” character. The triple identity set up was interesting and I would be intrigued to see what this story would've been like if it was allowed to really explore it without the length constraints. Still kinda enjoyed though.

I didn't even know I reached the end of the book because I was so bored and just skimmed through. The dirty talk was not exciting, the plot line was as expected, it was a very flat mini story. Best friend's sister and childhood friends trope is the reason why the delivery of the book failed. I can't even classify this as smut, it is just words put together in the same sentence.

I will review the other two books, separately.

Cupid is the owner of several restaurants and best friend of Astrid's brother. Astrid is freshly out of culinary school and looking for a job that pays enough so she can move out of her newlywed brother's apartment.

This is a first and forever love between two virgins that gravitate towards each other their whole life and beautifully narrated by Chelsea Stephens.

Ummm, I love AR, but this was lackluster. The basic elements are there, but something is missing. Because this book turned out to be an anthology of one new story and two previously released stories, it’s hard to tell the length of the new story. But I did wonder if the story is a little too rushed and therefore missing some tension. It should have been sweet, but it just felt flat.

I’ve reread many of AR books, but I don’t think this will ever be one of them.

So I’ll start by saying this book was even shorter than most Alexa Riley books. It came bundled with 2 books I’ve already read. Honestly I didn’t get a feel for these characters before the book was over. Q and Astrid are interesting and seem to have a long history that I would love to have seen explored even the tiniest bit but alas, it was over before it really got started. I wasn’t overly enthused with this book it’s 3 stars at best and I’m being a bit generous.

it was ok. it felt a little off to me because the h considers herself to be in a relationship with this guy online (it turns out to be the H but she doesn't know that till later) but she almost kissed the H and she said she had fantasies about sleeping with the H then going and being with the guy from online. sure there only fantasies but that means she was fanasizeing about cheating on the guy she loves and that doesn't sit right with me. :/

I was planning to save this for Valentine’s day but I couldn’t wait. I was pretty excited for this one. I mean it even had a character called Cupid but unfortunately I didn’t enjoy it that much. It was a fun read like all Alexa Riley books but it felt rushed and it’s rare for me to enjoy friends to lovers trope.
